Very responsive to the addressed issue. Overall I'm very satisfied with the house and their service.

Things like the molding around the flooor meds better finishing and the floor doesn't always meet the wall… so u have a small crack! I would of liked a little more finishing outside with landscaping ( other new homes seem to have more) It seems like being one of the first 20/25 homes… u would of really done a nice job!I have only been here since the end of April and everyone seems delightful and helpful! Sorry, the water takes way too long!!! To get hot! We have never been in an over 55 development and it does seem very nice! Thank u for asking g me for a review! *****

Having come from a ***** beach house in which I had choices, it was hard to accept nothing could be changed before building started on this one. I understood the reason for it but still frustrating. Was not informed of many obstacles I encountered later. Because it was an over 55 neighborhood I expected certain criteria. There were no safety bars in bathrooms was a biggie. I have spent about 100,000 more to install bookcases, handrails, laundry cabinets, better showering upgrades, etc. after moving in. Would have been better to have been completed beforehand. No choice of floors and this color shows everything. No instructions given to me on how to operate appliances. One day of a quick walkthrough is not enough. Oven was not even in its proper alignment. I feel since I was the second house built that it was a rush job and many things done too quickly. My bathroom vanities are scarred and even if drawers are replaced that can’t fix the spaces between. Architectural features leave much to be desired. The smoke alarm is over the stove so it goes off frequently with just the toaster cooking. Kitchen cabinet doors open to hit the walls with no stoppers app*****d. Many features shown when buying but not included in end result. I do like the layout but feel I was deceived when buying. ... I expected more attention to detail. That didn't happen. It appears that the priority for all the homes being built is speed. I must say that the follow-up from Mike Luciano has been terrific: He's responsive, reliable, and knowledgeable. You have a great employee in Mike.

We love our new neighborhood and the amenities it offers. We are disappointed with how inflexible the builder was. For example, I wanted a floor plan so plan ahead of time where furniture should go, but we could not get anything but a single sheet of paper. A minimum by code of outlets provided. After we moved in we paid a carpenter to move the microwave and oven down so that a normal sized person wouldn't get burned taking hot food out of the microwave. In the master bathroom, we paid for a cabinet and drawers to be retrofitted whereas it would have made more sense for the builder to install the same cabinet during the build. ... More

From beginning to close very responsive team. Dylan was great at helping us navigate through everything. Tommy was extremely helpful (and still is) with helping us adjust to our new home.

These questionnaires should really come to a buyer after a year of time has passed. Anyway, have had problems with HVAC where after numerous attempts by the original installation contractor, I have had to hire an outside contractor to fix and pay for. Some minor window issues that took longer than it should have to fix. Like the house thus far as well as the community.

We love our house. The only negative is that the workmanship for the interior walls isn't great. Our model home has tall, expansive walls and there are a couple of bad wall seams. As delivered the house was bright white and the flawed seams were not detectable but after we pained the walls, the defects really showed up. This is disappointing because although KHov will fix the seams at the 11-month mark, it means we will have to pay to repaint. Also, the kitchen cabinets are very attractive but a bit light on substance (meaning they don't feel all that strong), especially the trash drawer. As for the overall structure, we have been through some major windstorms and the house is rock solid, no creaking or weird sounds which gives us great comfort. ... More

My sales person was let go 2 months before the house was finished, The marketing collateral is outdated but that's where they point you as a guide. The construction manager forgot to call and invite us to the pre-drywall walk through. The process that needs the most work is KHOV financing. The rates are on the low edge of the market but those savings may not be worth the frustration and culture you'll face when dealing with the people and processes. The quality of the built house and community are 5 stars.

The condominium location/view sells itself. K Hov Four Seasons Kent Island rushed condominium closing from December '25 to November '25, to beat the Thanksgiving holiday and save on extra month of costs. The rush job shows throughout the never ending blue tape initial walk-thru (used flat paint that still couldn't hide sloppy caulking/painting throughout, poor dry wall installation, misaligned/crooked fixtures, workers used & left my refrigerator filthy, etc), remaining items at final walk-thru (told that if I wanted items corrected it would delay my closing scheduled two hours after the final walk-thru). Sales Rep (Dylan) was almost useless. Slow to respond (if at all), - cost me a $5K buyer incentive savings and routinely provided misleading/incorrect information. ... More

Our sales person was wonderful, he went over every detail and sent pictures of ongoing construction. We were kept abreast of pending completion date and the necessary procedures needed for settlement.

We have had too many major issues with a new home build. Items that were pointed out during the construction and were not addressed until AFTER we settled. 2 weeks of ripping out walls and drywall. Yeah. Not. FUN.

Our construction manager Mike was outstanding.

Overall, my experience has been very good. From the purchase - where Alyssa did an outstanding job, to the construction - where Todd kept the build on track and answered all my questions, to the warranty follow up - where Mike and Matt have taken great care of me and my couple of issues with prompt and efficient service.

Everyone was wonderful from the sales agent to the Contractors and Builders. Very responsive to my needs.

Fire Place not a functional fireplace-very low grade. Not worth the money. No warranty on plants that are dead in landscaping( every reputable landscaping company will give you at least a 1 year warranty) Hire a pre inspection company for pre-drywall and final inspection The contractors K Hov uses for finish work cut corners which you will see in the final product. ( they do not miter inside corners on trim molding) Do not believe furnace is sized to square footage of house (BTU's are minimal) Do your homework!

Would have rated builder five stars for every category. However, I have comments & concerns with the design of my condo. Materials used - How much more would it have cost to upgrade toilets to give better flush thus eliminating need for multiple flushing. Design- Placing microwave so high on wall you need stepping stool to reach. Retrieving hot food from microwave while standing on stool - not good. Positioning cable box where modem can only be placed across from dryer, thus making it difficult to open door. Leaving no place to store a broom or mop much less a small bucket. Yet, I really love this place and location even with the flaws. Very satisfied with the community & my new home. Would I buy again - YES! ... More

The buying experience was very good, with very helpful and friendly people. Now that we have been living here a few months, several issues have arisen which are quite disappointing. First, there is no HVAC vent in the bedroom portion of the primary bedroom, and also very little air coming from the vent in the sitting room. (The model we looked at had both of these vents, and in working order). Apparently, the bedroom vent only exists in the 4th floor units, which was never mentioned to us at all. Second, our entire building was never hardwired with Ethernet cable after being told during the buying process that it would be. Lastly, one of the things that intrigued us about the community is that there was a beach here. At least that is what a couple of the banners indicated when driving down Four Seasons Boulevard (which remain in place today). Come to find out there is no beach. All in all, we do truly enjoy living here, however there are a few items about which we felt misled and/or were conveniently forgotten. ... More

Several Builder representatives are outstanding. Who you call for what can be unclear. Also, in some cases, too many people get involved in addressing a relatively straightforward issue.

Overall a decent experience. Great salesperson in Alyssa . Craftsmanship not great .

Our new home is beautiful but don't look too closely at the way it was built. The design had to have been done by a very tall man, with ceiling-high cabinetry and an oven that is almost impossible to reach. The paint is watered-down builder's quality. Thank goodness for the "fix it" department, because they do their best to make everything right. The buying process, if you overlook the lending process, went very smoothly.

The homes and condos are so well done and there is a great community of people who are all so welcoming
