Overall it was a very smooth experience. This was our first new build home so we didn't no what to expect. The whole buying and construction experience was awesome.

Great sales staff and initial repair. But have a severe issues with the way the lot was graded and its like a swamp between the 2 houses. I brought this up even before i purchased the house and they said it was sump pump drainage. But sump pump was running because the lot was not draining properly between the lots. And that was in spring when it was bone dry. A work ordered was submitted and that was the answer. Probably wound not recommend signing until the problem was fixed. Buyer BEWARE. GET EVERYTING IN WRITING! This house is in Lewes DE Scenic Harbor

•The sump pit continues to go off every couple of minutes keeping my wife awake! Because the work isn't done I'm holding off getting the fence installed! •The repair people removed the bubble from the floor but now it creaks when you walk on it. Everyday we wait for more to buckle. • Hard to rate performance when repair items are open for more than a month and we have no idea what is next? •. The team gets a 4 star for responding but honestly who cares how quickly someone responds? Sure, call within 24 hours but again if the issue is open for months who remembers or cares about the response????? ... More

Builder was upfront and responsiveness throughout the process.

These 2 people made the process very comfortable for us.. They took care of any issues we had and went above and beyond to help.. And still do even after closing....we appreciate them for the smooth process and transition.....Good people

Purchased spec home that was perfect for us in best school district at great price point. Wonderful sales team and construction crew deliver value. Easiest process.

Great response time, small issues but nothing major

Your team is very professional and attentive to the owner’s needs. When things are ask of them , they make sure we are taken care of.

My experience was average overall. I like the model layout but now that i m living in the home there are many quality issues I did not expect, While there is home warranty, I have spent a cold winter with heating issues and responsiveness on resolution has been substandard.

Our experience was overall very good however we did want a specific lot which they said we would have to pay a high premium along with a Lot premium. In the end a couple did purchase said lot for what we paid for ours. Just a little disappointed in that!

Nothing is perfect but my experience with the builder during the process of building my home was a good one. If there was a problem that needed to be corrected they were there to help make it right. Both Rich and Konner the building supervisors would help in making sure everything was finished on time and if a problem was identified during inspection,it would be fixed. I have to say very happy so far with my selection.

Buying a new home with KHOV was extremely stressful.

Smooth process, from sales to settlement. We love our home, nice high ceilings and a wonderful flow for entertaining. We would have liked a little more flexibility in the finishes

Our salesperson, Shannon, was excellent: Friendly, knowledgeable throughout the contract review process, follow-up and notably detail-oriented. Maintenance issues were made easy online and by phone with Paul and when meeting in person with Rich. Both were conscientious, went above and beyond, and wete also friendly. Actual "professional" maintenance work has been disappointing. One straightforward "fix" by someone with "many years of experience" was so amateurish and frankly wrong, that we will redo it ourselves. The other fix was made, but took longer to troubleshoot because of a lack of smarts. Online request made in Paul's absence, was responded to by Victoria, who seemingly misunderstood the issue raised, and while info was provided, the tone of the email response was borderline rude. I will try to deal with only Paul in the future. Overall, having moved in three months ago, we are very pleased with our home. However, before the eleventh month of coverage is up, we will hire an independent professional home inspector to identify any issues we are unaware of at present. ... More

We have had a great experience with the entire process. Extra kudos go to our salesperson Shannon, and also Caiden on the construction team who continues to be there for us 3 months in to ownership

Our salesperson made the buying experience very unpleasant. We had several issues with the build of our house, including a mold issue, which took over 6 weeks to resolve. Our house was not ready when scheduled, as a result we had to spend $8,200 for the month of June 2023 to continue to rent. KHov took no responsibility for this, nor did they try to expedite the delivery date in any way, in fact scheduling our settlement for the last day of June, despite our house being ready and our repeated requests to move it by even one day. KHov has also been very slow to respond to the numerous deficiencies in our house since we've moved in, and 3 1/2 months later there are still quite a few major items that haven't been resolved. Overall, we would not recommend KHov to anyone, because they have demonstrated over and over again that they don't care about their customers, despite them spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a home. ... Some of the construction was not any where the quality I thought was supposed to be. When an individual pays $700K plus you are expecting high quality, but not here. Four roof trusses were either cut or severely broken to make the roof system fit. One floor joist is bent about 15 degrees creating creaking when walked over, The electrical system was poorly designed. One 20 amp circuit for 12 outlets in the kitchen is at best a joke. In today's world many appliances are operated at the same time but not in this kitchen the way it was designed. Mike in the sales office lied on a consistent basis. No gas meter, but when I drove through the house there was one installed. And so on. He stated after telling me that the settlement date had to be pushed back 2 weeks on three different occasions, one being there were only 2 building inspectors working for the county and on was out sick. Getting items fixed has been a nightmare until very recently. Fixing the trusses have still not been addressed after a third party inspection found the problem in the first few minutes approximately 8 weeks ago. And the list goes on and on. ... More

Good experience so far. New and not full time yet.

Several poor painting areas on walls and trim. Finish work spotty at best. Once we were in the house for several weeks the repair men were very good. Especially Rich and Bruce

The buying experience was professional. The overall quality of the build and workmanship was below standards. Disappointing. I would not recommend K.Hov to friends or family. I paid for a custom home and have had a number of issues. I feel like I have a factory built home.

Very disappointed with quality of home, a disappointment only made worse by a lack of urgency/efficiency in correcting reported service issues.

Poor quality (cheap) materials, terrible workmanship, not responsive to warranty requests been waiting over 90 days to get replacements and repairs. Could have spent money elsewhere for more value and service when needed.

Shannon S. was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She did an outstanding job in helping us in the design and selection process of our new home. She guided us through the entire process and was very accurate in helping us make sound decisions.
