Many false promises delivered in a very sophisticated way

1. Credit from standard options that can be applied towards to upgrades - This is really not true. They do make it look its true on little things like the faucets that you can check outside but anything that goes in thousands and the exact model is not found in the stores they added at least a 50% premium mixing up with poor quality items. 2. Design studio's misleading sampling technique - sample items they showed in the design studio looks intentionally misleading. KB cares a lot about their official rating, they tell everyone to give them the best rating with the promise that they will resolve any underlying issues with the home post sales but they don't want the customer to include their true feedback in the rating survey. Everyone was attentively calling me until the 1 month rating survey came through and radio silence since then. KB Home - My biggest issue with the home is that there is not enough space

My biggest issue with the home is that there is not enough space in the garage--to the point that they had to saw off part of the brackets they used to attach the garage door frame to the building, causing the frame to be slightly warped and uneven. When I spoke with the garage door installer, he said that because there wasn't enough space in the garage, he had no choice but to do it this way for there to even be a garage door. The screws were also driven in at an awkward angle. Not only that, the piping job in the garage is also very horrendous as it takes up what little precious space there ...

Luxury price points, but non-luxury homebuying experience

Even though the homes at Solano were priced at $1.5M-$1.7M, which are pretty nice single family homes even for Irvine, we felt like the KB homebuying experience was more in line with what one would expect from condos/townhomes well below the $1M mark. It was NOT a luxury homebuying experience. DESIGN CENTER The design options at the Design Center were way too limited for homes at this price point and not high quality or at the level of luxury that is warranted by homes at this price point. Poor Quality and poor quality control

There were so many issues we found after we moved in. Major plumbing issue they have not fixed almost two months after we moved in. Two downstairs toilets overflowed first week we moved in, plumber found the underground pipe connection issue. I purchased brand news homes many times in the past, I never experienced so many issues in the past. We had total 8 families from our phase to move in around the same time, every single family experienced the same. KB hired the cheapest contractors or staff to build their homes. there were so many incomplete jobs we found after we moved in. I don’t know ...
