Everything was very smooth and easy. Home was clean and in excellent shape. Any questions we had were answered thoroughly and quickly. Could not have had a better experience

Hovnavian’s personel are excellent, but the quality and workmanship of the homes leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the cost!

We love the home overall. Not crazy about the interior paint. It's hard to clean. We wish some of the cosmetic issues with paint, stucco etc could be addressed prior to the 10 month mark. Diana was great as we purchased the home. Mike and Brett have been terrific in addressing issues and tying up loose ends especially 30-45 days after we moved in. I would rate their responsiveness and dependability as a 5 and Anthony's as a 1. That's how I get to an overall rating of "3" above. The house is well constructed and the neighborhood is beautiful.

KHov does not stand by its product, homes. Their service orientation is zero and is more aligned with avoiding work. They are incompetent, lazy and in some instances outright lacking in truthfulness. They cannot be trusted and have no interest in the customer let alone doing what is right. Brian is especially bad and passes you to others with no sincerity. Really lazy and incompetent.

Great neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Great facilities, too. Got one of the last new homes in the neighborhood at a great price. House did not come with gutters, strange for a community in Florida where it rains regularly. Only downside was the lawns were not being kept up well by the builder/HOA. Not sure if lawn was diseased or not getting enough water. Overall experience was good. Despite minor flaws listed, it was at a price that was too good to pass up!

My 9th home and an expensive one. The smallest high premium lot and one of the smallest homes. The construction manager was non-existent. I met him at the initial meeting and never saw or heard from him again until my final walkthrough....5 months! The only reason I gave him a decent review was he begged for it and Alyssa Tarsa asked me to do it. He has no empathy, no consideration, and blames any design or electrical or construction issue on someone else. He never completed a very small punch list, I did the work myself. The Home prices were variable, up and they go down however, if the home isn’t sold within a matter of weeks, the prices go down to those buyers who can now get lower great price for the same home you would have paid additional $20K. It’s now $20K less affordability. Good home structure Quality

Great experience with sale agent Jennifer the best. The loan person in Florida no very good. The solar company contracted is very bad with their customers service.

Fair materials and construction decisions.

Deceptive sales practices, poor build quality, both in materials and labor, items that are excluded from the upgraded packages purchased, but not disclosed, promised times committed to and missed by warranty department, no follow up from anyone at KHOV. This is our 4th home build, and the absolute worst.

For the most part, we were very satisfied with the home buying process and the responsiveness of the sales agent and construction staff. However, we were very disappointed in two issues that would make us reluctant to recommend KHOV to others-- 1) no one in sales or at settlement ever conveyed to us that the quarterly water and sewer charges were going to be equally shared by all residents of multiple building versus separately metered where we would pay for only our own water usage. That is a significant that should have been explained beforehand, especially since some of us have second homes and aren't living in the home all year; 2) In order to sell the last condo in our building before the end of the year (the exact same model as ours with the same options on the same floor and right next door to us), KHOV reduced the price by $50,000, in affect significantly cheapening the value of our own property and others. This action was very self-serving to KHOV, totally unnecessary and a great disservice to the dozens of buyers who had already purchased their new home. ... More

Quality would be improved if more time was allowed to work more professionally.

Good experience so far. We had issues related to the walk through and noted some things we wanted fixed. No follow up from the rep that was supposed to help us.

Check the options prices before you buy. Sometimes it is worthwhile to get the basic and upgrade the house or remodel yourself. Weight the options!

The Company has worked very hard to deliver my house on time and certainly to have everything complete . I was able to move in several weeks early compared to the original projection at groundbreaking so that saved extra rental expenses . There have been some minor issues to correct , but Mike was readily available to review the concerns and have them corrected .None of those issues prevented me from full use of the house once I moved in .Now that I have all new appliances and new construction , I am no longer spending my spare time or weekends being Mr . Fix-It !!!

We moved in to our new home in December. Barbara and Coop were great to work with. They had answers for most of my many questions and the ones they didn't have answers to they researched and got back to me.

From Barbara as the salesperson, to John as the superintendent, to Froy in Homeowner Services, everyone has been accommodating, friendly and attentive. Overall the best home buying experience we’ve ever had. Oh and did I mention the home is beautiful? :)

Purchasing the home was a straightforward process. The homes floor plan is well designed but has some shortcomings in terms of quality. The Builder charges ridiculous prices for flooring and upgrades. The standard components used in the home are minimum “builders grade“ quality. For example, for all plumbing fixtures, cheap rubber hoses are used instead of metal mesh on all plumbing fixtures. This means years down the road these hoses could easily burst flooding the home and all of them need to be changed at the owners expense. The lots are unfinished, which is extremely costly. The builder should inform the buyer with an idea of this cost before making a purchase. On the positive side, the company is very responsive to requests. ... More

as soon as I moved in had lot of issues some of which were resolved but others not yet. the quality of material used and the work is not par with the price I paid to purchase the house. disappointed with the crude workmanship

Our new home at Four Seasons Kent Island is nice however, it took extra effort and many issues needed to be addressed. Overall quality of the house was average but below our expectations. The process described for building the house prior to buying, was a bit different then actually experienced. We were not allowed to do a pre-drywall inspection due to errors by the builders and will always wonder what might have been missed. Obviously issues with the building process. Materials used for the house were low quality. The “blue tape” operation required a whole roll of tape to point out flaws and issues with construction. Which were mostly all corrected prior to closing. Water pressure to the house is not great. Hope it doesn’t get worse as more houses are built. Selection of interior items and finishes was ok but would have liked more options and flexibility to choose between finishes. No paint options and the quality of the flat paint used iwas poor.
