We recently completed a home purchase with KB, and overall, we are pleased with the results. The builder was notably flexible during the purchase process, accommodating our requests and making the experience smoother. While the project did take longer than anticipated, they were diligent about providing updates to our realtor, which we greatly appreciated. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the classification of certain features as upgrades. For instance, items we felt were essential for a modern home, such as LED lighting in the rooms, were considered upgrades. We believe such features should be standard in today's housing market. Despite these points, the quality of the construction and the team's responsiveness were good. KB family goes above and beyond to deliver an excellent product and the staff communication and responsiveness is superb. They make you feel as you are the only customer they are dealing with. Scott (Sales Person) was amazing during the whole buying process. He was responsive at all times and days. He ensured to look into any questions I had and provide a timely response or forward requested information. Even after the sale closed, he still ensured to stay in touch and provide support as needed, especially when I had some issues with items getting fixed at my new home. Daniel has also been of great support and resource. He, like Scott, has been responsive and timely. He's a man of his word. Very grateful for his responsiveness and commitment to making it right. He also was a sounding board on the frustrations I was experiencing and continues to check in to see if I need anything or keep me posted and updated on any pending matter. I do find that at the beginning, there were several opportunities with Rudy (I sent an email to customer service that you may reference). I do see efforts in making it right. He recently stopped by at 7:45 am (before I had to leave for work) to look into an issue with a recess light. He was able to connect it and I do appreciate that effort and help. I do appreciate the electrical outlet added to my garage, as an olive branch for the issues I was experiencing once I received the keys to my home. Well to start I feel like the communication with the sales staff member Jennifer was great. Very timely and productive. Communication with Michael the superintendent was great and week by week which I appreciated. Walk throughs were perfectly explained that was also appreciated. So Rod did the final walkthrough and everything was great, anything that needed to be touched up was immediately touched up. That was also appreciated! So in closing, I would say the build quality was excellent. The timing was perfect just what they said it would be. I would recommend KB homes to everyone.

Great response time came out and got what i needed done

They made me sell my house to buy this one and then kept delaying the final date. Then when we moved in there was small issues, and then they have us the wrong mailbox key. We had to run around for weeks until we finally figured out the problem

My sales associate Wendy was such a sweetheart. I genuinely felt like she had my best interest at heart. She went over and beyond for me and my family. She was answering my questions even on her days off. She went the extra mile to get me into the home with the bigger lot at a lower price point. When I had any issues she made me feel heard and validated. There was transparency throughout the process of buying our new home. Every word promised was kept from the builder to the lender. As with any home buying experience, it can be very stressful and the KB team was extremely patient and understanding. I had some initial issues with the first lender representative they paired me with. They quickly assigned me another agent that was able to thoroughly answer my questions and address all my concerns. Juan was exceptional. I am an over thinker and I’m sure I drove him insane, but he remained respectful and professional explaining in detail certain loan details that I did not understand. The craftsmendship is the best I’ve seen. I shopped around and looked at other builders final home builds, and KBs quality surpassed all others. KBs customer service after purchase is amazing as well. I’ve had no issues reporting small issues and getting the issues resolved within a day or two. They are prompt and the reps they send out are friendly and professional. As with any builder, they have a lot of homes to get through so There’s always room for improvement with the quality of work being done on the homes. The finishing on the brand new tubs they installed were cracked in multiple places. The finish appeared scratched and scuffed. They have someone coming out to refinish the tub, but it’s still a place for initial improvement. The carpet was lifting and nails or staples were poking our feet when we moved in. Again, KB remediated the issue quickly, but the over all quality of the carpet/vinyl flooring install wasn’t the greatest. I had to scrape paint off the vinyl flooring and the base boards were poor quality. They had tons of dents and bumps. But I’m sure the average person wouldn’t have noticed. I'm a first time home buyer and my experience with KB Home was fenomenal. I'm a Navy veteran and I used my VA home loan with KB Home loans. Miss Jessie was my loan officer and she made the whole process very simple. Mr. Pablo was my sales agent and he was very courteous and professional. Mr. Cecil & Rick have been following up with me since the construction was completed. Overall, I would definitely recommend KB Home!

Pretty much a basic home buying experience. Home designs are good, but the design center has limited choices. Main problem was with KB's lender if choice. They were VERY pushy and cockt, assuming that we would use them and not shop around. They requested unnecessary information for pre-qualification, and were unwilling to provide a secure channel for sending information - the initial loan officer suggested we send confidential financial information to her personal email account. Highly unprofessional. Many other lenders out there with MUCH better customer service.

Buying a home from KB was a developmental milestone that I found rewarding.
