I had a very good experience. I had my sister in the area and she helped keep an eye on things. I got weekly updates and if I had questions they were answered promptly.

Real solid construction and management was responsive to us. The construction mgr and sales office personnel have become good friends.

I love the neighborhood they created. There are lots of activities and many of the residents participate. The homes are a little bland from the outside but K. Hov offers nice options with which to design the interiors and make it your own.

Dealing with nice people who were warm in their communications really helped while buying a new house in the middle of the pandemic along with the associated late materials which made for late closing. Elizabeth's regular text communications associated with progress of build was really good for morale. The niceness of people extended to the underwriters. I specially think of Michell putting her own personal cell phone number in an email which I had to use once after-hours when I was panicking thinking that I had to know the result of a communication. This kind of hand-holding really helped. After the close, the service center has really been great addressing issues. Bryce has made it a point to keep me informed personally by phone on the progress of issues being addressed and soliciting my feedback. quality building, responsiveness to needs , other then being a little delayed in delivery date overall experience terrific

Builders team was easy to work with. Completion date was pushed out a few times due to supply chain issues.

Love our house and issues are being addressed. Wish the contractor were more careful but That is the world we live in. Quality is generally good.

As with a new build, You must be "patient" and be educated on how a new build of your home transforms. This is a new norm unfortunately of delays both from materials and the labor workforce. The problem is with every builder in the industry. The end result was well worth the wait. Communication is the key to a positive outcome.

Barbara is easy to work with. Drew and Deb are both extremely knowledgeable about the home building process and are very upfront. We felt informed the entire process.

We were fortunate to find a Hovnanian house already built and ready to move in. We didn't have to play the waiting game. The house is lovely and room sizes are perfect for our needs. The color scheme is workable, and we love the amount of light in the house. We will enjoy making it our own.

KHov is very responsive to any issues you may have and keeps you informed during the building process.

Landscaping I think you could do a lot better for the money that I paid the front yard is very sad

Love the new home. Wish there were options to make the home smart (lighting, thermostat, locks, alarm, etc...). High quality workmanship except paint quality could have been better (better quality paint material, attention to detail...drips, blemishes on the surface, especially molding and drips on the flooring). I would have rated higher in Quality if painting were more meticulous/higher degree of attention to detail. Regarding responsiveness of issues, easy to raise requests for service, not all issues have resulted in response / closure.

The build process interactions with construction foreman and sales people were good and provided an idea of progress from design towards completion. The lot premium was a bit excessive considering the highway noise. Then we were not allowed to specify materials which would remediate it, without changing the appearance. The sales/ construction team dropped the ball on the number of gas taps and forced us to use their electric appliances which altered the back up generator requirements. The Media port installations used twice the amount of materials that were required and used miniscule wire gauge for the speakers, which limited the low frequency response of the speakers. The responsiveness of the construction crew to issues and questions was excellent. Explanation of construction progress and reviews were also excellent. Delivery was smooth. Good process in place to address issues which are under warranty. Jeff has been very helpful and responsive.

The support personnel are stellar. The company cut corners for profit. When you pay for upgrades, make sure they are. For example, quartz instead of granite. $2 plants in front of the house is landscaping? For the price paid, a refrigerator wasn’t included, neither a washer or dryer. Not even a credit. The first thing you see entering the house is the seams in the vinyl siding. This house was almost $600K, not $300K…have I made my point.

When the house was being built, we were not contacted at the different mill stones. We did not meet the builder until final inspection.

We love our home. We had a few things that were not quite ready at settlement but were taken care of promptly. Dylan is an outstanding job supervisor. He took care of everything we needed done.

This was a challenge for us and the folks helping us did their best to make it successful.

Overall our buying experience was good and we enjoyed working with the KHOV staff. Thanks to our builder Michael for all of his efforts to do things right and to Alex for working hard to handle our warranty issues.

Front end process was great from initial visit through closing. As the buyer, I had good communication with sales and builder. We relied on third parties (our real actor and inspector) to act on our behave and key points in the build process. A feedback that I have provided before was that I wished there had been better communication with them. No major issues found at the final inspection and they were corrected quickly. No major issues on our 45 day list. A few items have been open for a while, but absolutely no impact to our enjoying the home. Warranty team has great communication from day 1. Amenities are great. HOA team provides weekly communications on clubs, events, and activities. They use a web based tool that ties the owners in with the community and amenities. They are very helpful and have a great presence in the club house. Members of the community are extremely nice and helpful. They make it very easy to integrate into the community. Overall a great experience and a good community. The residents are all wonderful and we are looking forward to more residents and the further development of the community.

So glad I made the move. It was time for a fresh start so I figured I better buy a brand new home with all the amenities. I am very happy here. The staff is very friendly and reliable.

It would help new home buyers to be able to talk to some of the other people that bought a similar house and ask if they were to build again what would they do differently. Working with Nick and Stacy made this easy. They were extremely helpful and responsive The experience went without a hitch except for small supply chain issues which are out of your control
