The weatherstripping on the front door began peeling off after we lived in the house for one month. Obviously this was caused by either poor workmanship or a defective product. We did not appreciate Michael’s refusal to issue a work order because he claimed we damaged it and repair was our responsibility. When workers are in the area, what kind of service is this?

Conner and Vicki were maid the hole process very comfortable. Always felt they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I could tell we their best interest at heart. The whole process went without issues or problems. Quality of workmanship was excellent and any minor problems were promptly addressed and corrected.

Love the new home. Wish there were options to make the home smart (lighting, thermostat, locks, alarm, etc...). High quality workmanship except paint quality could have been better (better quality paint material, attention to detail...drips, blemishes on the surface, especially molding and drips on the flooring). I would have rated higher in Quality if painting were more meticulous/higher degree of attention to detail. Regarding responsiveness of issues, easy to raise requests for service, not all issues have resulted in response / closure.

Love the house, well built with somethings that need correction, but we'll get there.

Several issues with trim, drywall, cabinet, countertop fit/finish issues that should have been caught before the house was handed over, but Amanda has been great on getting everything fixed as quickly as possible. Overall pretty happy with the house, very happy with KHov’s response.

All of our questions were answered. The service group was very helpful and the response times were great.

We love living here and the community/property is beautiful.

We were dissatisfied. Workmanship not great. Paint over sand dust, terrrible caulking, siding reversed, trim work fair. Not willing to change any item if a spec home. They have this attitude - any issue must be seen beyond 6ft from every angle in order to be considered for repair. Problems are passed along.

My overall experience was good. I had very little problems when it came to closing they kept me abreast of everything that was happening and I think that the Khov is a wonderful company to buy a home with thank you

We were very happy with our K.Hov home buying experience. The sales team and construction supervisor were in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. K.Hov has also been very quick to remedy any issues we have had.

My garage floor has terrible cracks all over. The cracks were there when I moved into my house. I am disappointed with the quality of the materials used in my home. When you pay over one half of a million for a new home I expected much more.

Our experience purchasing the home was terrific. The process was seamless, and everyone involved was professional and efficient. However, the follow-up after the ten-day inspection was not as efficient, as we are still waiting for something to be corrected after three months. The quality of the home is excellent, and we are pleased with our decision to purchase a K Hov home.

There were a few issues and just general questions after the final inspection. Responsiveness to all concerns was immediate and without question. Thank you for all your help and support.

Make sure you check the drywall work very close there's a reason you can't use a light at walk through.

You have to make yourself a priority with the home warranty department and continually bother them to schedule appointments The contract was poorly written, and also contradicted itself when highlighted the conflicting terms nothing was done Quality of materials is quite disappointing for example, the flat walls, air conditioning unit vents and surprising how many problems at close where things were not working such as the garage door electrical lights, master bathroom, drain exterior drain and my names were highlighted in the punch list. Had to fly back a week later to do the walk through. We planned it for one date and they missed it. Had to buy another airline ticket to come back the following week. On my $$$.

I have been in the business for 45 years and some of the finishes are among the worst I have seen. The caulking and painting were and are horrrendous. Hovnanian needs to screen its subcontractors better. They have both on every possible surface in the home. I have no issues with the construction team as well as the sales team. They both were very responsive to our needs and requests. Overall I like how the home was built and the majority of the materials used but not how they were treated by the painting contractor on site. We were expecting a much more professional job, considering the cost paid for the home. I will do the repairs and fixes myself when it comes time for the yearly punch list. ... More

It was great there were a few things I didn’t know about Arizona laws . But it worked out in the end. You can’t move in until the home is registered in your name at the county. The get back to you to correct things in the home, after you move in are none existent, been here 5 mouths and still haven’t contacted us.

Some of the craftsmen ship is great, however I’ve found a lot of cut corners and poor quality. Price of the house and amenities is great, community is outstanding! I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to live here, just stay on top of your new house when it’s being built.

Love the home and community

The build process interactions with construction foreman and sales people were good and provided an idea of progress from design towards completion. The lot premium was a bit excessive considering the highway noise. Then we were not allowed to specify materials which would remediate it, without changing the appearance. The sales/ construction team dropped the ball on the number of gas taps and forced us to use their electric appliances which altered the back up generator requirements. The Media port installations used twice the amount of materials that were required and used miniscule wire gauge for the speakers, which limited the low frequency response of the speakers. The responsiveness of the construction crew to issues and questions was excellent. Explanation of construction progress and reviews were also excellent. Delivery was smooth. I’ve been in the building industry for over 35 years and was impressed with the attention to detail
