The Home prices were variable, up and they go down however, if the home isn’t sold within a matter of weeks, the prices go down to those buyers who can now get lower great price for the same home you would have paid additional $20K. It’s now $20K less affordability. Good home structure Quality

Zach was very nice to me every other week he would send pictures of the progress of my house. When I arrived he showed me around.

I am very happy with the home, workmanship and purchase process. As it would be for any new home, there are a few small items to be addressed. The initial communication was good but quickly dropped off in regard to communication, timeliness and results. It leaves the impression that they just want the purchase and don’t really put much effort into the follow up after the purchase. Bad business in my opinion. Im not hard to please. I’m disappointing and would rather write a stellar review.

Good process in place to address issues which are under warranty. Jeff has been very helpful and responsive.

Front end process was great from initial visit through closing. As the buyer, I had good communication with sales and builder. We relied on third parties (our real actor and inspector) to act on our behave and key points in the build process. A feedback that I have provided before was that I wished there had been better communication with them. No major issues found at the final inspection and they were corrected quickly. No major issues on our 45 day list. A few items have been open for a while, but absolutely no impact to our enjoying the home. Warranty team has great communication from day 1. Amenities are great. HOA team provides weekly communications on clubs, events, and activities. They use a web based tool that ties the owners in with the community and amenities. They are very helpful and have a great presence in the club house. Members of the community are extremely nice and helpful. They make it very easy to integrate into the community. Above average starts from a low bar around here, but generally, we're happy overall. The people are what makes this community so great. Building our home from scratch long distance was made as easy as possible, but was still a chore. The largest miss in the design experience was not being able to see all our choices together in a virtual environment. That color combination you liked may not look the same in real life. Quality of build is average plus. Several construction issues found by our inspector were corrected, but should never have been made in the first place (e.g., warped studs incorrectly remediated, electrical wiring mistakes) and some were contested by the builder and not remediated (e.g., roofing nail spacing). Some choices made by the builder were problematic (e.g., noisy, high sones bathroom exhaust fans, very thin coating of wall paint - masking tape on the wall peels out chunks when removed, no insulation over the garage). Would be nice if the numerous light switches were labeled. Also surprised there isn’t a switch for kitchen lights when entering from garage. For Donegal models with a sun room- the floor outlet is centered in the room. With a sun room addition many of us place our couches farther toward the master bed door. This makes the floor outlet useless unless you want a tripping hazard, or fire hazard with an area rug. Put peep holes in the front doors.

Design is very good. Location is good if not a little remote, Cannot say enough good words about the sales staff, Mike & Adam, especially Mike. Homes are built quickly using specialized subcontractors, that do ONLY their thing, and will overlook any previous contractors shortcomings, Otherwise, if You stay on top of things, its great.

Adam was very professional and helpful during the buying period. Rosa was excellent in helping us with our design selections. Dave was very responsive and helpful during the build. Justin has been responsive in addressing post closing warranty issues. Grading of ground to ensure proper drainage of water towards the common area should have been better and was not adequately addressed post closing.

The quality of yhr home is very good, but completion was rushed to get us moved in. Lots of minor issues, but most were taken care of in a somewhat timely fashion. It took an unnecessary 3 months to have our stone front out on, but finally done. Josh, our builder was great, as well as our warranty person Frank.

KHOV exceeded our expectations for the buying, building and closing experiences.

There were things in the process that were very good and other things that could be improved upon. 1. Mike is a good sales rep for KHov. He was always accessible. Got back quickly with answers to my questions. He was very helpful when I asked for his opinion on my areas of concerns. Plus he has a great personality to deal with all people he meets. 2. My design person was great. She helped me a great deal in choosing things that matched my wishes and budget. She even scheduled me for a pre-consultation meeting to answer some questions that I had already. I thought if I got my answers ahead of time the design meeting for options would go much more smoothly and they did. 3. Brent my builder was the best. Customer service, quality, responsiveness, great with people were better than I was expecting. Don't lose Brent. 4. Closing went well. Improvement in the Process should include the following: 1. A preliminary consultation at the design center should be promoted. Honestly, if I didn't have the preliminary meeting with Meghan I might have walked away. I needed to see the products and visualize the choices and 1 meeting would not make it for me. Since I'm across country I wouldn't want to make a lot of trips. 2. I was most uncomfortable not having someone just represent me exclusively during the sales and closing. I almost walked away. Made me very uncomfortable ... More

Everyone that I encountered during the build was very helpful. The quality of the homes is beautiful.

First the good; our Superintendent Tim Burns has been terrific through the process of the two homes we bought this year at Four Seasons. He has been responsive, informative and extremely helpful with any issues we have had. Please extend our appreciation to Mr. Burns. Now the not so good; while most of the workmanship is fine there have been a few things that were not acceptable even for a non-custom home. Trim work was fair at best, paint was simply not very good. (awe had our home completely repainted inside), stair railing has glue marks that did not take the stain and it is very noticeable. The closing date was rushed. Because on the of the final walk through prior to closing, the house had not been clean. Some of the Deficiencies that were indentified during the gold key walk through had not been addressed by final walk through. I returned after closing, the house was not cleaned and the garage had not been touched.

Overall, we had a great experience. We feel that the Sale rep gave exactly what we wanted although we had some minor logistics glitch like changing the date of closing.

Prior to moving in things went well. Once we moved in there were several issues that needed to be addressed and it took a while to get them done. We are still trying to get some things fixed almost three months after moving in. We call Frank regularly and he tells us he will get back to us by end of day, but he never does. When we contact him he does not have answers to our questions and does not seem to be trying to get them.

Overall we have been happy with our purchase. The Sales person Adam was great. the mortgage folks were good, but the process is tedious due to all of the government requirements and regulations. Our home was built and delivered on time. We had a punch list of items to have corrected post closing and are still working thru some of those issues. Neighborhood, neighbors and amenities are great!

We loved receive consistent updates from Tom and always knowing what was going on with the house. I feel the quality wasn't the greatest in the drywall and also the placement of the electric outlets was not well design. Thanks

Our home is a quality build. This is our 5th new home and this home ranks as one of the best built.

The builder had to correct/change a lot of poor workmanship areas. In my opinion our inspector and the builder had to hold below average craftsmen/construction workers to a higher standard. K Hov’s builder was an excellent communicator & checked on as well as corrected multiple flaws. This especially evident in the painting. Zach had to request a change in painters. Our sales person was also instrumental in this process as well (Rick). The follow up after closing, for utilities, HOA specifics, & general information about the community was poor. The New Home Owners meeting for September & October were canceled & left us uninformed. ... More

Check the options prices before you buy. Sometimes it is worthwhile to get the basic and upgrade the house or remodel yourself. Weight the options!

The area between our house and our neighbor's house was a swamp. We found out later this had been an issue long before we closed on the house. When we contacted the warranty people, we were told by Jeff O. that our warranty for flooded turf was not under warranty. We tracked down our builder Dave P. and he managed to help resolve the issue. We had issues with Jeff O, the entire time on other issues as well. Finally, we just flagged down Dave P. and despite how busy he was, he managed to resolve any other issues within a couple minutes. house not cleaned properly before delivery, several things still not fixed, ( second Bath room Glass around the shower) garage door cracks/ snaps and creeks needs grease. the outside front plants are poor quality. several tape points still not painted, hole in wall under the light fixture in second bath not fixed and repainted . the greenery does an overall poor job. The layout of the second bathroom could be much better. Overall we like the house a lot.

Firstly, one need to accept the fact they are purchasing a volume builder and not a custom home. For most of the residents in this development that has been the biggest challenge. Many items needing correction should have been found by the builder prior to our walk through. Missing shower doors, mirrors, and window screens and shelving installed in the wrong location should have been corrected prior to close. We love the community, amenity center, neighbors, sales agents, and location; however, more attention to detail could resolve many follow up call and corrective action after the fact would seem to benefits all concerned. ...
