This was my first time purchasing a home. I was nervous because people told me horrible experiences that made me scared. My experience was completely opposite, just amazing. I really appreciate, Tara, David, and Todd from Leeland station. They made my experience the absolute best, and i couldn’t be happier.

My first contact with the company was Crystal. She made things easier than it actually is ....which really made the difference. She gave us hope when we thought there was no hope...She gave us the impression "you can do this" and sure we did. She was our first rock and source of inspiration. Without putting full names out there, Ava, Lisa our loan processors, and Alex my builder who put the pieces together to give us this astounding architecture that we now proudly call "our Home". Our home was ready before the stipulated time....yes ..it was built that fast ....it was almost like a magic. We could not thank K.H.H enough. We had some high expectations on our purchase of this home, but it was met with poor execution, poor supervision on the trade labor, and poor follow up to correct issues. This wasn't all bad, but if you are buying from this group, then make sure you have the ability to watch each step of the process closely as you will quickly get frustrated with the execution if it's not supervised properly. If executed correctly, it could be a wonderful home.

We had never heard of KHov prior to our purchase but I can't imagine any other builder treating us better. The first time my wife and I met Gene, he made is feel totally comfortable and was able to give us details about any of the builds, finishes, and even mortgage advice. Super knowledgeable and he really made us feel like family. Like we weren't just buying a house- we were building our forever home. The entire experience with Gene continued until the day we closed on our home. Even though he had left to a different development, he even came to our closing walk through and was there for every single question along the way. Same with the builder, Blue. She does amazing work and was so down to earth with my wife and I. She always gave us a straight answer and was always a delight to talk with. Even the design center was a breeze. Not once did anyone try to upsell anything, or convince us to go with something more/less expensive. Building a home can be scary and incredibly stressful but I would do it again in a heartbeat because of how amazing the team my wife and I worked with at KHov were. Even now that we've moved in we have easy access to Blue and even Shawn who deals with home warranties. I never once felt out of the loop in the process of building my home, which is exactly the way it should be. ... More

Good experience.

The home seems built well, but during the sales process, the sales agent was horrible about getting back to us with answers to questions or when we needed to make changes. The home seems to be built well, and through the process the construction manager was pretty good. But we've had a couple issues (mostly completely dead sod and plants right at settlement) and these things still aren't resolved. I keep getting told they'll be done, but it's been over a month and nothing has been done. Followed up a few times and I just get long winded explanations and excuses.

the quality of materials and workmanship seem to be above grade, and helps to provide the value I paid for. khov personnel from sales to completion (Tara,David,Todd) are great, they help with any issue that came up and establish the trustworthiness of my new khov home. therefore I would highly recommend K.Hovnanian Homes to everyone.

quality and finish of house is not as expected

I was very happy with the building and sales process from beginning to the end. I wasn’t happy with Kham at all.

Good product, meets all my needs at this point in my life

Pricey, pushy sales people, but great overall product in the end.

I must express gratitude on behalf of my family for all the assistance given to us in purchasing our new K. Hovnanian Home. Our sales representative Sylvia and Project Manager Robert were thorough professional and went out of their way to make our experience great. They were prompt, attentive and very very helpful throughout the process. Our home loan processors were fantastic as well. I was bit disappointed that we had to pay higher mortgage rate than market. The process of homeloan should be more competitive and the incentives given should not be used as a leverage to charge higher interest rates. I hope this helps. ... More
