The house is our dream but due to bad grading in the back, we have a swamp like area. After several weeks of back and forth with the builder, we had to get the city inspector to cease occupancy permits for the remainder of the development before they would entertain correcting the grading. It has been a month now since they had stated they were going to fix the issue but still haven't started the work. They also haven't fixed the chip in the bathroom counter that happened before home inspection.

Let me start off by saying the sales process in the beginning was fantastic. K. Hov had a fantastic sales representative that really took care of us and made us feel like part of the family. The whole process was great. We got to see our house every step of the way being built. They let us walk through whenever we wanted with very short notice. It was very transparent very the day we went to look at our dream house/lot. At the end of the process is when it became a real show. Our closing was delayed due to permitting issues with the city. We finally got to sign, almost a month after our original move in date to only find out an easement was added to our back yard which only allows us to use 50% of the back yard because of drainage concerns and incorrect grading by K. Hov on the lot. One week into our new home, the entire finished basement flooded with community sewage. It was found by the city that a builder had blocked the main sewer line with concrete and construction debris. Again, K. Hov quality control person was very responsive and worked through the pandemic very well to keep us updated with when they were coming to repair the basement damage. They sent someone out to clean within a couple hours, the plumber was contacted within an hour and the city showed up within ten minutes of the flood. The employees of K. Hov definitely deserve better management from the top. When I contacted K. Hov president to express my displeasure, he didn't seem to care. He wanted me to go through my homeowners insurance when it was clearly their fault. I threatened to sue and he told me to go ahead. Very rude. I expressed my concern about buying our dream home and not being able to use the yard and he said thats something you should have looked into before signing the papers. The employees should go work for a company who cares. We have been fighting with the builder and the city now for almost three months to get the drainage issue in the back resolved before the basement ends up flooding again. Everyone throughout the experience was kind and helpful and continues to be even after I’ve been living here for a month. I love my home and I know I will be happy here for a very long time.

I am very happy with the process and outcome of this whole experience. My house is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The only issue I have is the water pressure. It is not as strong as it should be. Was told to go to the County to get this reconciled.

The company lied to us about drainage issues on the property from Day one and created a false appraisal of the new home, cheating out and lying to federal regulators.

The process of buying the house was very smooth. Extremely Satisfied with the house. Visits to the design center were helpful in making our decisions as to what we wanted in our first house. Sales and Construction teams were on top of everything. They were able to update us about the status of the house even during the pandemic. Initial and final inspection were very thorough. Delivery timeline was accurate. The house came out just the way we wanted.

We bought a new home with my daughter. It was her first home buying experience. The sales and selection process was very well handled by the Sales Manager, Richard and Design Consultant, Pia. James, the superintendent/builder was outstanding. The home was beautifully built and the couple of minor items were corrected prior to closing. He was very patient demonstrating the function of the home and systems. High quality, great experience from contract signing to closing.

The team was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and responsive.

Sale center, design center, construction manager were all amazing and accommodating people. Pleasurable experience, too bad I can't buy another. 10/10 would recommend again.

Everyone was super helpful and when there were a few issues they jumped right on it. I would like to give a shout out to Beth and Orlando for always being on top of things.

Our sales guy was so responsive and communicative every step of the way he really helped make us comfortable with this whole thing. Our build site manager is the sweetest guy on the planet you can really tell he just interested in making a quality home for the customers that they are happy with and will go above and beyond to make sure they're happy.

Disappointed in some buying experiences with KHOV. But overall we rate it a 4 star.

We had a few hiccups with the selection process. Be sure to be clear about what you want during this process and follow up on whether or not it is being implemented during the building process. Overall we were extremely pleased with the outcome of our home. Aside from the nails in the carpet that were not nailed down properly, we didn't have many complaints.

Khov staff are very professional and caring. The homes are excellent quality. I was kept informed throughout the process. The main sales office staff are wonderful people. They are highly flexible and easy to get to know our wants and needs. The Construction Manager goes above and beyond just to make things right and very accommodating. They give us a heads up on what to expect now and later and what the final product will eventually look like so we're not emotionally exhausted in the process. It's a very comforting and exciting experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new construction home. The best part is meeting them and seeing their happy smiley faces knowing they're going to make you happy too. ... More
