Happy with my home. I wish I spoke up for myself during our final walk thru because there were several things that I did not approve of about my new home, but did not want to wait any longer to move in because it was delayed a few months due to covid. Overall I am happy and they are willing to work with me and my needs for the home

I like my new house and in general it's well built. However, I've had a couple of warranty issues that have been open for more than 2 months without being resolved.

I am happy with my purchase for the location I bought my home in. Only complain is about the finishing of my home. For the price I paid, I expected better value in things like thermostats, a very cheap COR thermostat is offered, and that cannot be changed if you don't want to void the warranty. Another thing I didn't like about KB is that, lack of hook ups for ceiling fans and in built speaker wiring system. This doesn't cost a lot, but we were not given any choice to upgrade too, as we bought the home little late in the process. I think such things should be included in a home which is ...

Loan process was extremely repetitive, asking for the same documents submitted by more than 10 times. Even though everything was uploaded in KB portal, most individuals didn’t bother to look and asked for my personal/Bank/W2/Loan documents via email. KB portal seemed to have no purpose, even though we were made to believe to upload all our documents in. Design studio was great and so was Steve who worked with us after our home was done.

Don't use KB Lending ,Lender does not know how to properly calculate.. I moved on and got my own lender.

Do not use Kb lender , they don't know how to calculate mortgage payments ,certain people don't calculate correctly and even told when there wrong. This was also addressed to Nick the manager and still the issue is occurring.

The builders and construction workers did a good job considering the Covid 19 delays. They were response to text messages regarding issues with the house, paint, electrical, and general house building issues. The home loan team lacked attention to detail and sent privacy sensitive information to the wrong email address multiple times and never sought to ensure it was the correct person. KB has affordable houses and they are all very updated with new technology. However, things in my home were rushed and not done correctly. From un level windows and light-switches (yes noticeably crooked) to a water main bursting in the first two weeks. I do give KB kudos for actively fixing all the issues but still the headache of contractors coming in to my new home to fix things during COVID has been annoying. The closing process was rushed which left a lot of things unfinished/ poor quality with the home. First time home buyer so we just figured it’s easy to get repairs done after the fact especially since we didn’t move in right away. We have had trouble now getting things completed since we closed. Feeling like we’re getting the ‘run around’ since we closed and now they can move on.

First time home buyer here and we were duped. Had multiple construction issues (wrong windows, plumbing issues, foundation not level, flooring issues, doorknobs falling off, cracked windows, windows off track) all in the first week of moving in. Customer service rep told us we were being unreasonable and then superintendent took over customer service and supervising construction. Horrible idea. You have to email and call and chase to get anyone to acknowledge your issues. Then you have to allow the same people who messed it up the first time to come back and mess it up again.
