Wonderful new house, great craftsmanship, great value/price ratio. Spacious, all works, beautiful. We worked very hard for this for so many years, so now we are really happy to finally be able to settle down (our 1st own home).

Our first time buying a new construction, and very happy. KB provided weekly updates on construction, and a frame walkthrough to see what is behind the walls. It was a very unique experience. Also go to choose certain options. WIsh there were more, but we're generally happy with the choices available. No loan process since we paid cash. Everything went fairly smooth all the way to closing. Workmanship was generally very good. Customer service has been great as all issues discovered after closing were quickly resolved.

It is a great company! We had an amazing experience with KB Home. We have been working with Gary, Brian, and Kelly. Everyone who helped us was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We love our new house!

Danielle is friendly and knowledgeable real estate agent, she gave us good perspective on the property values in Los Angeles area. We are very happy we bought a new home from KB homes at Ponte Vista at a great price. We love the lay out of the house and works great for us. Design studios helped us pick out options via video conference and it worked great for us. Purchase process went pretty smooth and we did all online except signing in person wet signature with notary. Touch up some last minute repair was made timely and we are happy with overall results. Realty and build staff are top notch! Sophia, Juan and Dennis were great! Only issue in the entire home buying process was caused by SC Edison’s inability to meet deadlines for meter install and home energize, which delayed closing by 2 months

I bought a new construction home from KB Homes and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the staff at the office was pleasant to work with and they tried their best to accommodate my needs. The rates were high, but that’s the market and I don’t blame KB for that. I did have some issues during underwriting, but they were not KB’s fault. On the negative side, I was disappointed with the standard items included in the home. They did not match the price I paid for the home and I felt like I was getting a low-quality product. I think KB should have included more features in the standard package, such as a smart doorbell, higher quality finishes, and better lighting. All those things had an extra cost and I had to pay more to upgrade them. The most frustrating part was the post-closing process. It was difficult to get items addressed after closing and I had to follow up multiple times to get things fixed. The only person who was helpful and responsive was Donald, who is my favorite person at KB Homes. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. My advice to anyone who is considering buying a new home from KB Homes is to not rush your closing and to inspect everything carefully BEFORE you sign off. The entire purchasing process from the beginning to the end went very smoothly. And they provided relevant services along the way, from loans to escrow closing. And they were excellent in following up at each step of the process. In addition, the house design looks good and modern.

We felt like there were lots of charges and items that were not disclosed until closing. We also feel like a lot of our questions did not get answered by the agent and our text/phone calls would go unreturned. We also had an issue with the appraisal that KB was not willing to be flexible with.

While I purchased a model home, and so did not complete the process with KB Homes studio, Aubrey and Danielle on the sales side and Ben and George on the support side post-purchase, have all been fantastic. The build quality is five-star and so is the responsiveness of the KB Homes support staff. Highly recommended.

My experience is need to work on communication when it comes down in fixing things in my house.

The quality of the material is not very good.

I liked how I got frequent updates on the house up until we moved in. I'm happy that we have the house to call our own, but not very satisfied with the quality of the work on the house. Albeit, I didn't ask for any upgrades, but the paint could've been done better and with more care. I get the sense it was built very fast so I do notice that we have to request a lot of things to be redone, like grout, caulking, or paint-touch ups. Like I said, I'm happy that we have a place to call home, but not very satisfied with the quality.

I had a great experience throughout the buying process, starting with meeting Girlie in the sales office. She was patient and kind, and made sure every hurdle that came up was taken care of. After move in, when we needed a minor issues fixed, Ben and George were very responsive and took care of concerns quickly

Model homes looked great, but after moving into the actual home, I realized the quality of KB Home is not top notch. You can tell people who painted and did the construction didn’t pay attention to details. You can hear impact noise from your next door neighbor. KB Home’s frontline employees (sales, superintendent) are great, but sr. leadership must drive quality for the whole company so it can trickle down.

The superintendent made walkthrough appointments, followed up, left his phone number for immediate help if needed. A perfect experience, totally recommend KB

Sales and finance were excellent. Rolanda and Brad did a great job. Disappointed with interior craftsmanship and finish. Sloppy work and finishes feel cheap. Multiple issues with the home. Resolution of these issues being accomplished slowly.

The home buying experience was great at all levels. The only complaint I have was with the design studio. There was too much back and forth about what was or wasn't available for our home. This was particularly messy when trying to put the kitchen appliance package together.
