I AM DISAPPOINT WITH THE QUALITY

Still waiting for construction deficiencies to be addressed AND corrected. 60 days in, very disappointed. Sales & financing went great - all other aspects are lacking.

We love our home in Gold Canyon, AZ. Structurally the house is sound but the trade work inside is not up to par for what you spend on these homes. Make sure you get an independent inspector to inspect the work along the way and it would be valuable to have a realtor to advocate for you! It’s a must if you want to stay on top of the whole process. The Forman and salesman were nice but communication was severely lacking. KB Homes can do better to make sure the homes they build are top of the line for the cost.

Michelle at KB went above and beyond while we went through the purchase and build process. Being our first new build we had many questions from beginning to end and Michelle guided us through them all. We have recommended KB to friends and family.

KB was great to work with in the process of buying a home. Each step throughout was handled with ease by the professionals and made me feel like I was missing something because it was such a smooth process. I would recommend KB Builders to family and friends.

Purchased a home for cash two months ago. Was assured several times that need repairs would be would completed. Had walk through with Thomas and his assistant. Both are very competent and respectful individuals. The problem seems to be management has understaffed the construction/repair unit. Defective master bath mirror, stains in master tub, gray paint on white kitchen kickplate, shoddy cracked patched where wire removed from wall, gash in kitchen island. Sorely disappointed in lack of follow through and broken promises.

We began the new build process in May of 2022. In order to purchase the home we had to sell the existing home as we were told they only wanted owner occupancy which was not true. It took over 14 months for the completion. They gave us the closing date but the home was not ready and it delayed us an additional 2 weeks. After move in, we found things that needed to be addressed; however nothing has been done and we are still waiting.

Our new home has been a fun and exiting experience so far. Thank you to all the people involved in building our new home.

Great home and community wonderful quality materials and best appliances

The Sales Representative was excellent. The Loan representative was excellent. Most of personal that I met was very good. They keep their word on making sure the work they promise got done.

Poor experience through entire process.

Responsiveness to issues is zero. They were supposed to have a 10 day walk through with me after packing into the house. They never did. I have called, gone to the sales office and reported issues in the new house and up till this moment nobody has gotten back to me. One of the issues I have is the toilet. It doesn't flush properly, nothing is occluded the passage. Probably an engineering error, I would guess. It's so frustrating that I just packed into a newly built house with just one toilet in a four bedroom house. This is really a bad experience. Everything great went as it should

I had a great experience in purchasing the home. William was very helpful and helped me throughout my purchase

We purchased our home in May of '22 and unfortunately due to material and labor shortages of the time we did not move in until June of 2023. However, we had consistent follow up and updates throughout the process and KB homes team was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Our sales rep Ress was and continues to be very helpful and every one was pleasant and professional during our interactions. I would definitely recommend KB homes to people looking to build their dream home.

Lacking construction experience and knowledge in the home building field to no one can do anything of what they promised at the time of closing they make it sound like your family and everything will be fixed but they can’t get their trades to come back and do any warranty work simple details get missed no one is ever available every one is either not in yet off or has gone home for the day or on vacation and no one is Available on weekends but yet they are sooooo behind very unhappy with the quality of the work for a brand new house Frank the kb construction rep is nooooo help at all kb is just empty promises I should have gone else where to purchase ... Waiting longer than a month to replace wrong fixtures

Sales representatives are great but the quality of work from the builder is so poor. The turn around for work request is so so bad. If I’ll be given a chance to give the house back I will.

The loan experience was the best for me. There was no pressure. Lisa was so helpful. She walked me through the process. She made me feel relaxed and happy. So much so I recommended KB to my friends who were looking to buy.

I love my new house! I just wish we did a more thorough initial walk through to find the issues we found when we moved in nothing major, but still inconvenient.

Please, save yourself the massive headache and avoid KB Home and KB Mortage at all costs. My first time buying a home and I regret it! From the start there has been nothing but problems, from lost earnest check to failed promises this entire experience was a joke. When dealing with anyone that is “ a supervisor” the buck gets passed off and you end up working with the same person you complained about and didn’t want to work with due to total incompetence (mortage side especially) On top of that the house has so many issues that it’s nearly laughable. First time opening my front door the trim fell off, which isn’t even one of the major issues. No one gets held accountable when nothing gets fixed or done either, so have fun spending a ton of your time and energy to get nowhere! If you get Lisa for your mortage, demand someone different as she can’t communicate for the life of her, even confusing my broker who’s done this for over 10 years. Due to her and her manager Erick’s lack of work ethic, integrity and honesty I had my close date moved back multiple times to the point I got my keys at 5pm on the last day of the month giving me 0 time to leave my rental property costing me hundreds of dollars ...
