There is a lot to say but I will summarize. The construction staff are great. Attentive to fixits. The lender process was stressful due to a lack of communication and difficulty initially getting responses and requested information. The last portion of the process went well. The garage has a large crack in the floor already due to the water heater pole being initially placed in the wrong corner and the concrete poured appropriately in that wrong corner, then the heater pole was moved to the opposite corner and placed after the concrete was already poured, so now there is a crack. I was so disappointed. I closed on March 25, 2022. No screen windows, no screen door, no hardware in the kitchen and bathrooms. No Aircondition. I set up the ecobee but it doesn’t connect to the A/C. There s no update when they will get the screens and the hardwares or kitchen pulls It is now May 17. And it is so hot.

What an adventure getting into our new home. There were a few bumps but we manage to get through it. Just wish we could of locked in our interest rate sooner. Sebrina and Nora were great to work with. Sebrina sent picture updates as things were getting done. Nora, resolved every lending issue and communicated with us often. The home build itself is wonderful and what we asked for. The process of buying the home was the hassle. There was major communication issues with every aspect, KB reps, finance personnel, approval office, etc. There needs to be better communication to make the home buying experience with KB Home a wonderful process and experience.

The experience was good but not great. The sales rep Petra was really responsive and was answering questions great until the sale was finalizing. Toward the closing of the property, only information given was delays after delays with no explanation. Had to get construction supervisor involved to get information that was supposedly passed on to the rep. On closing day, sales rep was no where to be found and we had to ask another rep for a sign and take our own picture. KB Homes has great selection of features for the home. However, everything costs money: you want lights in a room? It is going to cost you. You want lights in the kitchen and living room? It is going to cost you. It does NOT come with lights, only outlets for "lamps". Be aware of the great variety of options available, as they can be costly and increase the home purchase price significantly higher. Overall, so far, great quality home (2 months in). Also, plan for significant delays. If they expect the home to be "finished" by a certain month, plan at least 1-2 months more of delays. That way, ...

KB Homes in Madera is a nice community but I have been in my home almost 2 months and i still have several issues with my home. Workmanship is not the greatest and communication is also lacking. KB is determined to correct all the issues however it is liking pulling teeth trying to get the repairs scheduled.

As far as the sales team goes, everyone is great. However, when it comes down to the wire and we look at the quality of home you are getting, I definitely feel that I was shorted. I have had multiple issues since purchasing the home and most of them are from poor workmanship and/or carelessness of the building team. I have had some of the issues handled however, it has been about 2 months since I moved in and I am still waiting for some resolution. Sprinkler have a trouble short circuit(took over 2 months for contractors to come out for repair. Flooring have multiple damages in multiple places. Seems like they finished home in rush and had some issues with home. Took them forever to fix the problems and there are still some that I had to fix it my self. Never had frame walk when they were building the home. Had few concerns during building process that we aren't sure if they were fixed or not because no one got back to us.

Little communication but many lies from sales counselors

My buying experience was horrible. Getting accurate and truthful information was like pulling eye-teeth. Things did not start getting better until the PR guy stepped in. Many of the upgrades were overpriced and some of the trades were very careless with their work. But so far, the PR/Warranty person I've been in contact with is outstanding. I am very thankful for that, and the home is nice. But the buying process was one of the most stressful things I have encountered in quite a few years.
