We are very satisfied after one month

We appreciated the sales rep. Good job. We love the style of the home, Cardinal. We now own two K. Hovnanian homes. Minnesota and Arizona

From start to finish I had access to the progress of the build. Andrew our project manager quickly responded to questions or concerns.

What really made the difference in the sale were two things: Our salesman, Tom, who has been kind and super responsive in resolving our concerns The Better Business Bureau rating for KHov was very good

Design of the home is perfect!

Overall it was a smooth and fast process. The associates are pleasant and easy to deal with. Concerns are dealt with in a timely fashion.

This is our second K-Hovnanian home. I can say that the problems that we encountered with our first home have been addressed with the second purchase. We are very pleased with the quality and responsiveness. Buyer must be aware that K-Hov is not a custom builder and the number of changes that can be made is very limited. You must also be sure of your final options selections as again it is very difficult to make changes once the order is in. We found helpful to visit other developments with the model we chose to enable us to finalize our choices.

The paint was not of a good quality and the painting was not to what I would call a professional job.

Every personal touch point from the salesman, construction manager and all of the office/admin team were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt when addressing questions and concerns along the way leading up to our closing and complete satisfaction. Great overall experience and home value.

Workmanship and quality of construction is a bit disappointing. Water pressure for the “marketed spa” experience with the additions spa option is disappointing…water pressure is so low.

Overall a decent experience. Great salesperson in Alyssa . Craftsmanship not great .

Make sure you check the drywall work very close there's a reason you can't use a light at walk through.

Some of the craftsmen ship is great, however I’ve found a lot of cut corners and poor quality. Price of the house and amenities is great, community is outstanding! I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to live here, just stay on top of your new house when it’s being built.

The Home prices were variable, up and they go down however, if the home isn’t sold within a matter of weeks, the prices go down to those buyers who can now get lower great price for the same home you would have paid additional $20K. It’s now $20K less affordability. Good home structure Quality

Purchasing the home was a straightforward process. The homes floor plan is well designed but has some shortcomings in terms of quality. The Builder charges ridiculous prices for flooring and upgrades. The standard components used in the home are minimum “builders grade“ quality. For example, for all plumbing fixtures, cheap rubber hoses are used instead of metal mesh on all plumbing fixtures. This means years down the road these hoses could easily burst flooding the home and all of them need to be changed at the owners expense. The lots are unfinished, which is extremely costly. Smooth process, from sales to settlement. We love our home, nice high ceilings and a wonderful flow for entertaining. We would have liked a little more flexibility in the finishes

The paint and caulk work throughout the house is less than acceptable. Many of the windows have small cracks in the drywall. If you rub on the wall the paint comes off along with the texture. The windows in the rear of the house were missing seals causing sand to come through the openings. The washing machine made loud noises since the first time we used it. No hot water to the main kitchen sink. The repairs are slowly being scheduled at this time.

Follow up with warranty manager poor!!! Very disappointed.

After selling a house was able to buy and settle relatively quickly at 4 Seasons. Quality of new construction only fair, though upgraded appliances quite nice

Zach was very nice to me every other week he would send pictures of the progress of my house. When I arrived he showed me around.

My new neighbors are awesome, and I am VERY happy with the friendships that we are developing with everyone-awesome. Overall, my home and the community common areas are of high quality, for a production builder, despite the Clubhouse and Pool not being complete. My home buying experience with Bill (Sales), was very good, (A+), he is a good man. Service after the sale has NOT been stellar (C-),and could easily be with the right staff, doing what they say they will do, by improving their follow-up and communication with the new owners. Improvement is needed in this area.

Barbara was extraordinary and kept in touch with us weekly, since we lived 461 miles away. She kept of abreast of all aspects of our build, took pictures, and answered any questions that we had during the entire process. She was our eyes and ears onsite. Froy's customer service is excellent .Great working with him.

House is structurally sound, but there were, and still are many cosmetic things, i.e. sloppy painting and trim work that need to be addressed

When you buy your home, you expect the builder to use the best of everything. Unfortunately that’s not the case! The windows are not great, nor is the patio door. The tub surround was also cheap. We’re talking about a 300K house!!! Anyway, at closing: when you buy the house, you have to sign a bunch of stuff, and in that stuff is a little clause you initial saying you’ll have everything you need at closing or they’ll charge you $500/day. Fine, no problem. You’ve got the money! My problem was with the title company. They were way behind because the builder finished the house 2 weeks early. So we were 5 days late, even though I had the money!! It wasn’t my fault, but the didn’t care, I had initialed that clause. So, be careful what you sign!!! ... More
