Home needs to be better inspected before closing for defects. Poor quality control. Far too many items for adjustment and repair that should have been taken care of prior to closing.

May not want to use mortgage branch of company due to poor interfacing.

Hello I moved in November of 25, I am sorry to say this has not been a good experience, it seems the focus is on Speed not quality Just to name a few Microwave Was faulty: had construction dry wall in vent Paint wasn't completes in varying spots The massive cracks going down the basement stairs allow light to show through Deck and stairs on rear of house are slanted and getting worse Shower pole for Bathroom 1 was broken never repaired The way Sod / Grass is laid you will twist your ankles ground is not even Not a good experience with the 2nd installed sales team after Barbara was switched from assisting me thats where the Down Hill started and its getting worse daily ... We love our house. The only negative is that the workmanship for the interior walls isn't great. Our model home has tall, expansive walls and there are a couple of bad wall seams. As delivered the house was bright white and the flawed seams were not detectable but after we pained the walls, the defects really showed up. This is disappointing because although KHov will fix the seams at the 11-month mark, it means we will have to pay to repaint. Also, the kitchen cabinets are very attractive but a bit light on substance (meaning they don't feel all that strong), especially the trash drawer. As for the overall structure, we have been through some major windstorms and the house is rock solid, no creaking or weird sounds which gives us great comfort. ... More

From start to finish, everyone that I encountered was very pleasant and professional.

I'd like to give praise to Susan in the sales office, and particularly to Jacob, the Asst. Construction Mgr. Susan was a pleasure to work with. Jacob is a gem. He is everywhere on this property and always has time and suggestions to help us acclimate.

Diane was very responsive and worked hard to make our experience great. Tim was very helpful with the walkthrough and responded to all of our questions. Very happy with our home, but had an issue with leaks in the irrigation system and missing curtain rod brackets and floor sideboards.

My sales person was let go 2 months before the house was finished, The marketing collateral is outdated but that's where they point you as a guide. The construction manager forgot to call and invite us to the pre-drywall walk through. The process that needs the most work is KHOV financing. The rates are on the low edge of the market but those savings may not be worth the frustration and culture you'll face when dealing with the people and processes. The quality of the built house and community are 5 stars.

Workmanship and quality of construction is a bit disappointing. Water pressure for the “marketed spa” experience with the additions spa option is disappointing…water pressure is so low.

We are very happy with the purchase of our new home. The upgraded appliances are a nice bonus. The high ceilings lend to an open air feeling and brings in more natural light in the house which was important to the decision of the purchase. The neighborhood suits our needs with wide sidewalks for walking and bicycling. The clubhouse is fun. We are very pleased with the response of the K Hov team when we have an issue that needs attention.

The condominium location/view sells itself. K Hov Four Seasons Kent Island rushed condominium closing from December '25 to November '25, to beat the Thanksgiving holiday and save on extra month of costs. The rush job shows throughout the never ending blue tape initial walk-thru (used flat paint that still couldn't hide sloppy caulking/painting throughout, poor dry wall installation, misaligned/crooked fixtures, workers used & left my refrigerator filthy, etc), remaining items at final walk-thru (told that if I wanted items corrected it would delay my closing scheduled two hours after the final walk-thru). Sales Rep (Dylan) was almost useless. Slow to respond (if at all), - cost me a $5K buyer incentive savings and routinely provided misleading/incorrect information. ... More

Was led to believe green treed land behind home would remain. Now it has been razzed and will be built out. A berm with foliage would be helpful and appreciated. Traffic congestion to follow??? Home owners in the dark about what is going on there, including Hovnanian's staff, ie; sales and HOA and are reluctant to find out. Unsatisfactory.

A quality home with friendly sale’s and construction staff willing to assist the buyer during the sale, build and after completion of your home.

Our sales person was wonderful, he went over every detail and sent pictures of ongoing construction. We were kept abreast of pending completion date and the necessary procedures needed for settlement.

Everything was very good except for getting a khav montage. Find your own financial institution.

I have never had a similar experience with a builder and I have owned 10+ homes with at least 4 of them new. I felt like the builder and their employees were doing me a favor by letting me buy one of their houses. Every question seemed like it was an inconvenience to have to answer. They were absolutely unaccommodating to our schedule on an item.

Warranty corrections are hit or miss with the vendors. We feel like there should be better control over the quality of the initial build. Some of the things that should be common sense weren’t accounted for. We love the neighborhood and the vibe.

The process of getting the mortgage was extremely trying. I felt as though I was being treated like a bad child. I was given tasks and then told that they weren't completed properly. There were at least 3 different people associated with this process on the K Hovnanian side. I was asked questions that I felt were stupid and none of their business. I was totally disgusted with the experience.

The entire process from purchase to move in went smoothly, with no delays. Our interactions with the builder’s team has been excellent. They respond to you in a prompt manner, always courteous and professional. Most importantly they deliver on their promises and keep you apprised of the status of any issues. My family loves the new home and we see ourselves enjoying living here for many years.

Our experience with Zack was superb. Kept us up to date, responded to questions and concerns quickly, was exceptional and competent to work with. K.Hov should give him a raise he deserves one.

We bought our forever home recently with KHov group and the whole experience was pleasant. All paperwork dealt in a timely fashion. Prompt responses from the warranty team has been a wonderful support. Thank you!

Your team is very professional and attentive to the owner’s needs. When things are ask of them , they make sure we are taken care of.

My experience was average overall. I like the model layout but now that i m living in the home there are many quality issues I did not expect, While there is home warranty, I have spent a cold winter with heating issues and responsiveness on resolution has been substandard.

Short cuts and low quality materials. Flat paint used throughout the house. No insulation on interior walls. Fresh air return that makes a TERRIBLE noise even with the slightest of wind. Even though there is a higher quality unit to use, the will not replace it.
