Been in my home 6 weeks and I'm still waiting on ceiling fans, bathroom mirror, and the correct refrigerator. Ceiling fans are in. I took a day off work on the scheduled day and no one showed up. Still waiting. This part is very frustrating.

The mortgage piece was terrible. After move in , had several repairs, takes a lot of my work time. Used my electricity to build the neighbors house. The stucco walls are not flat.

I enjoyed picking out my home and designing it. However,, like any new home there are always issues that need to be resolved. Here is where they have been lacking. After 60 days in my new home, the issues have been left unfinished.

We signed for our home with them promising to fix several items on the home. Out side has not been painted Garage door is dented and weather stripping is falling off. Our wall in main entry is bowed. With a major curve in it.the other day a worker showed up to fix the wall and only had a hammer he smacked the wall 5 times breaking the base board and moving the wall back 2 inches still needs to be redone and now tile does not match wall . So need a tile guy to redo 2 tikes. a interior wall repatched and replanted (Not sure how you fix a wall with just a hammer and no materials. Front ...

Heidi our customer service rep has been great. She lends an attentive ear to the issues and has been able to get things corrected. Some examples were the hammer valve under the kitchen sink started leaking when we used the dishwasher, then the cabinets needed re-skinned due to water damage from leaking water, had the missing clothes bar installed in the bedroom closet...... Contractors are a little slow to respond. Construction Managers Cleaning crew, if they showed up did a very poor job cleaning. I have spent several hours so far cleaning floors and carpets mostly paint spatters. ...

The shoddy work and lack of responses to issues with the house.

Initially house was to have been done in Nov/Dec. Did not close until March 21st 2022. Work and craftsmanship was shoddy and messy. It's as if the Foreman and workers had no pride in their work. Two months later and still missing two lighting elements and attic cover. Drywall, stucco and open joints are to be repaired June 1st, with paint touch ups on June 27th. Will see if this occurs as other promises were not kept. Neighbors also have a lot of "little issues" that they are waiting on repairs also. Very surprised and disappointed with KB.

Still having major issues with the home. And small issues. Calls were never returned notes were never updated or taken a very confusing process poor customer service. They would say they were going to do something but then go back on their word multiple times.

KB homes worked hard to sell the house but once I got into the house I have ID'd a lot of flaws that were identified during the walk through and were not fixed. During acceptance I was told they would get fixed after signing. When I called customer service to correct it I ran into a dead end so i went to the the office where I was told they dont handle issues like that once the house is excepted. I would not reccomend kb homes to anyone.

I purchased this home as to be our last home. We have had nothing but issues with loud Mexican music played by construction workers. Fire alarms that come on randomly for no reason. Door seels that are improperly installed. Expensive filters for the home, four different types. Carpet is standard in the dining area, in other words you're eating on carpeted floors; so 70's. Poor home construction, walls feel like paint on cardboard. Do not buy a home here! I'm looking to sell and only been here two months, yes, it's that bad! I moved from the ghetto to the ghetto, a complete facade put on by KB ...

Moved in 2 months ago and still do not have a handle on the bathroom drawer. Three ceiling fans are not the ones ordered, and the list goes on and no one calls or comes by to see if your issues are handled. Once you sign you are really on your own.

As we got closer to the closing date issues we pointed out were ignored, dismissed, or not addressed at all. The finance side of things were great, but overall the experience was not what it should have been when buying a new home.

Beautiful location, but construction of the home is not worth the price we paid. The craftsman is of poor quality. It is has been a huge headache dealing with all the issues we found around the house. The customer service has been good to send out the different trades to get the issues addressed, but some of the issues remain. The house was built too quickly and the attention to detail was horrendous.

You guys consistently didn’t deliver what you said. At closing the lights in the bathrooms were off, the appliances weren’t what I ordered, etc etc etc. your staff is not up to par. I paid cash for three KB’s in the last 4 years, this will be my last.
