While I am very excited to be in my new home, I am very disappointed with the fact that the laundry room water connections were clogged with dirt. This required multiple appointments with the plumber which resulted in the wall being opened. I am still waiting for the drywall to be repaired and the washing machine to be replaced. It has been 5 weeks since I moved in.

There is a lot to like about this house and unfortunately those things are overshadowed by some negative aspects of the buying and building process. Our closing was delayed 3 months and rather than delay any longer, we closed and moved in with multiple items unfinished and areas needing to be fixed. (Here's a sampling of problems: missing towel bars, crooked walls, damaged flooring, damaged kitchen cabinet door, backward closet door, damaged window screen, unrepaired holes in pantry & pantry shelf missing brackets.) Ours is not an isolated situation; others in the development report similar experiences. It's my understanding that these types of issues and delays are typical because builders (not just K. Hov) are unable to get reliable trades people and they run into problems with utility companies. However, the continuing delays and slow pace of repairs 6 weeks after moving in seems ridiculous and I have to wonder why they continue to start on new houses when previously built houses still need work. ... The picking of the designs for the home, the process was good but somethings were not explained and I assumed were included in the home, I wanted a larger patio and thought that I mentioned it but it was not done, I did not pay extra for it but would have and planned on it but I guess I never explained myself.

Overall we have been happy with our purchase. The Sales person Adam was great. the mortgage folks were good, but the process is tedious due to all of the government requirements and regulations. Our home was built and delivered on time. We had a punch list of items to have corrected post closing and are still working thru some of those issues. Neighborhood, neighbors and amenities are great!

MMy salesperson Dylan was professional and helpful with everything from initial contract to closing. However after moving in I discovered. how bad the workmanship was. The painters oversprayed every window, the caulking seemed like it had been done by a first grader. Paint and caulking on virtually every floor. The cleaning crew was awful. Dylan the assistant construction supervisor is a gem. Spent hours trying to get everything cleaned up but there is still a lot to do. Now will have to depend on service to fix stuff

We had a good amount of resistance with the construction manager. But once we involved Jenn, things improved. As an example we still have issues of water retention at our front driveway-not yet sorted out

Stacey is awesome James is great, once you get passed his hard shell So many little things were not well done. If it was just a few, it would have been fine. But add them all up and it doesn't make for a great experience. We are moved in for a month and still finding things that shouldn't be.

We loved receive consistent updates from Tom and always knowing what was going on with the house. I feel the quality wasn't the greatest in the drywall and also the placement of the electric outlets was not well design. Thanks

Would I do it again? Yes probably. My sales girl Lisa was wonderful. Jocelyn at the design center has the patience of a saint and extreme helpful. Lastly my construction manager Nick simply outstanding. With that being said I believe the design center should know the models a little better with lighting details. What would work in different spots. It is also very hard to pick out carpet, flooring, lighting, paint, siding and fixtures . Well actually everything in one day. It is helpful to go the design center first before your appointment to look at things first. I was very impressed with some of the quality and workmanship however some of it leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure how you leave gaps in the drywall above a door frame. If the house is painted more than once I would think it would cover white areas of the drywall. The painting could be much better and they need to cover the counter tops when touching up the paint. Paint sprayings on new quartz counters. I know they are initially covered. Not thrilled with my concrete work. I spent 7 hours over two days scrubbing and scraping the concrete off my siding and sliding door. They need to cover these areas before pouring the cement. The windows both top and bottom should tilt for easy cleaning. Keeping in mind it's a 55plus community. I love my GE Profile appliances so much more than the Kitchen Aid ones I left. I love the layout of my house and the storage it has. My favorite is my ceiling to floor brick/stone fireplace and my kitchen cabinets. The pool area is so pretty , my neighbors are great. Cant't wait for the walking trail and dog park when it's completed. It's a give and take and nothing is perfect and we're all human. Kelsey was wonderful to work with; also she introduced me to Rider Realty to sell my home which was a great experience. I have been disappointed in that fact I've been in my home five weeks and still have no appliances that are mine (loaners)! I also have a messed up weather stripping on the front door that is still not fixed! There has been no ten day follow up which we were told would happen and the AC vendor still has not contacted us like we were told. Overall I love the house but little items make the experience less than great!

James did a good job of keeping us informed.

Still waiting on things to be fixed. Screen door, paint. GC is responsive, but painters suck.

Our home is a quality build. This is our 5th new home and this home ranks as one of the best built.

Finishing touches were less than expected. Overall, satisfied with our dwelling.

Still too early. Waiting to see if critical issues are addressed.

Yes, would recommend, but would like to see more attention to details, would prevent problems later on.

Overall my experience with this home purchase has been good. The only issue I may voice will be the builders response to correcting building flaws. If this occurs in a timely manner my experience will continue to be good, if not it will result in a very poor experience.

The onsite sales associate made promises she could not fulfill. This happened with several issues, including locking in the price of my home and included home features, to list two. The construction management team -- Trey and Matt -- were superb. They were quality oriented and responsive to questions and concerns.

The builders try very hard to bring everything together.

The sales associates were wonderful. Knowledgeable,helpful, insightful! Our contractor was helpful on many levels. The mortgage company was none of these!

The buying experience with Shannon was outstanding. She was professional, knowledgeable and responsive to issues. The follow up after the final walkthrough was nonexistent. Just poor. I was told a replacement cabinet door was due in and someone would be out to install it the next day. A month later, still not done. Hole in garage wall, I had my handyman fix. Cracked driveway pad near street still not fixed. Makes it hard to recommend KHov to friends looking to buy here.

Lacking in quality of workmanship. Trades do not take pride in their workmanship.

Very nice home and staff was very good keeping us up to date as it was being built. Several examples of sloppiness including a terrible grout job and sloppy painting which made it seem like they were in a hurry. Hopefully the grout will be fixed and the sloppy paint will be corrected.

The house is beautiful, however, there was some flaws that needs addressing. I've only been here two weeks so I'm trying to see how long it takes to address them.
