I hoped that for the price we paid for our home that we would be treated like valued customers, unfortunately, that has not been the experience at any point during the sale, build, or post-build process. We have been on our own, have received very little communication and our issues have been passed off from one person to another. Very disappointed in KB Homes. Our pre-close walk-through was a joke and we were told everything would be taken care of through warranty. I have owned the home now for over a month and still have not moved in due to horrible workmanship. I will be making my second mortgage payment on a house that has carpet peeling up. Paint that is two different sheens on the same wall, damaged tile, broken baseboards. The superintendent disregards all customer concerns and just shrugs his shoulders and says”It’s just the subs…” I would never buy another KB home and can’t begin to explain the frustration and disappointment.

No mitered corners on baseboards. Wallboard doesn’t meet baseboard in the garage. 1” gap all around. Third island counter replaced.

The house I purchased was not new but broken, ruined, damaged.... I overpaid for this home based on the quality and workmanship. I have been requesting repairs for months. These repairs should have been made prior to me purchasing this home. I will never buy a KB home again. I asked for you to take your home back but you refuse to do that. I do not want a KB Home. My opinion is just getting worse not better with each person or issue.

KB charged me an $800 capricious fee for delay of escrow. The delay was because KB ignored and then flatly refused to provide information to my outside lender. Beware! If you intend to use an outside lender you will probably run into problems.

Kb is the worse home buying process ever

I did not have a good 9 months experience with the house. A lot of delays, people not keeping their word and worst off I couldn’t live in my house due to plumbing issue. No one addresses my concern until 3 days after we called the emergency service line 5 times and worse part kb told me they would do my backyard landscape to make up the damages. Also kb does not take ownership of their mistakes and brush it off like they don’t care about the home buyer

Please, save yourself the massive headache and avoid KB Home and KB Mortage at all costs. My first time buying a home and I regret it! From the start there has been nothing but problems, from lost earnest check to failed promises this entire experience was a joke. Please don’t trust them They do not have integrity They say you can get another lender but if you do they will threaten you that you will not close on time to force your hand to come back to them. Very stressful closing process

KB homes took 8 months longer to build that we were promised. The house was not ready at closing. We have been in our home two months and they still have not fixed anything. The workmanship is the worst I have ever experienced.

Home buying with KB is the most worst experience ever. Doors coming off the hinges, air vents installed backwards, Defective drywall, wrapped door frame. Home was never Cleaned on mover day, items that needed to be fix was lefted undone. I can go one put it's pointless.

They said was getting the model home only bigger. It was jot the model home it was very different no shutters, no railway, no rock outside the house. So felt very mislead. The dryer wiring was done incorrectly, the house was dirty upon move in, grout still not done in some rooms. Outlets not working. They literally put the cheapest materials possible toilets seats brand new were sliding all over the place had to replace screws. Definitely probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever dealt with, not a first time home buying process that I felt I’ve received/deserved. Cheap materials, lack of communication, no follow up, rushed process, items not completed, & I have questions to this day that still aren’t being answered or addressed.
