My home buying experience was less than ideal. Both my salesperson and my construction manager were replaced halfway thru the process. Although the kitchen appliances are very nice, the AC unit is rated "least efficient." I have had someone out here twice in 3 months due to issues with the AC unit. I am pleased with my neighbors and with the community center, including activities available. I would recommend Four Seasons with several caveats - buyer beware.

Our home-buying process with K Hov was a great experience. They were very responsive and fast and took care of any issues that we had.

My husband and I purchased our home site unseen. Paul, our builder helped navigate every step of the way and Curtis in the office couldn't have been any more responsive than he was. Very thorough on everything of importance. Top notch.

The buying experience was professional. The overall quality of the build and workmanship was below standards. Disappointing. I would not recommend K.Hov to friends or family. I paid for a custom home and have had a number of issues. I feel like I have a factory built home.

We love our new home! However, we have a few complaints. They are as follows: - The appliances are of cheap quality considering we paid ¾’s of a million dollars for this home. The dishwasher especially is all plastic & noisy with a decibel level of 55. The noisiest & least expensive on the market. - The dryer door is not adjustable & each time you open it you pull the dryer across the room. - We have had 3 leaks since we moved in on April 12. Two were minor; we were able to catch it before any demand occurred. The third has been a problem. They needed to drill holes in the laundry & ½ bathroom to find out what the problem was. Remove sheet rock, repair the pipe. They have since replaced the sheetrock but have not sanded or painted as of yet. Also, the laundry floor & part of the ½ bathroom need to be replaced. That hasn’t happened yet. It has been at least 3 weeks. Can you assist with any of the above? The service folks (Rick from Homeowners Services, plumbers, lead contractor) have been quick to respond & have been great. Except for this last problem we are experiencing. ... More

New house not clean. 4 months after closing still fighting builder to fix things on punch list from walkthrough.

Was not impressed with the quality of the materials or the workmanship

The construction time was smooth thanks to John our appointed go to guy. There were hiccups along the way but he responded to us promptly and fixed any issues. This would have been a much better experience if our sod was better and yard was attended to better. Sod was such low quality it is taking a long time to get it to grow etc. Also had a lot of dead grass when I moved in. Landscaper not good at all. Choices of plants and trees were awful and well as well he placed the trees in the backyard. I almost walk right into them when I walk out my porch.

Nothing is perfect. So goes the home buying experience. Could it have been better? YES In the long run, all said and done, we are getting settled in and are happy with our purchase. They do follow up on any problems quickly and efficiently. Is the grass greener on the other side of the street? It never is.

The entire experience up until now (6 months later) has been challenging. The Project Manager, is not trustworthy and is slow to respond when it directly affects his "bonus" or incentive to complete a job and totally non communicative on any and every other issue. i.e. during the walk-thru in December 2023, a issue was brought to his attention with a promise to have it address within a couple of days, to date has not been resolved, last visit to my home on 4/25/2023, he again promised to resolve an issue, have not heard a word from him as of today 7/3/2023. Issues directly affecting his bonus are all resolved. His direct supervisor is also non-responsive when copied on this issue. At this point, I don’t want him anywhere near my home. My sales rep, beautiful personality however, in my opinion, is over worked therefore unable to thoroughly provide the information and services needed in making informed decisions in the buying experience, which could have ultimately resulted for me a disaster I would have had to live with in my forever home. i.e. clarity on options, placements and costs... letting the clients know the selection of model homes extend beyond the model homes on site. Satisfactory ratings for the Warranty and HOA (First Service) dept. Overall, the home now meets most of what I was looking for as my forever home, however it has been the process (service) of making it the completed forever home that was and still is most disappointing. ... Quality of home construction is good. Value is good. Antionette is very competent professional!

HOA is dis-organized. K. Hov does not have quality control personnel to inspect home construction before each home is delivered to its buyer. K. Hov expects homeowners to be thoroughly familiar with technology (appliances, internet, wifi, security and etc.) used in their home, K. Hov's use of third -party contractors and subcontractors could benefit from closer supervision.

Beware of the tactics to lure you in with incentives then they rip them away at the final stages and end up thinking your home was 1 price since all the early contracts have the incentive then they shave it away until you end up being $30,000 over. The incentive line is BS!!

Curtis in the sales office made purchasing our home an easy transaction. Carlos made sure that all of our concerns were addressed and repaired, even after the home purchase was complete.

I've had seven homes built in the pas 35 years This is by far the worst. The quality is the worst of the worst

Beautiful community and wonderful neighbors!

Very disappointed with quality of home, a disappointment only made worse by a lack of urgency/efficiency in correcting reported service issues.

There have been over a dozen work orders filed to repair faulty/hasty installation. Some issues take on a life of their own and go on and on waiting for final results.

Need better follow up and more service employees.

Poor quality (cheap) materials, terrible workmanship, not responsive to warranty requests been waiting over 90 days to get replacements and repairs. Could have spent money elsewhere for more value and service when needed.

All building contacts were great. Very responsive and professional.

Mortgage material required was not easy. They wanted everything yesterday but took a very long time to review. Once they reviewed the information they required an immediate response was needed. The house is fine but the trim work is not what it should be. They painted over dry wall dust on baseboards and doors.
