Have a back up lender if you’re using KBHS. I was declined at last minute and so disappointed. Thanks to my lender, Chase. Plan to do some touch ups. Here and there. No new home is perfect I heard but I believe brand new home should do much better. After all I love my NEW home and people I work with at KB are great.

My experience with KB was excellent Denise whenever, I called he would respond and. Help me. Related to my home. He is a True professional that cares. Also Nastacha at KB would also reach out and ensure all was going well and make herself available to explain things related to KB documents and construction time lines.

Too pricey for Compton area. Contract with other alarm systems. KPS alarms alarm quality is not the best and other alarm system have more quality in re: customer services and products available. Also it’s ridiculous that KPS even has a 5 year contract. You’re pretty much stuck with them unless you pay out the contract. Pretty much Nicole and dining the consumer before they can even try the alarm system. Completely unsatisfied with the alarm system kB decided to partner with.

The home buying experience was great at all levels. The only complaint I have was with the design studio. There was too much back and forth about what was or wasn't available for our home. This was particularly messy when trying to put the kitchen appliance package together.

We had been looking to buy for a couple of months. Passed buy this location a few times but never thought we could afford a new property. Stopped by on a whim after a full day of house hunting. Loved the model. Loved the area. The agent on duty was amazing. The his is the second KB HOME we’ve bought new! Love it!

Overall we are very happy with our purchase from KB, however the responsiveness to getting the items fixed from our walk through has been a bit slow and tedious. We were also not informed correctly about the monthly cost of the HOA payment earlier this year, which was unfortunate, at best. Overall, Kb has been a pleasant to partner with and we are satisfied with the company and our new neighborhood.

Every issue that I have encountered has been acknowledged and rectified by the organization. Rick, our local rep has done an excellent job.

KB completed my house in time

While there were some small issues with the build quality for the flooring, some of the appliances, and the plumbing, the overall home buying experience from KB homes was worth the price.

The KB team that helped us get into the home was great. The overall craftsmanship of the home is par. Nothing over the top just basic. The side yards just came with a heap of dirt no concrete no pavers. Just recently I had two issues. The microwave light popped and went out and when I replaced the light it doesn’t turn off and a door handle just fell off only one month in the home. For a new home there shouldn’t be any issues like these. I’m sure they will be taken care of. But the fact that it happened leaves me wondering. I do love the design of the home and the exterior design. Overall 8/10

They should slow down a bit to maintain the quality of the craftsmanship. They rushed just to get it complete and get paid. Understandable, but bad idea.

It wasn't the best experience or the best material that were used for the house, but we had a pretty good experience. Always got notifications, updates and walk through's during the stages of the build. The material could use a big improvement moving forward.

We're very pleased with the work put into our new home.

We generally love our house, but getting certain issues taken care of is tainting the experience.

I am VERY happy with the house overall. It is a dream for me, and I love the design, energy efficiency, and open space. It's in a great area. Aside from the insane unpredictability of when the house would be ready (COVID was very hard to work around), the one headache has been all the cosmetic fixes since moving in. You can tell that the work was rushed and attention to detail was not the priority. I could point you to every corner of the house where lines are not straight, paint was done too quickly, marks / chips everywhere, etc. The only time I felt heard in all this was when a KB customer service rep came to visit the house, and she could see all the the areas of improvement. She assured me that all the vendors would take care of this without me having to look over their shoulders, but that's precisely what I've had to do. I have to field dozens of calls from different vendors for very specific areas of the house (different people for painting, floors, counters, cabinets, AC, security, etc. etc. etc.). And each time someone shows up, I have to point out extremely specific paint splatters, chips, etc...I cannot rely on anyone to actually assess the area and be proactive about addressing every tiny detail. Living alone with a full time job, it's extremely difficult for me to find the time to, essentially...babysit every vendor / contractor who comes through the door. I wish that the KB rep who visited me would take the reins and coordinate every single person and oversee that the cosmetic fixes are top notch. All has been pleasant till now’

I was so excited to be a new homeowner at Valencia Fivepoints. My realtor Rolanda did an amazing job helping us find our new home. She went above and beyond to make sure our deal got closed. I just wish some to the KB representatives made us feel the same way as Rolanda did. She made us feel like we belong in this community and our goal of being a homeowner was valued. Rolanda is definitely a gem for KB Home.

exterior home lights do not work. keep getting the run-around and have work order placed. cabinet has crack in it. tub has dent. no power or way to activate vent in 2nd bathroom on 3rd floor.

The overall experience (deposit through key delivery) had its ups and downs. The initial loan approval process was confusing and required multiple engagements to clear up what we wanted in terms of mortgage product options and terms. The build ran over planned time by several months. The initial walk through (approximately one week prior to closing) was unsatisfactory. We had multiple items that required repair, missing items, or general workmanship issues. After multiple re-inspections we did receive a quality product.
