Sales people and on site construction supervisors were professional and responsive. Finance personnel were were not always professional and somewhat none responsive. Overall good experience.

We hear loud noises walking on the upper condo which is unbearable. Floor should have better noise reduction system.

Good overall. Everything is good quality, just some things a little rushed, but they're responsive with the fixing. Only downside is the price, as it is everywhere. Overall 4/5. Free upgrades I think it deserves for the price: installed smart thermostat, smart doorbell (so it's easy to replace), and at least one HVAC vent in the loft, since it's quite the pricy upgrade and it gets VERY hot in the summer, and VERY cold in the winter. My AC unit unfortunately doesn't heat/cool at the moment, so I might be extra bias on that one.

The surrounding residential area is quite quiet, and as a residential area, there are many convenient facilities, which is quite nice.

Overall experience was okay the sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the construction personnel tried their best and were responsive to problems

Loan process was very good. First time I’ve seen flat paint in kitchen and bathrooms, usually semi-gloss. Just a few towel racks.

Great service but unfortunately the final touches in my house were subpar. The painting was ridiculous. I will be needing to paint the house again. If they can improve on quality inspection before handing the keys over then that would be great!

I’m coming across many surfaces that aren’t level (fireplace mantle) or square (some walls and corners). I would have fought harder for a wider driveway and extra paved parking area. I had an issue with an exterior floodlight that never worked, turned out it was the bulbs. Something I feel should have been checked in their quality inspections. I discovered water dripping from the first floor to the ceiling. Turned out the refrigerator water line was not connected properly and the connecting nut was only finger tightened. Waiting for home owner services to come out and inspect for any damages. Drainage in my yard is horrible. Every time it rains, I end up with a large swampy area in my back yard. They had to rush towards the end to meet a closing deadline. Biggest help throughout was the on-site construction manager Blue. She is amazing and extremely helpful. ... More

The house is our dream but due to bad grading in the back, we have a swamp like area. After several weeks of back and forth with the builder, we had to get the city inspector to cease occupancy permits for the remainder of the development before they would entertain correcting the grading. It has been a month now since they had stated they were going to fix the issue but still haven't started the work. They also haven't fixed the chip in the bathroom counter that happened before home inspection.

Overall good. Just had issue with what I thought I was getting, and it ended up being totally different. The issue was resolved but only because we were consistent in what we expected.

Love the home. Beautiful modern design even though a little expensive for the area. Service has been good in general to issues after I moved in but builder is unwilling to address issues with sod as its not covered by warranty. Bough my last house from Toll Brothers and they changed half the sod in my lawn as it became a little yellow. Expected more from K Hovnanian as I paid twice as much for this home.

Too soon to evaluate the quality of materials. Only been here three months. We are concerned that much of the structure of the latest building being built needed to be torn down and is scheduled to be redone.

The sales process was handled by Russell very well with weekly photos of the building progress. The closing process went OK. The Builder did not have the county permit on the day we closed therefore we could not get our keys to our new home. The Builder also failed to provide proper documentation to the Post Office to validate all the new addresses at this location. We are still having problems with companies unable to update our new address in their systems. Our address is NOT in the US Postal Service data base. The condo is what we expected. Overall we had a good and professional experience however an incident occurred that delayed the closing that we were never in the loop off.

It took 2 months longer to close that we anticipated.

Good experience overall, but somewhat major items were missed such as 2 ceiling fan rough-ins. Getting issues resolved after move in is slow.

Overall was a good experience. At our unit the the builder did not get high quality materials. All the doors are unpainted ,also some walls find unpainted.

This is my 6th home. I have to say Richmond home builders gave me more value for the money. little things like larger entry doors, lights over every shower, trim around every window, blinds included with the purchase. more flexibility with requests. Everyone I worked with was professional and did the function they were assigned. I will say that Karie in the mortgage section spent some quality time with me and i appreciate her for that. The reason my overall rating is not top notch is all but one of the issues that were on the punch list from closing are still not completed. I have spend 6 weeks waiting for the contractors to show up. Schedules and been made for the last 5 weeks and every week no one has showed up. I have spoken with the Warranty section every week with the understanding that i would be contacted back. That did not happen. The last call I made the warranty section gave me the direct numbers so I could the contractors myself. I did spoke with them and was told again that i would be hearing back. Again nothing. The drywall finishing inside the house looks good…but on the garage it is the worst I have ever seen. It would be better to not do anything, like for me that I choose finish the garage would be way better.

Good buying experience with KHOV.

Less than 3 months moving into my new house, we have found a few issues. The newest one is a big crack on the ceiling above my living room. Another one is screw coming loose from a corner of my living room, and cabinets didn’t get glued in the first place.
