Great Experience at Heritage Ranch Villas – Sherman, TX My wife and I love our K. Hovnanian® home at Heritage Ranch Villas in Sherman, TX. From the sales force to our walk-through with Zack, everything was pretty much flawless. The warranty department has been extremely helpful with anything we’ve asked for. There are a few finishes that I think could have been done better, but overall we absolutely love our home and believe the warranty team will continue to address anything that may come up moving forward. We found our home when all of the design selections had been made and the home was substantially finished. Chad was and continues to be absolutely amazing. Our “blue tape” walk through and final walk through went great and all issues were addressed.

We had issues that caused warranty to get involved. We were greatly inconvenienced by a mistake that someone made when building our home. For the first 3 months of living in our brand new home we had basically a construction zone. There is still things that look patchy and rough but we are told that isn’t covered under warranty and there is nothing that can be done. We are tired of trying and are giving up hope that they will do anything to make it right. Any time we ask a question about something they never have the answer and say they will get back to us but then we have to follow up. We had to have family travel from out of town to be at our house during their repairs since they were unable to come outside of our working hours. It is the worst investment I've made

I wasn't in the market for a home. I really thought I'd find a house to rent for me and my fur babies. Once I came out to the Rolling Ridge subdivision and met Kyle all of that changed. He was phenomenal to work with and really took an interest in making sure I picked the right home and understood the process. From the walk-throughs and finance, everything about KHOV was 1000% phenomenal. I have recommended them to countless people and tell them what a great experience I've had. The craftsmanship of the home is bar-none.

I am so happy with my home and service after the sale!!! I would recommend them over and over again to my friends!

Purchase was quick and smooth. Communication has been great. Builder had responded promptly to warranty request. Overall, one of my best home purchases experiences.

The people on site are very attentive to questions and needs. We have felt very taken care of. Thank you for making the experience so positive.

Excellent service and response times

The starting part went great, Kristina was awesome and responsive. Carson was great too! First walk through went well, the second walk through we noticed some things needed to still be done. Closing was great. After 1 night in my house, I started having problems with the light/fans in both rooms. Which has been an ongoing issue still. Also had an insect issue from the first day, they were coming in from areas that were not fully chalked. Thought Laurie from warranty has been helping with the lights, I wished the lights would not have been an issue.

Generally responsiveness to issues is great but recently our garage door has been malfunctioning and it’s been a few weeks and still no one has come to address it and we have to reach out several times. We get unsatisfactory replies and no follow through with the warranty person. Lastly the entrance to our community has dead landscaping which doesn’t set the right tone for our subdivision. We have mentioned this as well with no addressing of the issue.

My experience with KHov was great. They where fast and very trustworthy. Will get my pre 1 year inspection in soon but as of now no issues with he home in any way!

Things took a little longer than hoped due to supply issues and turnover, but Kristina kept us in the loop the whole way. The home is perfect... Zero complaints!

Besides the building part of our home, we had emails ignored by the sales representative, we definitely feel like we were lied to about progress materials sat in home for weeks on end with no one working on it. Once we signed it was like we didn't matter anymore. There were 4 different build supers that got replaced during the build. Bad workmanship and complete mismanagement. Usually someone worked on our home 1-2 days a week a times. Our closing day when we signed all the documents, we didn't even get keys to the home. The woman was not very professional. Seemed like she did not like her job. We would like someone in the upper management to reply or respond to address our experience so this can be fixed so no one else needs to go through what we endured. ... More

Would will never buy a model home again or deal with this builder ever again. Worst experience yet to have to put me and my family through that was coming from California.

Building shortages caused us to change a few things but overall the house was completed and we love it! Few thing here and there but the warranty department has been on top of it.

Our experience had a lot of issues. We had four different builders during the build process. This was confusing and created issues with the quality of the home and communication. During the building process we sent in emails about issues we saw. Many were never answered. The "original" builder told us in the beginning that our gas meter would be next to all the other meters on the garage side. When we asked the third builder, why this wasn't the case he said "We never know which side of the house the gas meter will be placed." Now we cannot add a whole home natural gas generator. We understood some issue because it was 2021, i.e. weather ,product delays, and contractor shortages. The real problem was communication and clarity. This was hard with the turnover of builders. We understand that the completion date was delayed three separate times. Now, in the home for a month, an issue we sent in pictures of in August was not taken care of creating a major water leak issue. We still do not have complete use of our owner suite bathroom and our owner suite bedroom because it is housing fixtures for the bathroom. Our new microwave broke before Thanksgiving or under 2 weeks living in the home. We still don't have that repaired. We are waiting on parts since the technicians don't have anything on hand to repair the unit. Our sales person was top notch and kept us as up to date as she could. She always responded when called or messaged. Unfortunately, she couldn't share information she didn't know about timing and delays during the build process. ... More

I've had a better time at a used car lot... Total took advantage of the market, they know we basically had no other option. Warranty department has been great, However none of these issues should have gotten that far

It was a great experience

There were a few hiccups, some due to weather and supply issues, the others were due to poor management during the build process. Overall we are happy with the product and would recommend KHov to any of our friends.

Though home took 2 additional months to close, it was understandable based on market and material conditions. Very happy with our home and the sales and service teams.

Build quality was excellent.

The KHOV team from day 1 was great to work with. This was my first home purchase and from the sales team to builders, all was covered and explained very well. Thank you KHOV for making our dream come true! =)
