My experience with this builder was GREAT!!! from start to finish. Nicole was my sales agent, whom I meet years ago when I first discovered this builder and would drop by a community every once in a while to look at houses, with this being my very first home purchase she was very understanding and very helpful throughout the entire process, Susan would always answer any questions I had if Nicole was not working that day. My construction associate was John and he was also the best!! He explained everything every step of the way, even though I went to the site everyday, he kept me updated with pictures and timelines. Gary and Sarah are some of the best human beings on this planet. They helped me on this scary journey and treated me like family. I went on this journey alone and I was very scared about building as a single girl. My process was easy, unexpectedly fun and everything was explained so throughly. Loved my experience.

I loved my experience from the time I stepped foot in the K Hovnanian office to the day I got my keys to my house! Brenda has been extremely helpful in my first home buying/building experience and Charlie led me through everything I need to know about my house. They both kept me in the loop and prepared me for everything I needed to know!

They are very friendly

We have never had experienced anything like that before from people who are supposed to be professionals and to whom we were paying money. Not only KHov team caused a 2-week delay in closing and tried to make us pay the delay penalty they put in the contract, but then blamed it on our lender and the title company. We had to move to a storage space for a week. On top of that once all the paperwork was finally ready, they wouldn't accommodate us with the date of signing, so we had to pay for a hotel to make it to the early morning signing. To this day we haven't heard a word of apology. We only hope that KHov builder's have better standards than their selling teams... ... More

Everything was great . Until we move in we started to see same bad workmen ship.

Attentiveness and care from sales consultants to construction managers.

Probably the worst thing about our house is the absolute lack of craftsmanship but, when you sub out to the lowest bidder that is certainly what you get. There are way too many things to list on this review. KHOV uses very cheap materials in there homes one of which is MDF in lieu of pine. One of the worst places you can use this product is on window sills where moisture is very likely to be present year round due to condensation. MDF is notorious for drawing in moisture so in my opinion, a poor substitute for pine. Various examples of poor quality stem from open wood joints in trim molding, stair railing, missing quarter molding around the base of the stairs, several windows sills not rounded in the front, communication wires left hanging on the exterior of the house instead of being placed in an all weather enclosure and having to grade the back yard myself when I was promised a “trunk load” and dirt and give maybe a wheel barrow. I ended having to buy additional dirt to fill in around the utility pedestals and several other areas in the back portion of the lot as they did not drain but merely created large pools of water when it rained. Karen was my sales agent. She is fantastic! Can’t say enough about the personable experience she created. The weekly progress photos were the best. The building manager, Matt gave weekly progress updates via text! I never had to inquire about the building stages. Great overall experience. Love Karen and Matt.

Francisco is a constant professional. It is a pleasure being his peer and colleague.

Overall a very nice home. But the contractors that were used were complete trash. There are several issues with the home still that I’ve asked to be fixed even before closing that still have yet to be fixed. Brick issues, drywall issues, paint. The urgency to get these issues fixed is close to none. Am I overall happy with the home? Yes. Would I buy from Khov again? I don’t think so.

Get an inspection from an unbiased 3rd party and don't sign a single paper to close until all items are cleared and re inspected.

I'm a first time home buyer. Travis and Bendra made the whole experience pleasant. They were both attentive, responsive and professional. Couldn't have asked for more from KHov.

Cooperate is awful. The office was terrible with customer service.,, Construction Manager was all that was helpful through the entire process.

Our construction manager, Charlie, was exceptional. He was experienced, kept us informed throughout the entire process and followed up with us on any and all issues. He made the home building experience less stressful!

First time home owner there was probably a lot of questions we didn't ask but they helped us and guided us along the way everything was as they said and got it done as painless as buying a home could be. Would recommend to friends and family.
