Peter was so helpful during the entire process. Everything was perfect! The process was great although stressful at times but Peter was with us all the way and he was responsive to our questions. Great customer service K. Hov!

The home itself is very nice the neighborhood is nice but the people I had to deal with were disappointing and rude. No answers in timely manner, things that were done wrong or missed were always blamed on me the buyer for not answering the phone. When I’m face they hadn’t even tried to contact me. Last minute contact for many things. If you work or live out of town these people will say they contacted you but it’s most likely mismanagement on the builders part. So many things were just dropped on me last minute. This builder or their workers make you feel like they are doing you a favor. If I’m buying a $300,000+ house I expect a certain level of professionalism. I love my home but the experience with the builders employees was trash. ... More

The overall experience was good. I did not like the one-sided contracts that say f the buyer and protect the builder. There was a lack of communication from the front office especially after I did my part to make sure that everything was ready for closing. We closed late and no communication was sent before the day of the original closing. I enjoyed working with Sammie because he was the only person who was honest about the whole process and was helpful even after I moved into the home. Very nice and genuine guy for sure. I love the community and have not experienced major issues.

After my experience with K. Hovnanian, I cannot happily recommend the builder to my friends and family due to poor craftsmanship and attention to detail by the workers and internal KHov inspectors. The fact that the house passed quality standard inspections before our first walk is absurd as there was just so much to be fixed (underside of handrails on the stairs unpainted, multiple cracked and damaged door frames and doors, unfinished paint on ceilings…) after the first walk (Monday) which was scheduled FOUR days before closing (Friday). That clearly is just not enough time especially when they started fixing the issues on Thursday. In fact, on the day of closing they were still working to touch up all the areas on the pre-settlement walk list which should have already been done. I wish I could l share all the pictures here—doors were being placed and painted, outside of the house still undergoing repairs, blue tape still left on the majority of the house, stair handrails STILL unpainted, cleaning personnel just arriving after our “final walk”… it looked like we were walking in on the building process itself. How are we going to close on the home when the paint isn’t even dry yet? Unfortunately, every aspect near closing felt rushed, and I’m certain the workers felt so too. I only wish the workers had more time to address the problems so that they didn’t feel rushed. Instead, all the finishing touches just turned out sloppy when they could have paid more attention to the details if they had more time. The only positive experience we had during the entire process was having the pleasure to work with Shelby, our wonderful sales consultant. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were updated weekly and even took pictures when she could! We greatly appreciated her patience and recommendations she had for us during our selection and design appointments. Overall, we are very disappointed as I chose KHov to build our home due to the number of raving reviews we read beforehand. KHov probably does do a stellar job in other communities; however, from this experience here in Houston, it wasn’t exactly that. He made himself available to us and eased our minds during the building process, it was outstanding. We would absolutely recommend KHov to our friends and family. It was an amazing experience.

The K Hovnanian team exceeded my expectations in many ways. They were careful not too over promise but certainly over delivered. Nate and Garrett were my dream team and I hope they're still in the business when I'm ready to purchase my next home. Highly recommend and appreciate them so much. No regrets.

Jay at KHOV was a breeze to work with. Immediately took care of any concerns and worked with us to make some small changes. Overall excellent experience with this builder.

We initially went under contract with CastleRock for a house that was in the process of being built. After a couple weeks of progress and seeing the terrible craftsmanship and also having an unresponsive construction manager and sales manager we forfeited our contract. We found a KHov house under construction and the decided that was the house for us. The difference was incredible. KHov really takes pride in their build. Crafts were all great to work with and did a top notch job. If something was wrong KHov fixed it with no questions asked...Even after closing, if anything needed fixed (we had 2 windows that needed replaced and a scratch on the bath tub fixed) KHov came and got it repaired/replaced very timely. Our construction manager was Christian and Sales Manager was Brandi. I'd give each of them a 10/10... Very helpful and pleasant to work with. ... More

When working with Garrett through each stage we were always in the loop and informed on the process. The only feedback we really had was that during the building process we noticed one of the bathtubs didn't have a liner and sometimes urine was left by the builders. It was only disturbing because we would expect everything to be clean and new after moving in. Everything else was great and everyone had great and consistent communication with us. We especially enjoyed the design center process and how patient our consultant was with us while making choices.

Recently moved into our new K. Hovnanian Home! I want to give a big thanks to my construction managers Cary and Nomluis for really providing top notch service.

Katrina was very helpful in sucuring the purchase our new home. She kept us informed of what was happening with the build and she made sure to follow up on any needs that we had after moving in. Katrina also introduced us to the building manager, Cary, whom kept us informed of the building process on a weekly bases. Cary was promoted and Nomo took over on the final process of the building of our home. Cary and Nomo have been there for any problems that have occurred before and after the move in. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is purchasing a new home.

KHOV has been great! The quality of build is superb and the follow up with the builder is amazing. I’d highly recommend buying or building a KHOV home to anyone looking.

Nice and easy fast

Appliance are not the good quality that many will prefer. And tell your builder to stop promising and fail. Home is all about trust. One should be able to trust the builder of his home!!!

From the very beginning Lois showed us model homes she has been very sweet and very resourceful and when we starting building the project manager George was always so helpful and reliable with us, couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with

This is my first time buying a home, I must say, it is remarkably great with khov. They help me understand each of the processes. When we moved into the home we have some things that were not working, the builder Paul was just a phone call away and he makes sure all was taken care of within a short time. They gave incentives when we are about to close.

Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful, and responsive. I was shocked at how easily this all went down.
