We loved our salesman, James who was extremely helpful in what came with the home to taken the time out to show us the build. Christian was very knowledgeable and went over everything with us and provided thorough updates on the progression of the build. Overall we are extremely happy!!

House has a great layout. Material used for doors is really bad. No quality inspections were done by builder otherwise they would have noticed some obvious issues in the doors and walls. Once warranty claims were issued, took forever to address the issues. There has at least 3 different people that I have explained the warranty issues. With the price paid for the house you can expect better quality material and a better response to warranty claims.

We had a pretty nice experience throughout the home buying process, from the initial earnest payment, to the design choices, all the way to the final closing day. The people we interacted with throughout the process were very professional and knowledgeable about their respective work. The construction process however could be improved a little to be really great for the home buyer. For instance, our first builder representative resigned close to house completion, and although our second builder was great at picking up where the first builder left off (and even now still helps us with any issues the house has), it would've been great to stick with the same person the whole way through. The workmanship wasn't perfect, and we still found items that needed fixing even after closing, most of them were fairly minor (paint touch-up, missing caulking, etc.). But overall the main and important items such as insulation, electrical, plumbing, structure were constructed well and so far there hasn't been any problems after living in the house for a few months now. Overall our experience with both builder reps were excellent and helpful with getting any questions we had answered, or would at least get back to us with any questions they couldn't answer. We do believe that for the price we paid, the quality could've been a little better. The saving grace is the warranty that comes with the house so at least any issues found post-closing could be addressed through the warranty. In all, the overall experience was great. Just be sure to ask your builder rep as many questions as you can and don't be shy to voice something that you don't like, even if it's something minor. And if you're in a situation where construction is getting rushed right before closing day, be especially diligent with searching for any areas the building crew may have rushed through. From the start Alyse ask what price and floor plan was the desire of our hearts. As we were picking out what we wanted/ must haves in the home she suggested we just go with our wants and at the end of all the choices, she tallied up the price. We were within $2000. If was great that we could get all that we wanted in this new home. She spent plenty of time with us and left the decisions up to us and at no point try to pressure us. We were in our last home for 27 years and even though it was tough to leave those memories behind it is great to start new one's in our beautiful new home. Nick our contractor for the building of our new home, walked us through the process of what we could expect. He provided weekly updates as well as meeting and covering items on the as needed basis. He would listen to questions from my wife and made sure she understood his response so she had a clear picture of the way forward. Alyse and Nick both went above and beyond what I would consider their normal job duties to keep us informed and make us feel like "family" from the start of building what we consider our forever home. Very disappointed in the workmanship of our new home. It is a beautiful home with a beautiful layout but the repairs have been non stop since we moved in making it very hard to enjoy. If they just made sure things were done correct the first time it would make the experience more enjoyable.

Since purchasing the home, I have experienced so many issues. I was told by the contractor (Nomo) to contact him for any issues. He has been extremely slow with responses and completely incompetent in resolving any issue since purchasing the home. There is no communication whatsoever. I have purchased homes from multiple builders and have never been this unsatisfied. The home buying experience has been so bad and I regret buying a home from K. Hovnanian. I have escalated issues to Nomo’s boss, Gary, and it too has resulted in delays with getting important issues resolved. The post purchase support with K. Hovnanian is completely inadequate. Bad company, does poor work and uses cheap materials yet charges alot for their homes, so disappointed I ever bought a home from this company

Overall, things seem okay as we begin to live in our home. I see quality issues on on some things such as fencing, the shape our grass was in when we moved in (dead), and the wash out of the dirt in our yard after a big storm that wasn't replaced before putting in the grass. Unhappy with the fact that the bathrooms don't have a medicine cabinet or towel holders. Something new homeowners shouldn't have to worry about installing or ordering. After moving in and starting to put away things in the kitchen cabinets, I noticed they are not normal sized cabinets as far as width. I cook a lot and I have no space for my larger pots and pans. It's a problem. And lastly, there are no cabinets in the laundry room. One set above the washer would be relatively inexpensive, but be very beneficial to homeowners to hideaway laundry items. ... The salesman I was unfortunately doing business with made used car salesmen look like paragons of virtue and truth. Nothing and I mean NOTHING this conman said was even remotely connected to the truth. Maybe this is what K Hov wants in its sales force to get inventory moved by hook or crook but I can't imagine this type of behavior will not come without severe loss of reputation. This is supposed to be a highlight to one's life but my experience was anything but. If i could have given less than zero on trustworthiness I absolutely would have done so.

After leaving military service, my wife and I wanted to move back home to Texas from our last duty stations. We bought a new construction home as a forever home which now we cannot wait to leave. The sales(buying) experience was terrible. This is not our first home so we knew how things should go. K. Hovnanian will pressure you and give you zero time to consider their offers. I wasn't even sure I had a solid job offer (wife got her job first) and the offer they gave us on a Saturday night was only valid through Sunday, I begged them to give me until noon Monday so I could confirm employment. They said no. They will pressure you into their mortgage broker, and ask for all pertinent documents last second. We were on the road traveling from the east coast, we told them weeks ahead of time when we were moving so make sure all the documents were received before then. They called us on the road demanding we give them whatever document or else they couldn't promise we could move in when we agreed. They will also sell your mortgage within a week of your purchase so don't expect to deal with them long term for your mortgage. They also will not be present at closing and will not give the keys to the broker. You will sign for your home and not have access to it until they are available to give you YOUR keys. Then the construction. Every single door in our house has damage on it. Many of them did not sit square before any of the settling occurred. Knicks, cuts, dings in the drywall prior to our move in. Many of the light switches are wired backwards which I will now have to go behind them and fix. The floors were dirty, the whole interior was covered with sawdust, grout dust, and whatever else. Many places on our floor were over grouted, our tiles in the kitchen and bathroom had huge grout gaps and were not set flush. So many things in our house are off square that it is glaringly annoying. When they come to fix issues, they will do it in a way that causes another problem. Example: the office French doors were so far off square the one door did not sit in the other. So they came to fix it. All he did was loosen one screw on the strike plate and lower the plate slightly. Now the door drags the other door when you open or close because the wood contacts the bottom of the plate. But hey, at least it doesn't just push open! K. Hovnanian does not care if the product you receive is worth the money you pay. Our old home was 25 years old when we bought it 11 years ago and it had less issues than this 2023 new construction. I could give you dozens of reasons to stay away from a K. Hovnanian construction, but no one has the time to read a Charles Dickens novel on the internet. This is our second K. Hov home and we love it! The location, lot, floor plan and nature experience was outstanding! Lisa Marti is incredible to work with and truly knows the ends and outs. Kade the builder is knowledgeable and honestly like family at this point. He makes sure everything is up to par and beyond. The personal attention and willingness to exceed expectations is unmatched! Highly recommend.

Overall a pleasant experience. We had some concerns or issues arise but the Builder was quick in their response to correct.

The process was good. Just be sure to express your concerns and follow through with them. We’re thankful for an amazing realtor and great sales team that helped pull the weight of the construction team.

As a first time home buyer i must say overall experience was extremely smooth. Everything when well. Everyone from the sale agent, Loan manager and builder manager was very helpful.

They were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new home.

Damaris our salesperson was very nice and responsive to our needs. Helpful all the way to closing. Mauricio our building manager and his team were very professional and skilled. They went out of their way to help with all the little details. The house is rock solid w no issues.

Our entire experience from starting to look to now 3 months in our new home has been awesome. The sales process, design center selecting, and closing were painless and quick. We've had a few minor items that needed attention after move in; emailed warranty and trades were out the next day making everything right. Overall we are very happy with our new home purchase.
