We purchased our new house from a long distance. The KB crew kept us updated on the build progress weekly along with pictures. Everything went smoothly and we were able to move in earlier than expected

I wouldn't dare buy a KB home again in the future. The quality of material and workmanship is poor. I had to monitor every week to see if things were done well. Even after that, I ended up buying a home with a terribly bent incoming air duct, and a lot of wood studs broken or not put right. The worst thing is that they cheated me with the lighting by installing some cheap red lights all over my home. I had to spend a lot of money replacing them.

The customization was great, the other buiulders were not offering that option. We got to add or subtract everything we wanted. No package upsells. The options were great, there could have been a few more, and the cost of some of the upgrades were priced a little too high for us. We did them after close for cheaper. But the attention to detail we had with our Superintendent and the Sales staff the KB realtor was one of a kind and really made this experience amazing for us. The home is beautiful we are in love with it! we kept remembering that every builder uses the same crews to build their homes, the same roofers, stucko, etc. so every house is built by the same people. Other than not standing behind fixing defects, the homeowner has found one another license. Tradesman came in to perform upgrades to the home and found a defect. KB said the tradesman caused the problem. They never make mistakes

Kbhomes dont care about clients issues or try to resolves them. All they want is to close the home.

Buying a new-build home was more frustrating than expected due to poor workmanship, in-perfection painting, and rushed finishes. While the warranty service has been great and responsive, it’s frustrating that so many repairs were needed in the first place. The unfinished landscaping and ongoing construction noise have also been disappointing. If you’re considering a new build, research the builder thoroughly and be prepared for potential quality issues.
