This was a challenge for us and the folks helping us did their best to make it successful.

Overall our buying experience was good and we enjoyed working with the KHOV staff. Thanks to our builder Michael for all of his efforts to do things right and to Alex for working hard to handle our warranty issues.

Front end process was great from initial visit through closing. As the buyer, I had good communication with sales and builder. We relied on third parties (our real actor and inspector) to act on our behave and key points in the build process. A feedback that I have provided before was that I wished there had been better communication with them. No major issues found at the final inspection and they were corrected quickly. No major issues on our 45 day list. A few items have been open for a while, but absolutely no impact to our enjoying the home. Warranty team has great communication from day 1. Amenities are great. HOA team provides weekly communications on clubs, events, and activities. They use a web based tool that ties the owners in with the community and amenities. They are very helpful and have a great presence in the club house. Members of the community are extremely nice and helpful. They make it very easy to integrate into the community. Overall a great experience and a good community. The residents are all wonderful and we are looking forward to more residents and the further development of the community.

So glad I made the move. It was time for a fresh start so I figured I better buy a brand new home with all the amenities. I am very happy here. The staff is very friendly and reliable.

It would help new home buyers to be able to talk to some of the other people that bought a similar house and ask if they were to build again what would they do differently. Working with Nick and Stacy made this easy. They were extremely helpful and responsive The experience went without a hitch except for small supply chain issues which are out of your control

Lisa N was outstanding and very supportive during our entire process. James was outstanding addressing all of our questions and explaining the entire process until we moved in and then was extremely helpful with issues we had with some of our appliances contractor. I would say because of the two of them they took a lot of stress off of our experience.

While the quality of materials was as I expected from a large developer in a booming development, there were occasional lapses in the quality of workmanship that would have been a problem, if not for the excellent customer service provided by our construction manager, Nick. He was always ready to listen - even when I was a little frustrated -- and always saw to it that the concern / problem was addressed to my satisfaction. Great representative for K. Hovnanian.

Sales Rep was only satisfactory; difficult at times. Would not ever buy again without my own realtor. However, Valet, Tom was extraordinarily helpful at pre-move in and post closing, VERY responsive, as was John, the project superintendent. Head landscaper was also extremely helpful with front yard landscape plantings.

After a wind storm, a lot of the wood trim that was in garage had to be replaced (after it was installed) never should have been installed!

Overcame building challenges and helped get into the house!

In this time of uncertainty and pandemic, trust is extremely important. The K Hov folks kept us informed and up to date all along though we lived in Colorado. We are very happy with the way things turned out.

Construction Supervisor (Dennis) was great!

The buikding process was much faster then we expected from contract signing to close ~ 6 months.

It starts with the Sales Personnel Mrs. Barbera. She was always available whenever we had a question from start to finish even when she wasn't working. That experience was so valuable to us because we never purchased a newly built home. We were told that we can visit at any time during the building process, but make her aware of those times because it may not be safe for us to enter during certain phases of the construction. We really enjoy our home and it is coming together with my wife's fabulous design capabilities.

We did not know that we had to finish landscaping until we moved in.

Every one I deal with during the building process were always very knowledgeable and courtesy. I am very happy with the workmanship and quality of the home.

After 3 months, we are satisfied with the quality and performance of K.Hov as a builder. There are some issues regarding who is responsible-builder or developer, but all things considered we are happy to date.

Overall, our experience was a positive one. Sales and design were very good. Communication during the actual construction phase was limited. There should be much more information shared without having to ask for it. Pictures and updates need to happen more often... especially for out of state customers. Prior to closing, I believe there should have been more attention paid to details, as per my discussion with Jason. That would save time (and money)for KHOV by sending contractors back out to address issues that should been checked earlier. This will also save aggravation for homeowners,which is the most important thing. With that being said, since we have moved in, Ben has been fantastic. Several issues with trim, drywall, cabinet, countertop fit/finish issues that should have been caught before the house was handed over, but Amanda has been great on getting everything fixed as quickly as possible. Overall pretty happy with the house, very happy with KHov’s response.

Had to fly back a week later to do the walk through. We planned it for one date and they missed it. Had to buy another airline ticket to come back the following week. On my $$$.

Above average starts from a low bar around here, but generally, we're happy overall. The people are what makes this community so great. Building our home from scratch long distance was made as easy as possible, but was still a chore. The largest miss in the design experience was not being able to see all our choices together in a virtual environment. That color combination you liked may not look the same in real life. Quality of build is average plus. Several construction issues found by our inspector were corrected, but should never have been made in the first place (e.g., warped studs incorrectly remediated, electrical wiring mistakes) and some were contested by the builder and not remediated (e.g., roofing nail spacing). Some choices made by the builder were problematic (e.g., noisy, high sones bathroom exhaust fans, very thin coating of wall paint - masking tape on the wall peels out chunks when removed, no insulation over the garage). Would be nice if the numerous light switches were labeled. Also surprised there isn’t a switch for kitchen lights when entering from garage. For Donegal models with a sun room- the floor outlet is centered in the room. With a sun room addition many of us place our couches farther toward the master bed door. This makes the floor outlet useless unless you want a tripping hazard, or fire hazard with an area rug. Put peep holes in the front doors.

We absolutely love our new home! We’ve met som wonderful people. As with any new community I’m sure there’s room for improvement but we are happy we chose Four Seasons as our final & forever home

Khov is a good company but needs to be more attentive to the details - big and small. We love our home and our Community but Khov is struggling with growth issues. Our community infrastructure (pools, courts, exercise facilities, landscaping, lakes and irrigation is struggling due to lack of maintenance management by Khov and the property management company. The handover by Khov six months ago to the HOA has been poorly handled with financial, accounting and maintenance irregularities - the end result being special assessments on the backs of home owners. With a little bit of planning, better record keeping and competent management by the property management company over the years this could have been avoided.
