Everyone was very communicative. We were treated very well. The house is very beautiful. Although I wish they took care of some of the wood work a little better (baseboards and doors). Some came chipped or damaged. But the maintenance team is good too. Great experience

there are many other builders in the Ontario area, i had visited them all during new house shopping. This KB Home house is generally a great valued built and designed by the professional builder team, the sales office is professional and knowledgeable, and customer service team (after moved in) is also very responsive & experienced. Thanks to Stephen, Karen, John, Philip, and Richard who are a great team and pleased to working with. Highly recommended for the KB Home in Ontario!

We had a good experience with KB homes team starting from sales representatives to customer support team. Quality of the construction is good. Models and time for completion everything is good. Need to improve little bit in workmanship and more designs (upgrades) availability. Expected little more explanation about warranty and facilities in home while final orientation.

Buying a home in Olive Brook went somewhat smoothly. A little bumpy, like taking longer than expected to close. Also having KB management walk the home for quality? Missed a few items, like chipped doors, leaking T on the hot water pen in ceiling, bad breakers for kitchen, faulty wired three way switch, wrong color used to fix broken corner on shower tub, missing stucco under window ledge, broken roof tiles and living room bedroom lights and plugs all of them on one breaker. Other than that smooth.

Good price and good customer services after closing.

The overall buying experience was good, sales, loan agents are amazing but the customer service doesn'y respond well amd at times are agressive when can't find their own community in their list to initiate a service request. Quote unquote by service guys 'Know your community name first and then call for service request' I am very well aware of my communuty name I am a new home owner. They cant find their own builder's community and be very rude.

Overall, we had a decent experience. My husband is a contractor and can confirm the majority of the workmanship and materials is excellent. We did experience issues with shortcuts being taken on finish work and it is my advice to be VERY involved, take LOTS of pictures and communicate concerns in writing the minute they occur. I do wish we had insisted on power to the home for the final walk through - we could have avoided things like appliances not working correctly and outlets that were not connected. The design studio is fabulous! BUT - know your prices - there are things they offer (e.g. front door lock upgrades) that are inflated 300% - those things you can save $ and do yourself. Also - read everything - and I mean everything very carefully - we had to send back our design plan 4 times for corrections. The communication of the entire team - ALL people we interacted with throughout the buuying process was stellar! The sales team, job supt., finance dept, etc. all made sure we knew what to do. The fact is - with a new build there WILL be issues - count on it and know this. The key is to stay on top of post closing communication. I have learned that clear, kind and consistent communication and accountability helps get issues resolved. I do wish they were available for warranty work on weekends - we have had to miss a ton of work to deal with post closing issues. Plan accordingly. Overall - we would definitely work with KB homes again - I have family and friends who also had very good situations and experiences. As a first time home buyer , I went into this homeowner journey without a realtor and KB guided me all the way through. The staff in each department addressed all my concerns and thoroughly explained every step of the process. Thanks to the staff I feel confident and and very happy about the decision I made to purchase with KB.

Sales consultant Kelly was fabulous, always kept me up to date.. Daniel the construction supervisor was great to work with, very responsive and kept me up to date with weekly notifications..

We bought a nice home in a nice neighbor hood at a fair price with a great interest rate for the time we bought it.

Overall homebuying experience with KB Home was very unsatisfactory and often felt misleading.

Rod, Efren, and Mike were all godsends. There were things that I had trouble with and they fixed or asked me about it faster than I could inform them. When Best Buy refused to bring my washer, dryer and refrigerator inside , they happily helped bring them inside. As a young single woman without many people to help that was a highlight of my move-I’m experience. I was never upset with the builders if things were pushed back because that is part of the process. I am happy to say that if I had an issue right now, after closing, they would promptly address it. This was an excellent first time homeowner experience. Thank you guys!! ... More

Overall great experience with the KB team

Really satisfied with the result as the builder showed excellent work. Daniel is super responsive and will constantly give you updates on the building process of the new home, which is super nice. He is also patient with any questions during the process, Anthony explains it very well during the walkthrough and is also capable of quickly resolving issues. Very trustworthy people.

It's a great experience to buy this home!

I enjoyed each step of the way in our home buying process! We started working with Mark in the sales department and he showed excellent customer service, took time to explain each process of home buying and very detailed orientated in what we were buying. Afterwards, we worked a lot with Brian from Finance, he was very knowledgeable about the finance side and helped us along the way to finance our mortgage. His customer service was also excellent. Then, we met Dave and Barry. They are the top notch at what they do. They went above and beyond explaining the built of the house, the inspections that goes along with the building process, and Dave would help out when we needed him to go back to check on our walls and garbage disposal. Dave also went out of his way to help us move furniture when my husband couldn't do it himself. Barry helped with making sure we were satisfied with the house and he was always prompt when I need to ask a question. Lastly, Travis kept us informed weekly on our home building progress. He was very detailed and always answers quickly when needed. Therefore, I am very satisfied working with great people at KB Homes. Would recommend them to my family and friends! ... More

House shopped for a couple months. Came to a site where KB was building and loved the model home. Worked with our amazing sales counselor, who helped us from viewing the home to closing. Mortgage/Loan department is a little erratic - felt like things were being done slowly and last minute, but nevertheless they were helpful with the financing. After closing, there were a few issues with the home (lights not working, shelf not installed, toilet tank would not feel), but after reaching out to KB, the issues were fixed relatively quickly.
