The closing process is very clunky and unorganized. The Design center needs to be more detailed, especially with electrical. Otherwise, it was an overall good experience. Mike was the best on construction site.

We love our new home! However, we have a few complaints. They are as follows: - The appliances are of cheap quality considering we paid ¾’s of a million dollars for this home. The dishwasher especially is all plastic & noisy with a decibel level of 55. The noisiest & least expensive on the market. - The dryer door is not adjustable & each time you open it you pull the dryer across the room. - We have had 3 leaks since we moved in on April 12. Two were minor; we were able to catch it before any demand occurred. The third has been a problem. They needed to drill holes in the laundry & ½ bathroom to find out what the problem was. Remove sheet rock, repair the pipe. They have since replaced the sheetrock but have not sanded or painted as of yet. Also, the laundry floor & part of the ½ bathroom need to be replaced. That hasn’t happened yet. It has been at least 3 weeks. Can you assist with any of the above? The service folks (Rick from Homeowners Services, plumbers, lead contractor) have been quick to respond & have been great. Except for this last problem we are experiencing. ... More

The construction time was smooth thanks to John our appointed go to guy. There were hiccups along the way but he responded to us promptly and fixed any issues. This would have been a much better experience if our sod was better and yard was attended to better. Sod was such low quality it is taking a long time to get it to grow etc. Also had a lot of dead grass when I moved in. Landscaper not good at all. Choices of plants and trees were awful and well as well he placed the trees in the backyard. I almost walk right into them when I walk out my porch.

Adam was very professional and helpful during the buying period. Rosa was excellent in helping us with our design selections. Dave was very responsive and helpful during the build. Justin has been responsive in addressing post closing warranty issues. Grading of ground to ensure proper drainage of water towards the common area should have been better and was not adequately addressed post closing.

Waiting for a new home to be built (in my case, a condo), is difficult. You're anxious and always wondering what the status is and if you may be delayed from closing. Dylan was exceptional in communicating a true estimated closing date, setting my expectations appropriately for the right time. Not only did he let me know when i truly should expect to close, but also, he always made himself available to me when i wanted to pop in for a visit to see the property and re-see all the models for home decorating ideas and to dream about what my finished condo would look like! Not only that, he sent enthusiastic emails weekly documenting the build progress with pictures! It is so nice to have photos of my new home at each stage of it's construction! My walk-through was extremely informative and the builder provided me with all kinds of tips on how to best take care of appliances, pipes and the like. I enjoyed the process and am happy in my new condo. Of course, there are a few hiccups, but K Hovnanian's team have been responded to my issues in a timely manner. And, i do think some of the interior paint & trim & nail pops need some clean up work - but i'm hopeful that's what the touch up time will take care of in about 10 months! ... More

Overall homebuying experience was very good. Response to minor problems with construction or materials was swift and Thorough

Front end process was great from initial visit through closing. As the buyer, I had good communication with sales and builder. We relied on third parties (our real actor and inspector) to act on our behave and key points in the build process. A feedback that I have provided before was that I wished there had been better communication with them. No major issues found at the final inspection and they were corrected quickly. No major issues on our 45 day list. A few items have been open for a while, but absolutely no impact to our enjoying the home. Warranty team has great communication from day 1. Amenities are great. HOA team provides weekly communications on clubs, events, and activities. They use a web based tool that ties the owners in with the community and amenities. They are very helpful and have a great presence in the club house. Members of the community are extremely nice and helpful. They make it very easy to integrate into the community. Overall a great experience and a good community. The residents are all wonderful and we are looking forward to more residents and the further development of the community.

Shannon S. was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She did an outstanding job in helping us in the design and selection process of our new home. She guided us through the entire process and was very accurate in helping us make sound decisions.

The quality of yhr home is very good, but completion was rushed to get us moved in. Lots of minor issues, but most were taken care of in a somewhat timely fashion. It took an unnecessary 3 months to have our stone front out on, but finally done. Josh, our builder was great, as well as our warranty person Frank.

Quality of materials and workmanship very good, no issues about, all itens discussed during negotiations step, fine, except refrigerator, vendor said will not be included, but will try, and after that, even with my e-mail about, no reply about this subject. Still no issues , mainly because we still dont move in. Sure we recomend this builder.

From the day that we signed the contract in March 2022 until we got our keys in October 2022, everything went very smoothly And without a delay or hitch. We were warned by others that the post COVID time would creat delays, never happened. Stacy, our sales representative put all the paperwork together and James, our project manager did the rest! We have been in the house for 4 months and love it! We have 2 minor issues, but Josh, the Warrenty rep. Took care of them right away. I ca not say enough good things about our experience with KHovnanian Homes!

So glad I made the move. It was time for a fresh start so I figured I better buy a brand new home with all the amenities. I am very happy here. The staff is very friendly and reliable.

I was happy with the original sales people like Stacy and the way options were explained to me at the design center. My project manager was very helpful and communicated every week. He forwarned me of potential delays and moving in was delayed 2 months. I was disappointed in that but not in the house or fixing things that needed to be done before, and after I moved in. My PM was great at answering my questions, even ones I asked more than once.

It would help new home buyers to be able to talk to some of the other people that bought a similar house and ask if they were to build again what would they do differently. Working with Nick and Stacy made this easy. They were extremely helpful and responsive The experience went without a hitch except for small supply chain issues which are out of your control

I love the active community with many events. I love my new house, it's perfect for me.

Despite the 6 month delay due to Covid (which of course was very challenging) there were definitely some highlights. There were a number of people trying to do their best. Most of the delay was out of their control. At the end of the day the house is beautiful and we’re very happy. Most of the walk thru items have been done.

I had a very good experience. I had my sister in the area and she helped keep an eye on things. I got weekly updates and if I had questions they were answered promptly.

Lisa N was outstanding and very supportive during our entire process. James was outstanding addressing all of our questions and explaining the entire process until we moved in and then was extremely helpful with issues we had with some of our appliances contractor. I would say because of the two of them they took a lot of stress off of our experience.

There were many difficulties with the process of getting to settlement. Many unfortunate mistakes and delays.

While the quality of materials was as I expected from a large developer in a booming development, there were occasional lapses in the quality of workmanship that would have been a problem, if not for the excellent customer service provided by our construction manager, Nick. He was always ready to listen - even when I was a little frustrated -- and always saw to it that the concern / problem was addressed to my satisfaction. Great representative for K. Hovnanian.
