This was my first time purchasing in Arizona and buying a home from KB. This particular home was a spec home so I didn’t go through and experience the full building process. I can say that the representatives and builder superintendent have been extremely responsive. Since we’ve just been in home 2 months, we are still going through the house and finding small things to fix or improve upon. Some may be location specific to AZ climate as we are from the Midwest. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend.

The sales team, financing and construction supervisor were great. The paint finishing was below average for the price paid.

We are loving our new home. With any new build there are minor issues however everyone has been helpful and responsive when getting things fixed promptly

Workmanship not up to par, shoddy finish.

Walls are not straight water got under my home my bathroom is jacked up cracks in my ceiling something about the drywall you can here people using the bathroom you just have no privacy in the home the room on north side is just nuts when someone uses the microwave or bathroom I have real questions with the quality of the material I can get a nail and push it into the drywall no hammer needed my windows have damage and nobody seems to give a

We love our new home and are so please with our experience.

We have been in our new home a couple months are enjoying it. This is my 3rd new build so I don’t know if I’m just picky but lots of paint overspray on the tile floors I’m finding throughout the home and messiness in lines of grout and paint on doors, I’ve asked for extra paint stock at least half dozen times and still have yet to get it. I went in with a huge amount of upgrades on cabinets, Quartz countertops and other major items but just went with the standard plumbing in kitchen and bathrooms and installed them ourselves due to the overpricing by the design center. Structurally I am happy with the home, but the cleaning and some labor functions I would say need to be perfected since we spend a lot of money on these homes and I expect precision in the completion of the home . We are extremely happy with our KB Home! Everyone involved from sales to the construction process was very knowledgeable, professional and they really strive for excellent customer service. Anything we needed or any questions we had they were always there to answer them for us. This entire process was seamless and they took us through the construction process all the way with weekly updates. Seeing our home come to life has been an exciting time for us and we are so happy with our decision to have KB build our dream home! Beautiful house and nice people to work with.

Take lots of pictures of the inside and outside. This is the most amazing experience I’ve had, during this 6 month build. It’s worth the wait to have a brand new home!

We are new to AZ and kbhome, we love our new home and town.

The house was done within the timeframe as expected. There were minimal issues with the home and all/most were fixed. If they weren’t I had contacted the office and vendors were scheduled to come out to fix those issues.

KB homes is affordable for most families. Our best experience was with the real estate agent assigned to the new homesite. They definitely need to improve with the quality of workmanship that goes into the home.

Overall we are very pleased with the purchase of our new construction with KB Homes. Throughout the entire process we were kept in the loop with the construction superintendent, the sales team, and those involved in the loan process. Everyone was responsive and had all our questions answered promptly. Since moving in there have been a few flaws which was to be expected, and they all have been addressed in a timely manner. Overall we are very pleased and glad we chose KB Homes to call home!

Check your build daily the contractors hired are unskilled labor

The process was simplified, easy to understand, knowledgeable staff, efficient , excellent follow up, and definitely recommended to all family and friends KB Home is the way to go in new builds. We have done our full research and we couldn’t have made a wiser decision to choose KB Home as our first home.

Good overall experience

I have had a great experience so far.

Sales did not mention the home was being built in a flood zone. Although it would be changed months later it was an issue at closing. KB does minimum standards ex: your block wall will look unfinished as a row will not be finished. Talk about looking goofy. They don’t put down weed control so your yard will have weeds pop up shortly after you move in. Contract work goes without inspection being down. There is trash laying around perimeter where contractors finished a project but cleanup has not been completed. Warped studs used in construction of house. Contractors hitting the wall so hard in attempt to straighten it knocked nails out of the wall on other side and damaged the wall. Regional supervisor is very good with response but unfavorable contractors have kept me at the house far too long as they do t know what they’re doing so rescheduling seems to never end. I’ve had part of the roof removed and put back on to do repairs to facia boards. Had a contractor tell me he made superintendent on the job aware of faulty work and that warning was ignored. Guess what: I found it and it was taken care of. It should never have been there for me to find in the first place. Only makes you wonder what else is there for me to find. Oh-almost forgot- my house has been repainted 3 times. A fourth appears to be needed. I would love to have contact with a KB executive and show them this house and lack of quality which now appears to be standard. I’ve been in my home for 6 weeks and have not been able to do things I need because of constant repair work being done-won’t bring in furniture until the dust settles. ... More
