Dawn the sales person and Pam, the selection specialist we’re great. The settlement experience was frustrating and disappointing.

Working with Eban and Clinton was a pleasure very professional. For Us the experience was great!

Things were done improperly!! So many mistakes on every item of our house. We can never get a straight answer as to who we call to fix an item. We are still waiting for floors to be fixed, dishwasher missing a piece, garage door opener missing, outside spigot missing, holes in wall board need to be fixed and repainted. Our GKD was a shock. The house was construction dirty, we received no booklets on our appliance, Nothing was included regarding clubhouse laws and rules. Sink and garbage disposal not hooked up. I could go on and on. It’s literally been a nightmare!! We are too old to have to go through everything that happened. K.Hovnanian needs to learn how to treat a customer from start to finish. A long and laborious process. Some very bright spots. Sales agent Ken superb. 2nd mortgage agent Jessica superb (1st agent was full of herself and not helpful - I went up the chain & said she had to be replaced - I was then given the courteous, responsive and helpful Jessica). KHov mortgage agent Aaron top notch, could not have been better. Problems elsewhere - construction supervisor not even mediocre. Whenever I or my agent requested a meeting he had an excuse not to meet. Finally met him on the "pre-closing orientation"!. I was underwhelmed. Condescending and full of himself. Apparently thought I had never owned a home before (I have owned at least 10). After closing experience has been poor, warranty work slow, daily life adversely affected by KHov not monitoring the action of subcontractors. They routinely park construction and employee vehicles on the road leading to our court causing delays in ingress and egress. I have seen subs stealing electricity from home owners. The subs are not monitored or supervised by KHov construction managers at all it seems. I am satisfied with the house, but beware of being kept informed of construction progress, having to deal with unsupervised and monitored contractor employees and poor follow up on warranty work. By the way, I am not being a disgruntled buyer - I like this location and community, I am a retired U.S. Navy judge advocate, 25 years of service to this country. But all of the issues noted above could be prevented with some on site KHov management and supervision. I have advised 2 and 3 star admirals on international law and all legal matters. I know how to manage subordinates. KHov has not shown me that ability. I would be more than happy to speak with upper management about the concerns mentioned. ... More

I absolutely love it here! Beautiful grounds, low maintenance, perfect villa for me and very responsive. Quality materials. Best of all...8 minutes from Disney and I can see the fireworks from my house.

Our experience for the most part was a very good experience. The sales person was fantastic! The project manager was very attentive, a great communicator and really seemed to care that things were done right. We have only one complaint and that was dealing with the design center on one specific item that we are still upset they would not comply with. The design center rep was very nice but absolutely would not allow us to have vinyl flooring in our greatroom/living room and back door. We were told its because they have to lay one piece without breaks and there is not a piece that will go from the front of the house to the back. Have flooring and not carpet by the back door was very important as we have a dog that we will let out that way and will get worn very fast. Then we moved into our home only to find out that there are several breaks in the vinyl from room to room. We are still very angry about this. ... More

Everything went well, and I was kept abreast of everything that was going on. I really appreciated that. The staff was excellent, any questions or issues that I had the staff took the time to answer and explain the process to me.

Homes are very well made

Many discrepancies found during pre-close walk still undone on closing day. Overall detail workmanship shows lack of attention to detail.

We had visited several other sites similar to ours within a 50-75 mile radios. We always returned back to K Hovnanian all within a four to six month period. We were able to walk through the model homes as often as needed for decision making; we were always treated as if it were our first time coming to the site. From the purchasing signature to the closing signature we were met with an above and beyond excellent customer service experience. We are comfortably happy that we settled in our new community at K Hovnanian and we have made recommendation to our friends who are in the market as well. All the people at K Hovanian Homes are wonderful. Unfortunately the build quality is not. The Sales Person, Loan Manager and Project Manager have all been extremely helpful and friendly, and approached our interactions with a personal touch. The designers have created floor plans that are creative and livable, and maximize the use of space. However the contractors let this team down, with numerous examples of sloppy work, poor quality and unprofessional finishing, particularly with concrete, drywall, painting, tiling and finish work. I have to keep reminding myself that these are cookie-cutter homes that are built down to a price rather than up to a standard. I realize each contract is probably awarded to the lowest bid, and contractors want to be in and out of each home as quickly as possible, with minimum time, minimum cost and maximum profit. It appears that construction speed and volume are prioritized over quality. Other mass produced products such as consumer goods, cars, electronics and appliances focus on quality and customer satisfaction. These homes are priced at the premium end of the market where quality and attention to detail should be expected, but both are missing in the initial build. The Project Manager has been diligent in getting contractors back to correct and re-work areas of concern, but this is time consuming and frustrating. I would recommend KHov for their people and floor plan designs. But pay close attention to build quality as the home is being constructed and hopefully you can address issues before moving in. ... Since these were not normal times, there were supply issues, which delayed getting into the house.

Sales staff unresponsive after we contracted. Construction crew stretched way too thin with so many simultaneous builds. Still waiting for many punch list items to be addressed.

The purchase of our home was very easy and Wendy in the sales office was always available

The members of the sales staff were very good, however there is no option to make structural changes to the models offered. The model homes are well appointed, but some of the finishes used are not available. The process for choosing finishes and purchasing our home went smoothly. Supply chain issues delayed completing everything in our home until one month after closing, but the construction manager was responsive to our needs. We were still able to take occupancy of the house the same month originally promised

The workmanship is below any reasonable standard of home building. The builder clearly maximizes their profit while cutting corners on construction wherever possible.

Good experience. Kept informed and was on schedule

Our home is a quality build. This is our 5th new home and this home ranks as one of the best built.

Their attention to a planned community and build out.

Overall great experience, some delays due to supply chain issues but the builder did everything they could to get us into the home in a timely manner. We were updated every week by Wendy in the office along with pictures of building progress. Wendy was very responsive to any communication we had with her and if she didn’t know the answer she used her resources to get this the answer. Great builder to work with and would recommend buying from them.

Real solid construction and management was responsive to us. The construction mgr and sales office personnel have become good friends.

Finishing touches were less than expected. Overall, satisfied with our dwelling.

The sales office was very helpful in keeping me informed about the entire process and answering my questions.

Paint was done by unprofessional workers. Was corrected after we moved in Expensive kitchen cabinets was installed by unprofessional personnel. We are still waiting for the installation of the correct moldings and doors adjustments

KHOV exceeded our expectations for the buying, building and closing experiences.
