Buying a home with KB was a great experience. I was able to pick my house they way I wanted it, and our lot size is amazing. A little slow on fixing things that needed to be fixed but other than that it’s been great!!

Home buying part was great very knowledgeable and communicative sales ladies We weren't able to choose the options for the house because it was almost completely built when we decided to purchase. We don't like The materials for (counter tops) the kitchen and bathroom I would have never chosen not durable for heavy use. Not enough windows in the house, rooms are very dark not enough natural light comes in, no outlets to install room fans, it would be very expensive to add fans to any rooms.

The administrative side of things (studio visit and sales agents) we're great. Couldn't ask for an easier experience! Sales agents and our loan officer were absolutely FANTASTIC. KB is a reputable company but I was disappointed in the quality of the home. The longer we're here, the more we see paint that doesn't match, drywall repairs that were never fully repaired, and walls or base that isn't/aren't straight. Paint isn't a huge issue...I have almost ten years of experience in the paint world that I can fix these issues myself, they're just cumbersome. The nails and trash in our backyard, I'll never understand. We had to pick them all up ourselves and luckily we didn't step on one. They were EVERYWHERE as if workers threw them carelessly. I will say, when our hood was collapsing over our stove, someone fixed it right away. The super and all those working for KB have been great. I can't stress that enough. I understand these homes are built fast and efficiently, but I guess we were just expecting better quality. The shower rod that was placed in the guest bath wasn't actually on properly and was missing hardware. We purchased a new one ourselves. Overall, we're happy to just own a home in California. The help I got made everything easier from the KB family.

Process was smooth and easy. Staff were amazing. Actual home attention to detail is not great. Carpet falling apart, bunching, and can feel nails on stairs and transition areas. Wood outside cracked, splintering, incorrect dimensions cut. Sharpie marks still on windows exposed cables wood pieces in cement

The Sales personnel are very knowledgeable and professional, if you want a good quality home you have to pay for it, you don't get what you used to anymore, examples are bathroom medicine cabinet, extra or not included, driveway garage outdoor lights not included, lots are small, lot premiums are expensive, a lot of the neighbors don't keep up their yards,

Last details on the house look the they finished in a rush there is a lot gaps, cracks and the outlets start falling apart.

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. This was not my fist KB home and we would absolutely recommend KB to potential home buyers. There were a few discrepancies with the build, but when conducting the walk-through, the builder recognized the mistakes and immediately corrected them. We felt included throughout the build process and reassured everything would be the way we designed.

They were very good at communicating updates including material shortages and revised schedules

Know what you want come in with a realtor to look at model homes

Enjoyed working with all of KBs employees. They were helpful in building our new home.

KB loan rates are very high. Great customer service from buying and after moving in.

The entire buying process was good. For the amount and quality of the home was fair. Response to any questions was added immediately.

Everything went well with the purchase of the home. Javier helped out a lot and was always attentive with any issues that occurred.

It was long process and if you’re patient it can become well worth it

Home is beautiful, however, there were a lot of little details that did not meet my expectations for the price paid. Cabinets had issues, crown molding had issues, flooring seems uneven in some areas.

A big issue In the house is taking over a month to fix. More issues arise as initial problem hasn’t been fixed. Dealing with our representative is just a pain and an overall bad experience. She doesn’t know how to resolve and de-escalate issues/situations. Would wish to have a more professional representatives and a better built home.

Homes are nice for the most part. Be sure to do your research and stay on top of things along the way. Seems like there is too much pressure to give people there keys but not fix build issues right away, that shouldn't be there in the first place. Holding trades accountable would be a good start.

Builder does not response in a timely manner to fix issues. Have been in my new house for a little over a month and had issues with lights falling, sink not working, water heater leaking.

KB subcontractors do not pay attention to details, appears they just want to finish the job. I found several problems for a new house, heater was not working, gutters were not sealed and leveled correctly when I talked to subcontractor to repair them was reluctant to do it. Roof was missing a tile and some other were not aligned properly and same situation subcontractor did not have disposition to fix the problem I had to insist the roof had problems. More over one window not finished outside is missing a piece, main door entrance not sealed properly, found problems under kitchen island, the list continues. Appears that the house did not have a good inspection by profesional inspectors during construction. I feel disappointed with my KB home purchase I bought a new house before did not have to deal with these many issues Sales department was good My comment for KB is check quality work on companies they hire ...
