My home is lovely and well-made. If I stayed within the 4 walls, I might feel more positive overall. However, there is a huge building campaign going on and the beauty of the property is being sliced up into an army of small homes. This was not apparent to me in the artist rendering of the property when I was looking at the property. Construction trash is blown around and there are discarded bottles and trash on the grounds. I loved the birds and natural beauty of the water and grasses, but there is no way to get out to the water unless one walks all the way to the clubhouse. The buying experience was great! The house needs a lot of work. We are having trouble getting anything fixed. Its been 3 months since closing and we have yet to move in. The quality of workmanship is poor. The value is yet to be determined as we have yet to move in. The builder’s team is very slow to respond to issues. Promises at closing have yet to be addressed. If buying from this builder, its best that I don't say.

House was not ready but we were rushed to close with false promises. After closing we had to wait two months for missing kitchen cabinets to be installed. The bathroom mirror over one sink was measured wrong and has not been corrected despite several requests. Over 12 windows have deep scratches. The exterior paint is peeling away because the stucco was not primed. The drywall in several areas was poorly installed. The list goes on but it is upsetting to write.

Sloppy finishes, poor materials, poor supervision, drainage not in accordance to approved drawings. Will not recommend to a friend.

The condos generally have views that surpass the homes. Living in a construction zone takes some adjustment, but watching the site preparation and the building construction is fascinating.

Overall it was fine! Seems like national builders all are about the same. There will always be issues regarding quality of construction. Luckily haven't had bad issues and for the most part they have been responsive. But beware if something breaks because they didn't install properly, you will be the scapegoat for why you don't get reimburse for the damaged item! Not sure quality materials are used always unlike a smaller builder we worked with - no comparison really. But I guess there are trade-offs with everything - it's a 55+ community that is active and lots of options to partake in! So... ... More

Shannon S. was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She did an outstanding job in helping us in the design and selection process of our new home. She guided us through the entire process and was very accurate in helping us make sound decisions.

I was taught to start with a positive, so I will say the sales staff at the on-site sales office was alway responsive and available. From there everything went down hill. Months of delays and poor craftsmanship has been then norm. After 3 months of ownership we still are waiting to have our house finished. Examples: first time the tub was turned on it flooded our main bedroom because the contractor forgot to connect the water. Our entire backsplash in the kitchen needed to be removed and replace due to poor craftsmanship, and we are still waiting to have our garage doors painted.

I bought in the time of covid, so everything was delayed. Not to blame anyone. In general everybody was very helpful and nice

We did not have major issues when we moved in. We met once a week with the PM and were able to review check the constr as it progressed Closing had some bumps. It seemed like communi issues related to the wording to appear on the title

The sales process was poor at best. Salesman was either not knowledgeable about the product, lazy or downright deceitful. The number of “misunderstanding” were unacceptable. As to our home, it was rushed to completion to meet a fiscal year end deadline as its condition reflected it. To be fair most of the issues have been resolved and we do like our home and community. It is just a shame that the process was so painful.

Ken (Sales) was amazing. He addressed or questions and concerns quickly and made us comfortable with the process. Kristy (Home Warranty) is an exemplary assessment to KHov. We can not express how wonderful she has been and instrumental in addressing our needs through to resolution and closure.

I'm very pleased with my new home. They make the process very easy and they kept you informed through the whole process.

I informed about 4 issues but it was not fixed. 1)There are unpainted parts in lanai, nobody came and painted it 2)There are concrete on lanai windows, nobody came and cleaned it. 3)Master bathroom restroom sliding door has issue but nobody came and fixed it. 4)Oven does not have cover at the bottom but nobody came and replaced it.

We felt it was a rush job to get this home closed and it showed in workmanship. There were delays due to supply chain issues which is understandable but when it neared the end of the month, it seemed anything outstanding was rushed or not finished (cabinets). Alison in sales and the service manager were very professional and helpful.

We came several times before purchasing and were very excited to relocate. Sales staff was very good. Design person was excellent. Builder not so much. It took 3 months after closing to get brick on front porch...Still not done. Even though houses yet to close getting done. A lot of excuses. No quality control. The folks that live here that we have met are great, so just know that there are frustrations with the building and it hasn't just been with us. Standard has dropped.

Over all happy but major problems exist. Noise in HVAC system keeping my wife awake at night. Been addressed but not fixed. Shower pan cracked multiple places yet we are told its not under warranty. We have only been here 3 months. Stove top not secured to counter.

Andrew was the most responsive in getting my issues fixed and completed. I think the workmanship was not up the the standard as touted by the KHov mission statement. I was overwhelmingly disappointed.

THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN LESS THAN BAD, STARTED WITH THE MORTGAGE THEN THE DESIGN CENTER AND THE OVERALL CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. AT CLOSING THERE WERE TOO MANY OPEN ITEMS TO CLOSE ,SOME OF WHICH REMAIN OPEN. 2 APPLIANCES ARE NON WORKING, NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF ANY ISSUES.

The buying experience was great. We were kept informed of the building progress every step of the way. There were some issues after we moved in, but they are being worked on. Yes, we would buy from KHovnanian again.

Unfortunately, Buyers should skip the hype by Hovnanian. They are unreliable and untrustworthy from beginning to end. Commitments aren't kept, workmanship is sloppy and unprofessional, building codes are ignored (in our case completely missed) and there's a persistent, constant need to keep after them even AFTER the home is completed. These are for STRUCTURAL items, not just cosmetics, Look carefully.....

Dominic and James were wonderful overseeing the building process and always answered any questions I had. I am disappointed in the upgraded appliances that I got. I was not told that the upgraded microwave was not 1100 watts. And for the extra money I paid it should have been. I am not happy that I have two sets of utilities in my front yard. It does not appear that any other property has this and I paid extra for my lot. I do love my house though. Never having built a home before I would have done things differently.

Overall we had a good experience

There were Many items on the walk through punch list and continued list as we lived in the home. Carelessness of installers in not protecting surfaces while construction going on. A very messy worksite was viewed by us. The put in some of the correct cabinets and some not. That is just careless. Unfortunately the correct wood cabinet under the cooktop can not be installed due to size of appropriate wood cabinet would hit gas line. We live with the cabinet that is not upgraded due to cabinet company not customizing the size to fit in without hitting gas line. Individuals have been wonderful in addressing other issues.
