KB was great to work with in the process of buying a home. Each step throughout was handled with ease by the professionals and made me feel like I was missing something because it was such a smooth process. I would recommend KB Builders to family and friends.

The buying process was great. Everyone was professional and very helpful. After we moved in there was great follow up.

Good overall for first time buyer, but it would have been better. Our cabinet had a few issues, so we have to replace a fews. But the installation date was not fulfilled on first appointment, so we have to reschdeule to get it done. I'm not sure if it is normal but we didn't realized until moved in is that the back yard had so many hazard materials on and in ground as we working on landscapes. But overall, I would definitely recommending KBhome. In fact, I already have many friends looking into it.

KB Employees have been fantastic to work with like Kirin, Thomas, and Daniel. However, it’s the trade partners KB has selected to use that brings your marks down. For example, our cabinets delayed the closing of our home several weeks, we are missing sensors for our HVAC, we paid for Ethernet ports at the design meeting which were ultimately installed, but wired to nowhere because no one notified us (including the consultant) that we would also need a panel in our laundry room. The Ethernet port issue doesn’t seem like a big issue to most, but now we are in our dream home and every work day my wife is reminded of the error because she needs to jump through extra hoops to connect to her work wirelessly instead of a simple hardwire. ... We moved in, and shortly after, the COVID19 quarantine went into effect. So, this had a bearing on the responsiveness to our requests. The biggest plus are the people we have been in contact with to address our issues. They are quick to answer our emails. This is our second new KB home, and we immediately noticed a better service and product from our first experience 11 years ago. I understand that the models are “cookie cutter,” with many upgraded options, but it would be nice if some structural items could be changed, like a pocket door or garage options that wouldn’t change the engineering structure of the home. The loan experience was the best for me. There was no pressure. Lisa was so helpful. She walked me through the process. She made me feel relaxed and happy. So much so I recommended KB to my friends who were looking to buy.

They want you to sign the contract. Give tou the house unfinish. Had alot of issues. Until not its not resolved. Promises promises promiese BS.

Still waiting for construction deficiencies to be addressed AND corrected. 60 days in, very disappointed. Sales & financing went great - all other aspects are lacking.

There’s a lot of things that need fixing but if it wasn’t for me discovering how lazy the work was done considering the island power cord was never done under the island except 5 inches away and under the carpet is unacceptable. Thats a fire hazard which gives me more concern to uncover more things as it’s coming along. Ken and Jacquie were great overall and this review is not towards them but towards their works they used which they had no choice in such a terrible market we were going through.

It was a ok experience overall. The house is nice but definitely could have been better. The house seems like it was rushed to be built and a lot of corners cut. Again my fault for not catching it durning the inspection. Some of the hired trades took pride in there work and it shows while other rushed. Now getting the stuff fixed through warranty is a hassle, the communication isn’t that great and the people try to get out of fixing it when they come and tell you they don’t hear or see a problem when clearly there is a problem. I do not think I would buy another kb home though.

Sales representatives are great but the quality of work from the builder is so poor. The turn around for work request is so so bad. If I’ll be given a chance to give the house back I will.

The home buying with KB finance was great. The problems found before closing were fixed in a timely manner. The only minus it took longer than expected 3 months longer. I realize there were delays with weather and vendors. It’s a beautiful home though and I would recommend a KB home For the workmanship and pricing.

The guys who sold us the house and built it were the best! More than what we could have asked for

My husband and I really enjoyed the overall kb home process and going to the design studio was one our favorite parts. Our sales person, was the only time we had any issues on trusting what he said. We've learned to make sure to get answers in writing. The superintendent, customer service rep., and all the various builder companies involved were great to work with and made sure repairs/concerns were resolved. Getting our own inspector for the construction phase was such hassle as we, ended giving up and just pointed out major concerns.

It was great experience with buying primary home with KB. Sale person Randy is very informative and helpful through out this process. He provided timely updates on every stage. Also, Mitch is hand over home on right time aa promised. He makes sure everything is fine and if anything is required to fix, he fixes within timeframe. I only had bad experience with Kb home loan provider. They didn’t not provide competitive interest rates than other lenders.

I appreciate customer service the most and Bill was amazing throughout the process. He always promptly responded to my questions and was on top of everything. I knew everything that was going on with the house building process. The house itself is also beautiful. The only negative thing I have to say is that there were definitely some things that could have been done better as far as painting and cleaning up better but even with that, they were very good at coming back and fixing those issues which I was very happy about. I can’t speak for all KB homes but I can say that my community and my experience overall was a great one and I’m glad I chose KB to build my first home. ... More

My home is everything and more. My only issues were delayed start and then waiting for the concrete. Other than that this has been an amazing process and my home is beautiful. The superintendent is amazing and stays in touch every step of the way. Thank you KB for giving me my beautiful home!

Construction Superintendent was on top of all my issues especially meeting deadlines And timelines. Issues being resolved as needed. No major complaints.

Customer services was great, the building process was somewhat frustrating because dates were given of closing and then will be pushed back for months

Good overall experience

The overall house is great, we have a better than quoted SEER rating, but the toilet seat won't stay up. The hinges squeak on the pantry door. It is the little things that need attention. The KB Home crew has done an impressive job in correcting all the little detail items that have shown up in our first 30 days, if the subs would have done things correctly on the first go around there would be a 5 star rating up top.

KBhomes is a good, however you must pay attention to detail and stay on track with the loan office, as well as the builders in the design studio. Your responsibility to dot your eyes and cross your teeth. As I was once told by an employee, KB Homes is in the building business, and writing contracts, that best represents them, and not to consumer. They have been proactive with following up with some issues that may come up after a new build. My overall assessment on a scale of one to 10 was about a seven. we like our home a lot, though, we would recommend a KB home to others as it was recommended to us. ... More
