K-Hovnanian builders made buying a dream home easy, enjoyable, and exciting. Excellent builders and excellent team made the process a smooth transition.

Michael was amazing in helping me and walking me through all the options, being patient with showing me the homes, and being willing to be there throughout the decision making process. The construction manager Orlando was also amazing with hearing out any detailed requests and meeting expectations, and during the building, closing, and even after settling, he was very helpful in making sure things in the home were working out for me. Michael and Orlando showed that they care that I would have a home that I love.

We are blessed to have purchased our new K. Hovnanian (Khov) home despite the obvious risks and challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. There were positive changes made in the home buying process to ensure the safety and well-being of both the seller (Khov team) and the buyer. This is my first house and I am stunned with how beautiful it is. The house looks great and everyone we've worked with has been attentive and very helpful.

I like the attention they gave me when i purchased my home

I’m coming across many surfaces that aren’t level (fireplace mantle) or square (some walls and corners). I would have fought harder for a wider driveway and extra paved parking area. I had an issue with an exterior floodlight that never worked, turned out it was the bulbs. Something I feel should have been checked in their quality inspections. I discovered water dripping from the first floor to the ceiling. Turned out the refrigerator water line was not connected properly and the connecting nut was only finger tightened. Waiting for home owner services to come out and inspect for any damages. Drainage in my yard is horrible. Every time it rains, I end up with a large swampy area in my back yard. They had to rush towards the end to meet a closing deadline. Biggest help throughout was the on-site construction manager Blue. She is amazing and extremely helpful. ... More

Great first time home buyer experience with a great builder!

The process was made seamless with the help of the sales staff working in conjunction with the builder and the mortgage company. The continuous follow up, along with educating us on every step of the process was excellent.

Very beautiful home, Worth the wait

I had a wonderful process from the beginning. Every meeting to show progress of the house was scheduled in advance and I received a stellar walkthrough each time. Since I’ve been in the property I’ve not come across any issues and everything looks great. The home is beautiful and has all the characteristics my family desires. Overall I’m very happy with our K. Hovnanian home and will recommend them to others.

Orlando was especially attentive and thorough which made our experience that much more pleasant.

The builder met each milestones in the construction process. Builder informed us of any delays and was able to make the lost time to complete the house on time. On few occasions, we had to follow-up with the builder.

We had a smooth home buying experience. No major issues and all employees were professional and friendly.

Great team with this builder, had a great experience from start to finish, considering Covid 19 they did an exceptional job.

Quality of Workmanship & Material. The build quality is extremely poor. K Hov uses the lowest bid subcontractors and it shows. Every aspect of our house from the driveway to the fireplace to our roof to our septic was built wrong the first time, if not the second time. Also, K Hov will do everything it can to hide issues and hope you don’t find them during the final walkthrough. Trustworthiness. Everything our broker and construction manager told us was a half-truth. Basically, they tell you want you want to hear as opposed to what is accurate. Value for the Price Paid. I think our home price was fair but we live in a Washington D.C. suburb where everything is overpriced. Responsiveness to Issues. They do respond to your issues, but everything is a fight. They do not freely address issues. I have been in our house for two months and have actual documentation of things done wrong and they are still trying to not fix them. I am a first time homebuyer and the K. Hov team made this experience awesome for me. They were patient, kind, and took the time to to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. I felt like I was take care of as if I was one of their family. The structure is great, the home is beautiful, and my home was completed ahead of schedule. I recommend K. Hovnanian Homes for the following reasons: (1) The employees are very professional, approachable and knowledgeable. And (2) they communicated with me on a regular basis and addressed all my questions and concerns. Specifically, the Sales Consultant, Becky, was always pleasant, very helpful and well versed in policies and procedures.
