Sales rep and project manager were great - communicated every step of the construction and kept us informed.

Appliances is too difficult using every day. Too complicated. Specially elderly people.

We feel very comfortable with the realtor experience with Pam she was great!!! So far the builder has responded to all issues except one. There is a water leak on the first floor in building 19 that comes close to the unit on the first floor. The builder stated it was a simple fix. Second hard rain it happened again with no response from the builder. This can be a serious problem if water continues the building. Trash pickup has been a issue no shows on pickup days.

If you are considering a Condo with One Floor living and The Four Seasons location is right fore you and your loved ones, ask for GEORGE. Allow him to answer your concerns and provide you with the info need to choose wisely.

They are OK. The best thing about this development is that it is on the water. Also, the Chester House is beautiful and has pools, game room, indoor and outdoor sitting with views of the Bay.

My home purchasing experience with K. Hovnanian has been a remarkable journey. My wife and I searched so many residential communities in Virginia and other states, before settling in Four Seasons at Kent Island in Chester Maryland. Our newly built spec home already included many of the features we desired. Marvelous flooring, up-to-date appliances, high ceilings, and a beautiful loft style kitchen. Throughout the entire home purchasing process and there after, we have received exemplary professional and courteous service from all the different components that makeup the Four Seasons at Kent Island. We are truly happy with K. Hovnanian residential building style, our spacious Kelly home, and the amenities that are available and associated with this wonderful community. For a huge company, K Hov does a great job. Sales, service, and communication were all great. The build quality was nowhere near my previous build (Ryland). I attribute that to building more houses than competent tradesmen available to build. They are very responsive to any issue, so buy the house with it's faults, and they will all be fixed, no problem.

After selling a house was able to buy and settle relatively quickly at 4 Seasons. Quality of new construction only fair, though upgraded appliances quite nice

The entire experience, since I put purchased this alone, as a retirement home, has been more then scary.

KHov responded first thing Monday after a weekend notification that our fascia trim had come off during a storm. Workers came out the same week to replace the missing pieces. Only concern was that it was not correctly installed in the first place.

Enjoyed working with the Sales Team. Everything delivered as promised. Great Location and a Great KHOV Four Seasons Community.

This buying and building experience was far better than anticipated. We've all heard the horror stories of working with builders - this was not the case here. We were kept informed throughout the process and while there were a few minor issues, the KHov staff was very responsive in addressing those issues - and continue to be after moving in. Would we do it again if we had the chance? You bet! How many times have you heard that?

VERY difficult to get repairs scheduled and issues are never resolved in 1 visit. Repairmen cause damage when they come.

We have had several issues! Namely, electrical panel had to be replaced, including circuit breakers. That being said, I came home from NY, after burying my Mother to a dead refrigerator ( breaker was thrown.) that was July 31st! Still waiting for a new refrigerator!! The humidity in our home has been as high as 78% for many weeks, and still averages 67%. Unless, I turn the thermostat to 67 degrees. I can’t live like this much longer. And the standard answer is, ‘ wait till Fall! And the building will dry out!” The lack of response for the higher ups is appalling! And I will never recommend any buying here in FS. Very pleased with the employees and their dedication to customer satisfaction. The few minor issues I had were immediately dealt with. Love the home! From start to finish, a very professional team.

Sales should provide house blue print including Receptacles and possibility of adding wires for electric range and water heater. Homeowner should visit the site every week to check the progress and point out defects, since construction manager doe snot do his job! Too may homes are being built at once and not enough construction managers to cover quality control.

Was not impressed with the quality of the materials or the workmanship

The entire experience up until now (6 months later) has been challenging. The Project Manager, is not trustworthy and is slow to respond when it directly affects his "bonus" or incentive to complete a job and totally non communicative on any and every other issue. i.e. during the walk-thru in December 2023, a issue was brought to his attention with a promise to have it address within a couple of days, to date has not been resolved, last visit to my home on 4/25/2023, he again promised to resolve an issue, have not heard a word from him as of today 7/3/2023. Issues directly affecting his bonus are all resolved. His direct supervisor is also non-responsive when copied on this issue. At this point, I don’t want him anywhere near my home. My sales rep, beautiful personality however, in my opinion, is over worked therefore unable to thoroughly provide the information and services needed in making informed decisions in the buying experience, which could have ultimately resulted for me a disaster I would have had to live with in my forever home. i.e. clarity on options, placements and costs... letting the clients know the selection of model homes extend beyond the model homes on site. Satisfactory ratings for the Warranty and HOA (First Service) dept. Overall, the home now meets most of what I was looking for as my forever home, however it has been the process (service) of making it the completed forever home that was and still is most disappointing. ... HOA is dis-organized. K. Hov does not have quality control personnel to inspect home construction before each home is delivered to its buyer. K. Hov expects homeowners to be thoroughly familiar with technology (appliances, internet, wifi, security and etc.) used in their home, K. Hov's use of third -party contractors and subcontractors could benefit from closer supervision.

Comfortable and satisfying experience of house buying with sale woman and construction manager (Rebecca and Kenny)

All building contacts were great. Very responsive and professional.

The home buying experience was easy, George kept informed via weekly updates. Dillion and Kurt (construction managers)were prompt in resolving minor issues. KHov has fallen flat post sale in terms of maintaining the common areas of the property and community communications. I have reached out to First Residential, the management company to no avail either. Foe example - the pier is covered with bird poop, discarded fishing line, hooks and fish guts. Minor purchases would make a huge difference to its safety, cleanliness and appearance….fishing line disposal tube and a hose. The gazebo seats at the far end of the property are covered with green mold….the response from First Residential is there no budget or maintenance crew. There are residents that are willing to maintain the dock. These small issues will start to accumulate and will impact the value and marketing of our community. ... More

George was incredibly helpful during the purchasing process of my condominium. He was always available to answer questions and responded immediately to any concerns. I loved that he continued to follow up with me even after the sale of the condo. He is an asset to KHOV!! Dylan the maintenance manager responds right away to any maintenance issues. He is incredibly courteous and prompt. He is never ever annoyed when I email or have him address a problem.

We had a fantastic buying experience! Dylan, the sales associate, gave us a thorough tour of the model condo and development. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and proactive with regards to the contract negotiations, options for the condo, and what to expect for closing. He was our go-to guy for getting information and answering our questions. The other Dylan, the project manager, was also extremely responsive and provided excellent customer service throughout the various walk-thrus, inspections, and issue resolution. My wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase and looking forward to enjoying everything this community has to offer us. ... More
