Happy for our first home

These homes are built extremely fast and that comes with plenty of issues. Also comes with lack of quality of the home. These homes are pretty expensive and I have not been pleased with the quality of the construction work and the responsiveness from the construction team to get certain details of the time fixed.

Pretty good home buying process. Adhered to schedule pretty well with no major issues.

My husband and I were looking for a new home for our family and once we saw the community we were really excited to become a part of it. With all of the open spaces and friendliness of the homeowners and staff and the fact that it is gated and within an area that is really up and coming. We are so happy to be here. Love being able to drive out and see mountains and have better weather and just be a part of a growing community here at Liberty

Although the overall experience of purchasing our first home with KB homes has been pretty good dealing with sales agents and the loan officers, after move in, we have come to realize the quality of work is not great. We have had issues (mainly cosmetic) , but also issues with insulation, a dented stove upon move in, and some plumbing issues. We have been told countless times that contractors were coming out on a certain date and time to fix these issues, and after moving things around to ensure we’re home, no one has come. Hoping to get these resolved soon as it has now been over a month. Hoping that KB can hire more quality contractors in the future as they are not making the brand look good compared to other builders in the valley. ... More

Good overall for first time buyer, but it would have been better. Our cabinet had a few issues, so we have to replace a fews. But the installation date was not fulfilled on first appointment, so we have to reschdeule to get it done. I'm not sure if it is normal but we didn't realized until moved in is that the back yard had so many hazard materials on and in ground as we working on landscapes. But overall, I would definitely recommending KBhome. In fact, I already have many friends looking into it.

KBhomes is a good, however you must pay attention to detail and stay on track with the loan office, as well as the builders in the design studio. Your responsibility to dot your eyes and cross your teeth. As I was once told by an employee, KB Homes is in the building business, and writing contracts, that best represents them, and not to consumer. They have been proactive with following up with some issues that may come up after a new build. It was an amazing experience! Everyone worked so hard, and we are grateful for all of them.We want to thank everyone that worked so hard to give us our dream home.

Every person involved from Dawn in sales, Sergio and Kelly as construction managers, Doug in financing, Jackie in processing Dawn, Bridgett as Title help were great and some still are with warranty work. Only thing I would have changed would be quality of paint. They use Sherwin Williama and Dunn Edwards is far better.

The buying process was extremely easy with KB Homes. We had some issues crop up in the first few weeks in the house, and the KB Homes warranty team was excellent in getting those problems taken care of. The peace of mind of a home warranty was unexpected but an essential part of settling into our new home

Hopefully it won't take other buyers as long to have their home finished.

The loan processor and agent Corey were helpful and responded to all my questions timely. The sales agent Susan was great as well. The issue is dealing with warranty. I have paint that is cracked, baseboards that are damaged, missing caps on the rain caps on the roof, scratched sink…the list goes on. I submitted these concerns in October and none have been resolved. I was given an in person appointment October 11th so I guess we’ll see how that works out.

We were helped in picking the right house for us. We were also given the right support when it came to financing our home. From the first walk-through to the closing we were well informed. We are very happy with our home.

Home buying with KB is the most worst experience ever. Doors coming off the hinges, air vents installed backwards, Defective drywall, wrapped door frame. Home was never Cleaned on mover day, items that needed to be fix was lefted undone. I can go one put it's pointless.

KB Employees have been fantastic to work with like Kirin, Thomas, and Daniel. However, it’s the trade partners KB has selected to use that brings your marks down. For example, our cabinets delayed the closing of our home several weeks, we are missing sensors for our HVAC, we paid for Ethernet ports at the design meeting which were ultimately installed, but wired to nowhere because no one notified us (including the consultant) that we would also need a panel in our laundry room. The Ethernet port issue doesn’t seem like a big issue to most, but now we are in our dream home and every work day my wife is reminded of the error because she needs to jump through extra hoops to connect to her work wirelessly instead of a simple hardwire. ... All I can say is, have your builder fix everything before closing, after closing the trades are slow to respond. Holding up closing is the only way to hold the builder accountable for the repairs. After closing you are a low priority, they want the other houses to be built as fast as possible.

Nothing to say about anything

Everything was painless. The only thing I would say could have been done with more care was on construction. There are some areas inside the house that need more paint like up towards the ceiling. Our water spigot was also leaking and needed to be fixed. Our plants in front are dying but I guess that comes with the Arizona heat. Other than that, everything looked great.
