All the people at K Hovanian Homes are wonderful. Unfortunately the build quality is not. The Sales Person, Loan Manager and Project Manager have all been extremely helpful and friendly, and approached our interactions with a personal touch. The designers have created floor plans that are creative and livable, and maximize the use of space. However the contractors let this team down, with numerous examples of sloppy work, poor quality and unprofessional finishing, particularly with concrete, drywall, painting, tiling and finish work. I have to keep reminding myself that these are cookie-cutter homes that are built down to a price rather than up to a standard. I realize each contract is probably awarded to the lowest bid, and contractors want to be in and out of each home as quickly as possible, with minimum time, minimum cost and maximum profit. It appears that construction speed and volume are prioritized over quality. Other mass produced products such as consumer goods, cars, electronics and appliances focus on quality and customer satisfaction. These homes are priced at the premium end of the market where quality and attention to detail should be expected, but both are missing in the initial build. The Project Manager has been diligent in getting contractors back to correct and re-work areas of concern, but this is time consuming and frustrating. Since these were not normal times, there were supply issues, which delayed getting into the house.

Sales staff unresponsive after we contracted. Construction crew stretched way too thin with so many simultaneous builds. Still waiting for many punch list items to be addressed.

The purchase of our home was very easy and Wendy in the sales office was always available

The members of the sales staff were very good, however there is no option to make structural changes to the models offered. The model homes are well appointed, but some of the finishes used are not available. The process for choosing finishes and purchasing our home went smoothly. Supply chain issues delayed completing everything in our home until one month after closing, but the construction manager was responsive to our needs. We were still able to take occupancy of the house the same month originally promised

The workmanship is below any reasonable standard of home building. The builder clearly maximizes their profit while cutting corners on construction wherever possible.

Our home is a quality build. This is our 5th new home and this home ranks as one of the best built.

Overall great experience, some delays due to supply chain issues but the builder did everything they could to get us into the home in a timely manner. We were updated every week by Wendy in the office along with pictures of building progress. Wendy was very responsive to any communication we had with her and if she didn’t know the answer she used her resources to get this the answer. Great builder to work with and would recommend buying from them.

Real solid construction and management was responsive to us. The construction mgr and sales office personnel have become good friends.

Finishing touches were less than expected. Overall, satisfied with our dwelling.

The sales office was very helpful in keeping me informed about the entire process and answering my questions.

Paint was done by unprofessional workers. Was corrected after we moved in Expensive kitchen cabinets was installed by unprofessional personnel. We are still waiting for the installation of the correct moldings and doors adjustments

KHOV exceeded our expectations for the buying, building and closing experiences.

Our construction manager sent us weekly pictures and updates since we were in Connecticut. He put our minds at ease with the progress of the construction

After a wind storm, a lot of the wood trim that was in garage had to be replaced (after it was installed) never should have been installed!

You get what you pay for!

Our salesperson Barbara was great! Always responded to our questions and if she did not know, she found out. Keep up on project manager, does not respond within a reasonable time. Closed on January 31st and still living with mud in the yard while houses built after ours have been completely graded and landscaped.

All questions were answered. As far as we are thinking about it. Pay raise for everyone.

Great experience with everyone involved from sales to service manager. All very friendly with consistent response punctuality.

We love our new home. Everyone we worked with was great including the Sales Consultant, Construction Project Manager and Home Service Representative. The process went smoothly, and they kept up informed regularly.

Two and a half months after we signed our contract we were contacted with the news that the design we had chosen could not be built on the lot we selected. After trying negotiations with them we agreed to change our model so that we could keep our lot. (By the time we were notified almost all the lots in our section had been claimed, including the most desirable.) Also, we were not given a projected closing date until 2 - 3 weeks prior, which made planning the move hard for us. Yes, would recommend, but would like to see more attention to details, would prevent problems later on.
