Nice home and nice service

The home buying experience was smooth. Our sales agent was quick to answer all of our questions.

This is my second KB home purchase. I am attracted to their innovative floor plans, features like more bathrooms, value, location, and the people who make the home buying process a good experience.

We had never bought a house before so this was our first time and we were somewhat nervous but our sales support, Nancy, was so helpful and guided us through the whole process making sure we knew what was happening, when something was going to happen and what to expect at certain stages of the build. The whole buying process was a breeze and the outcome was a beautiful new home with, for us, very little issues that needed addressing. The communication throughout by the whole team has been great, pre & post-move-in.

Great experience with all the people of KB home. very responsive and easy to contact. if only the quality of the finishes and details of the home were up to par with the people. There was a handful of damaged materials used in my unit which was fixed and replaced to the best of the staff's ability. But things like the patio door frame which has a hole at the botom right that was patched up with caulk, or the master bathroom shower drain which was also roughly finished with caulking instead of a neat metal ring fails to meet the quality expected for the price I paid for the unit. My biggest issue with the home is that there is not enough space in the garage--to the point that they had to saw off part of the brackets they used to attach the garage door frame to the building, causing the frame to be slightly warped and uneven. When I spoke with the garage door installer, he said that because there wasn't enough space in the garage, he had no choice but to do it this way for there to even be a garage door. The screws were also driven in at an awkward angle. Not only that, the piping job in the garage is also very horrendous as it takes up what little precious space there is to park. The fire sprinkler piping is done right next to the opening of the garage door on the left side, jutting out from the wall making it difficult to park. Further in, there are also numerous gas pipes jutting out from the left, forcing me to park by backing up into the garage as I can't open the driver's side door if I were to just drive in and park. I also have issue with the soundproofing in the home. I'm not a heavy stepper when I walk around, yet my wife tells me that she can hear me walking around upstairs. Even gentle walking causes loud noises downstairs. Similarly, I can hear my wife showering upstairs while I'm downstairs to the point that I can distinguish individual water droplets and feel like I'm listening to rain. ... More

Used very cheap material, was not responsive with issues, took several emails and calls to get responses, very disappointed

KB homes was very helpful in our home buying process making it possible to go through the process without an agent. There have been very few issues with our house overall though. Minor things have been: door to master bedroom offset, vents are a bit not smooth causing them to be louder than necessary for the air conditioning. And some other minor things that were fixed.

Alicia is very sweet and helpful she always there to respond all of my questions or concerns either in person, text, phone, or via email. Juan is also a very nice, sweet, and helpful person as well. he walks me through all the details about the house whenever i have question.

Our exceptional experience in buying with KB started with our KB sales agent Sarah. She was very accommodating and handled our questions professionally and even like a friend. She was always available to address our concerns. We were sad that we didn’t get to close our home with her since she was there from the beginning, but Sue was also very nice. Jennifer and Lorri spent so much time with us, helping us determine what options we wanted for our home. They provided great insight, and were very patient as we were indecisive at times. Brian, our superintendent was amazing, .accommodating us as plans changed, and making sure our walk through went smoothly with the inspector for KB at closing. He was always available to address our questions and concerns. He made sure things were completed to our pleasing. He made sure the punch list items were addressed to completion and whatever he could control was addressed. He was honest and always in a good mood. He made sure we were comfortable with everything in the home and fixed all things that needed fixing in a timely manner. He made sure his staff fixes everything perfectly not just a patch job. Everything is perfect except the workmanship of the whole house (Like outlets, switches and paint) is a bit rough

Buying a home from KB is a luxury experience. The sales rep was there to guide, assist, consult and hold our hand through every step. The project manager walked us through the home at various construction phases and sent us pictures of the progress. The home delivery was seamless and we felt assured that should anything come up the team was there. And while we only needed minor adjustments they were taken care of immediately. great home! We had some construction delays and unfinished items at final phase of move in but between construction staff and sales/support team, they kept me informed and resolved issues one at a time

Overall I'm satisfied. The big problem was that It took very long time to finished the house, so I couldn't do my 1031 exchange.

Communication with the sales team was great, and it was great to see each step of the process. Communication with the build team did fall off towards the end, but overall the entire process was relatively easy and there weren't any major issues or concerns.

Bad customer service, lack of communication and quality of material used is not up to the par.

KB Home is a good builder. Easy to work with and stands behind their product. I am a repeat home buyer and was always satisfied with their service.
