Beautiful new home...but then they do a SLOPPY job on the garage..particularly the steps leading into the house. It looks like they just slapped something together. So too with the guys laying the sod --not very prideful of their work. We had issues with he MBR shower and the wall in our bedroom, part of which needs to be ripped out because of buckled seams. But all in all, we are very satisfied, The construction supervisor has been particularly helpful and very responsive. Excellent customer relations skills! So is the KHov customer service rep who is helping us address the two major issues mentioned above. There are sure to be problems with any new build. The home buying process with K. Hovnanian was a great experience from start to finish. The best part about the process was receiving those weekly email updates about every step that was going on with your home, this was definitely a plus especially if you couldn’t be there to see the process.

I am very happy with the process and outcome of this whole experience. My house is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The only issue I have is the water pressure. It is not as strong as it should be. Was told to go to the County to get this reconciled.

Generally, a good experience. Building project manager and co-worker very responsive to questions and providing answers to questions. Having to travel from Fredericksburg, VA to Chantilly, VA to select specifice items for inside the house was not pleasant, and would have been more convenient if the same service were provided closer to the new community home site.

Builder was excellent to work with especially after we moved in to our home.

Love our house and the community. Property managers are very responsive and helpful with any issue, such as window was recently replaced and the coordination and communication is excellent.

Overall it was a good experience. For the Price of the home, not completing the mudroom bench the full 90" and not completing the wet-bar in the basement is a shame.

More attention to details would improve the experience
