Katrina Brownlee is the best sales manager. She has been exceptionally outstanding with customer service and professionalism. She helped us through the entire process.

We felt on our walk through was rushed. and then we felt the house wasn't cleaned as well as we thought it should be upon move in. Couple of issues we noted on walk through were brushed off. (for example...".Oh just put some cleaner on that"...) We did eventually get things taken care of but not until after we made a list and it was fixed through warranty.. But it really shouldn't have been done that way. We do like our home....

Amanda is amazing and helpful

The sales team is very attentive and easy to work with despite the various moving pieces. The neighborhood is super quiet which is a huge plus as it’s filled with mature and responsible working professionals. Overall home is good but the very small backyard is taking some time to get used to. I would have been ok with a smaller footprint for more backyard.

Truly an awesome experience from start to finish

Working with K. Hovanian staff was a living nightmare. I was lied to throughout the entire process. Several people dropped the ball on K. Hovanian’s end which jeopardized my home purchase more than once throughout the process. I was repeatedly given the run around and told things that were false. They made several mistakes in my application and then tried to make me bring extra money to the table. When they gave additional incentives to make up for their mistakes they then continued to throw the incentives they were giving me in my face saying things like”we are bending over backwards to help you”. No, you are bending over backwards because I’m holding you accountable and making you fix the mistakes YOU made and the misinformation K HOVANIAN staff provided. The house itself is beautiful and I love it, but I would not buy from them again and will be sure to tell everyone I know not to. This was not my first home purchase, so I understand the process. It does not have to be as stressful and difficult as K Hov made it. They repeatedly tried to take advantage of me and thankfully my realtor had my back. It’s not worth the stress. I literally lost weight from the stress. Even when closing came, they lied and said I could close on 3 different occasions when the house was not actually complete and move in ready. The KHovnanian team went out of their way to help us through the process. After our purchase they stayed in contact with us and was on top of any concerns. Would recommend this Builder highly.

Both Kade and Lisa were very helpful throughout our building process and always addressed our questions promptly. Both are great assets to KHov.

The contractors use low quality products to save a buck. This has proven to cause several problems and continues to cause more. The quality of doors are subpar, electrical outlets, switches are being swapped out as well. The trim crew through things together and doesn't match up seems etc. The doors have flaws and are never installed evenly so they look twisted etc. Even the yard has issues and I've been trying for 2 months to get it corrected. If I could do it again I wouldn't buy from them but I'm I did so ill keep pushing to get things corrected best I can.

The sales team made me feel like family. The sales person Rod was so gracious and nice. It made feel so comfortable in my home buying experience. There was no pressure or stress. Thank you K HOVANIAN for your excellent sales team especially Rod. Thanks again for being so wonderful.

Grading around home is deficient and water accumulation especially on right side, one kitchen cabinet different from others and bad irrigation system is corroded and not functioning

My superintendent Jeremy was amazing he answered all my questions and any problems i have had he resolve my issue right away.

I THINK THE HOME DESIGN NEEDS SOME "WORK". EXAMPLE -- THE FAUCETS IN BATHROOMS ARE TOO SMALL (they can't be easily cleaned because the handles are way to close to the faucets.) THE CLOSET SHELVES ARE WAY TOO HIGH (a "normal" height woman can't reach them without a step ladder.) THE DISPOSAL SWITCH SHOULD BE RELOCATED TO THE TOP OF COUNTER (currently it's under the kitchen sink...very awkward.) Sorry, This is the best review I can give you.

Its been great experience purchasing home with KHOV builder. Everyone from Sales rep (Katrina) to construction manager (Jorge) were great to work and answered any questions or queries. Also closing was done without hassles. Great experience!

Distinct lack of transparency when it came to final numbers for mortgage. Specifically mislead or omitted HOA payment increases scheduled but not disclosed. Back yard has tremendous amounts of construction debris that was never removed. I.e. brick concrete shingle parts Left with dead landscaping and trees that were incorrectly planted in front yard.

Lisa made the buying experience so great and Kade made the building process effortless.

Overall this was a great experience with all parties involved. Only critique I would suggest is response time to customer issues with their home.

In general, it was a good experience, an efficient process. The overall finishes of the house are good, and the promptness in responding to warranty requests has been timely.

The buying experience was easy. Using the online portal to upload documents and sign documents was convenient for my family. I would like to highlight to response time to any issues we have had. The building crews work well with scheduling any repairs quickly.

All employees of K Hovanian Homes were respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. Our home building-buying process was not the least bit stressful. We were kept well informed of each process Delightful people to deal with.

We loved our salesman, James who was extremely helpful in what came with the home to taken the time out to show us the build. Christian was very knowledgeable and went over everything with us and provided thorough updates on the progression of the build. Overall we are extremely happy!!

House has a great layout. Material used for doors is really bad. No quality inspections were done by builder otherwise they would have noticed some obvious issues in the doors and walls. Once warranty claims were issued, took forever to address the issues. There has at least 3 different people that I have explained the warranty issues. With the price paid for the house you can expect better quality material and a better response to warranty claims.

We had a pretty nice experience throughout the home buying process, from the initial earnest payment, to the design choices, all the way to the final closing day. The people we interacted with throughout the process were very professional and knowledgeable about their respective work. The construction process however could be improved a little to be really great for the home buyer. For instance, our first builder representative resigned close to house completion, and although our second builder was great at picking up where the first builder left off (and even now still helps us with any issues the house has), it would've been great to stick with the same person the whole way through. The workmanship wasn't perfect, and we still found items that needed fixing even after closing, most of them were fairly minor (paint touch-up, missing caulking, etc.). But overall the main and important items such as insulation, electrical, plumbing, structure were constructed well and so far there hasn't been any problems after living in the house for a few months now. Overall our experience with both builder reps were excellent and helpful with getting any questions we had answered, or would at least get back to us with any questions they couldn't answer. We do believe that for the price we paid, the quality could've been a little better. The saving grace is the warranty that comes with the house so at least any issues found post-closing could be addressed through the warranty. In all, the overall experience was great. Just be sure to ask your builder rep as many questions as you can and don't be shy to voice something that you don't like, even if it's something minor. And if you're in a situation where construction is getting rushed right before closing day, be especially diligent with searching for any areas the building crew may have rushed through.
