Used K. Hov expecting a different experience from other builders in the past. But it was about the same. The sales team was amazing, but the construction of the home is my issue. The quality of materials are faulty and super inexpensive. For the cost of the home, I shouldn't of had to call the warranty manager to fix multiple issues within the first month of owning a brand new home. While the warranty manager is very responsive and professional. She definitely has job security especially when the construction workers are working at night with hard hat lights to build homes.

Great experience with builders. Always professional and walk us thru the entire process step by step.

We have been extremely pleased with the professionalism, prompt responsiveness, and overall attentiveness from everyone at K. Hovnanian, from the sales reps (Gene M. and Michael M.) to the onsite building staff (Dave L., Mike M.) and everyone we've encountered during our home purchase and move in.

I had a great experience with K Hov. From the sales team to the construction team and maintenance support team, each staff I interacted with provided exceptional services. As a first time home buyer, K Hov team helped me navigate the process with peace in mind. I also really love my new home and have enjoyed living in it.

For the price of the home. We expected the finished job to be of great quality, but it has not been. There have been one issue after another. The site manager Catricia has been great getting some things fixed, but this could have all been avoided if the workers took pride in their work. The loft floor is still a problem. The floor is noisy as if it is not in place. This is not acceptable for this type of house.

There was a lot of anxiety due to materials, building permits and other subcontractor delays. However, KHovnanian sales rep Russ kept me and my agent updated and encouraged me to stay the course. Once on track, project moved smoothly and at rapid pace. On my walkthrough I was pleased. My condo far exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad I was patient. I had such a great buying experience. The sales office representives Gene and Michael were great. Very professional, kind and well versed in knowing their jobs. Very good and caring towards the buyers that was completely genuine. I commend them both for making my experience great inspite of the time it took for my condo unit to be built.

Too soon to evaluate the quality of materials. Only been here three months. We are concerned that much of the structure of the latest building being built needed to be torn down and is scheduled to be redone.

I had a few issues when I moved it - scratched window, torn screen, off-kilter knobs, non-locking garage door, to name a few, and they were promptly dealt with.

Home buying went well home is mostly well designed, appliances are great. Have a few cosmetic issues, outside traffic noise is a little loud. Overall the property was worth purchasing.

The house was finished 2 months late and even after 2 walkthroughs with requests made for fixes we still managed to find 2 pages of things wrong with the house before we moved in. After moving in we have continued to find issues including nails sticking out of carpeting and the dryer not being hooked up properly. Overall a terrible experience.

The sales process was handled by Russell very well with weekly photos of the building progress. The closing process went OK. The Builder did not have the county permit on the day we closed therefore we could not get our keys to our new home. The Builder also failed to provide proper documentation to the Post Office to validate all the new addresses at this location. We are still having problems with companies unable to update our new address in their systems. Our address is NOT in the US Postal Service data base. The condo is what we expected. Though we have owned several homes this was our first brand new home. It was completed almost 6 weeks ahead of schedule which we were not really prepared for but the home turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, accompanying services were not ready. We did not receive mail service, garbage pick up, and internet/TV service for 2 months after closing. Living without these amenities proved challenging and sometimes frustrating. Service from the recommended title company, Eastern National Title Agency, has been pitiful. Though we paid cash for the home, we still have not received a title or even a response from them after writing personally to Nelson G. If it wasn’t for the professionalism of your sales staff we would not be happy buyers of our 1st brand new home. ... More

The water has been used from our home during the closing week without our permission. Huge lawn of around an acre area at the back of home’s block and several smaller lawn pieces at the front of the home’s block, have been watered by using water from our uniti have incurred a heavy water bill for around 110 thousand gallons of water. I have been following up several times with KHOV sales office to reach out to someone who takes responsibility of this issue. I have been given a promise that this bill will be taken care of before the due date. The date is past due but not a single bit of the bill is been paid yet. Jeff was great in helping us out and go the extra mile but the rest of it was a right . We were told one thing but ten it was something else . . But the whole thing was very good

We bought a townhome in Chantilly. The process was easy, and there were no issues. The warranty has also been very helpful and quick in terms of response time.

We love our new condo. It is beautiful and comfortable. The people working with us during construction were friendly and helpful. The reason for the lower rating is for two reasons. First, the construction was delayed 10 months later than the timeline we were originally given, which cost us a huge amount to store all of our our household goods and to pay for temporary housing. Second, the floor had damage upon move in, leading me to believe it is a cheaper product.

This was the worst buying experience from the beginning to the end, the experience was a headache. The whole team from the sales people Erica, the building manager Joe were arrogant, dishonest, and rude. The house was falling apart soon as we moved in. No one seems to care about where things are placed or how things are done. Lots of errors, mistakes and break downs were found after moving in. Quality of the materials and labor used in building the house was very cheap. The overall experience was dissatisfying to us.

Good responsiveness to taking care of things once we moved in but excessive delay in completing condo (10 months) and lack of information along the way created an overall poor experience.

Condo building is not very senior citizen friendly - garages too narrow, doors to trash & storage rooms & garages are not handicap accessible. Even if you are not handicapped, the narrow garages making getting out of a medium-sized SUV very difficult and doors in common areas are heavy to open, and if you have something in your hands, forget it. Three of my neighbors have had issues in first 90 days with their units as have we. Issues were fixed, but not a pleasant experience.

The surrounding residential area is quite quiet, and as a residential area, there are many convenient facilities, which is quite nice.
