Tim kept us informed during all phases. He responded to our concerns and questions in a timely manner. Tim turned over to us a fine house which we are happy to make our home. I will recommend him to others.

The builders try very hard to bring everything together.

Get a realistic closing date

I can only express my feelings and how I was treated. This person as far as I am concerned deserves a hundred stars. He presents himself well, knows what has to be done, and it gets done. When I called with questions, the phone calls were always returned. great guy, and I loved working with him

We can't say enough good things about our home building experience. From Monica in the Sales office, Jocelyn in the Design Center and to our Project Manager Nick it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We even closed on our home one week earlier than predicted. Great job everybody! Keep up the good work!

There was misrepresentation by the selling rep on our property, Buyer pays for their mistakes, contract covers them legally from any recourse by the buyer. They can return your deposit and walk away. Closed on a home that is still not complete on many issues and no promises on when they will be completed. My painter commented on the poor finishing on drywall throughout the home. They are building homes too fast without regard for quality, they proclaim themselves a high end builder, not the case. Treat their customers very poorly.

In general the workmenship was not what I expected.

We were new to new construction. There was no pricing or details about all the "extras" so we had no idea what the house would ultimately cost us. The selling agent was not well informed and did not communicate about many options that we later found were available (e.g. lighting!). A lot of pressure to make a decision immediately or the price would go up. We had to make large financial decisions without full information. Now that we are in the house we are finding issues with leaks and missing parts but the service department is unresponsive. We did not discover till we closed that we needed to take care of our outside trees and plants that we were not even allowed to select. The HOA is MIA. ... More

The sales associates were wonderful. Knowledgeable,helpful, insightful! Our contractor was helpful on many levels. The mortgage company was none of these!

The design team did an excellent job picking the most liked choices to install in my home. I loved everything

Quality of construction is poor.

From the initial encounter at the sales office through the closing, the transition into my new home was seamless. Everyone involved in the acquisition of my home was not only kind and considerate, but very knowledgeable and professional. The quality and workmanship of my home is unsurpassed. The project manager proved accessible and accommodating to my needs. My overall experience with KHOV is very positive. I highly recommend this builder and will not hesitate to buy from them should the need arise in the future.

So far it has been great

With high demand for their product and supply chain issues, I think the team here, from sales through construction managed very well. There were a few hiccups along the way with supply chain issues, but the C.M. handled them as expeditiously as possible. Communication could be improved, but the final product was as we thought it would be. Finishes, especially the kitchen and baths were above par. You have to remember you are working with a tract developer and getting familiar with the various upgrades and what you can and cannot have done is important to a less stressful process. We love the model options offered for this 55+ community. The variety of floor plans can suit anyone's taste. Opportunities in the workmanship were repaired prior to us moving in but since we have been in the response has been very slow when issues have been reported. Care and attention must be addressed on the overall grounds in the development.

The walk through was terrible and follow up by Brent has been worse. We need an easier way to communicate with the higher ups in this organization. The sales process was great Anna was great but after that the level of service has dropped off since our previous purchase in this community. There have been other quality issues as well with electrical and low voltage. and now we have a lot drainage issue Brent refuses to address. I would like Steve to call me.

The buying experience with Shannon was outstanding. She was professional, knowledgeable and responsive to issues. The follow up after the final walkthrough was nonexistent. Just poor. I was told a replacement cabinet door was due in and someone would be out to install it the next day. A month later, still not done. Hole in garage wall, I had my handyman fix. Cracked driveway pad near street still not fixed. Makes it hard to recommend KHov to friends looking to buy here.

Really enjoyable experience, Wendy made the process easy and communicated progress clearly including picture of the progress. Great experience!

As with a new build, You must be "patient" and be educated on how a new build of your home transforms. This is a new norm unfortunately of delays both from materials and the labor workforce. The problem is with every builder in the industry. The end result was well worth the wait. Communication is the key to a positive outcome.

With a new home, there are different problems. When we have a problem, I call it in, and then the repair happens. Very nice to see they stand behind their workers.

We have built 2 new homes prior to this experience, this was the worst experience we've had. This builder is focused on their financials rather than the customer and building a quality home and a trusting relationship with the customer. Even with Covid-19 excuses, we had to close without the home being completed. Sales: There were items not disclosed that should have been. We ordered and paid for a 9 foot sliding glass door upgrade that was represented in a model with 2 moving door panels and 1 stationary panel. We received a 9 foot door with 1 moving panel that open 26 inches and 2 stationary panels. Structurally, we were informed the concrete slab cannot be broken up. However, during construction ours had to be broken up in 5 separate locations due to incorrect placements. Our salesman never followed up after structural design. Mortgage: continually requested the same information over and over even when it was already provided. Looking back we would never use this mortgage company again - most difficult we've experienced. Without our knowledge, KHOV Mortgage contacted their preferred real estate lawyers and insurance company as if we were not given a choice. Construction: We believe our builder was overwhelmed with 20 homes being built simultaneously in various stages of construction (this exceeds any accepted standard on span of control). This resulted in poor oversight by the builder and lower quality of construction. As of this writing we are 30+ days after closing with still incomplete construction (1 unusable shower, 2 unusable sinks). During our pre-drywall inspection, broken trusses were discovered, misplaced electrical outlets and misplaced drain pipes in the slab. Referring to the 9 foot 3 panel sliding glass door (above), we were informed by Bob Citrolo that a decision was made in 2019 to discontinue this option, yet the sales team as late as Oct 2020 were still selling this option as described above (2 moving panels, 1 stationary panel). Transparency and honesty do not seem to be qualities that KHOV instills in their culture. It is all about how many homes they can close each month to meet their financial projections. ... More

Great experience in coordination of mortgage insurance and closing. Value is good. Slow to resolve maintainence items indentified just after closing.

I have had many concerns on the workmanship of my new home especially when it comes to plumbing and framing issues as many of my walls appear to be crooked. I still don’t having water to my refrigerator after 30 days. Plumbers have not returned. Fixtures in bathroom shower and tub actually pulled away from the walls and had to be fixed. Quartz kitchen island was installed with marks. My driveway has a crack in it. My construction manager James tries to be responsive and is aware of my concerns working to correct. I truly wish I could have written a more glowing review. Perhaps when everything has been repaired and completed correctly. ... More
