I like my new home and neighborhood.

I’ve paid for two months of solar panels that were supposed to be activated within 8-12 weeks after closing. It's been 8 weeks and now SoCal Edison is saying 12-16 more weeks. My current electric bill is going be over $400! I am strictly restricting my family from using electricity but yet still have a $400 bill. I can't sustain this for three to four more months!

Very satisfied with the home buying experience. My rep Jen was fantastic keeping me updated during the buying experience. The construction superintendent Jean emailed me weekly with construction updates. Final walk thru was perfect. All in all a fantastic experience. We love our new home

My home purchase experience with my new KB home was very professional. The entire KB was available for all my queries and concerns. All my inquiries were answered in a timely manner by a KB team member including my loan officer.

Too short time to consider buying this house!

My husband and I came to look at the models on a whim not sure if we were even in a place to purchase a house. We met Amy and within minutes fell in love with her and the homes. The team we worked with was incredible in helping to make sure we understood everything as this was our first time buying a house. Our loan officer Mike was great and made sure to take the time to explain everything to us and really went above and beyond to help make sure we had a rate that was good and a payment we were happy with. Between Amy and our superintendent Jon we were getting updates on the progress of our home multiple times a week. The communication from all three of them was shocking even on days off they were making sure our questions were answered and even sent us picture’s often of what had been completed on the house. We have lived in our house for just over a month and I don’t think there is anything we would have changed it is perfect! KB builds a great home but what really made us so happy and want to refer multiple friends was their people!! The issues i am having with the home that i recently purchase at the Shadow Mountain community are the features in the module home and the finish product are way different. The island and food storage pantry are too small in the finished homes and is not similar in size that are shown in the module homes. The solar panels which are main features and selling point of the KB Homes are yet to activated and being used by the owners. Both Sun Power and the Electric company are giving run arounds on who to submit request for activation, I would have gone with Pulte Homes and used Sun Run for my solar panels supplier if I have known that was going to be an issue. ... Buying your first home can be a nerve racking experience. Everyone at KB Home made my experience smooth and easy. Overall an amazing experience.

One of the best builders make you feel like family!

the buying process was good minus issues related to the lender. After moving in, I have noticed a lot of poor building. Builders cut a lot of corners thus requiring things to be repaired after. The front door was not aligned properly thus the door will have to be reset, the shower drain in the master bathroom was installed improperly and thus the drain is off by about an inch. Inside the kitchen cabinets, their are screw protruding through about a quarter inch. The air conditioner had no freon possibly for reason that none was initially put in and thus the house was increasing in temperature every night into the mid to high 80s or their is a leak somewhere in the house. HVac worker who came to fix the issue checked for leaks however none were found at this time. If problem persists and the new freon added is quickly used then walls will need to be removed to locate the leak. In short, I initially felt the entire process went well for the most part until actually moving in. Too many issues coming up that shouldnt be present after spending 540,000 on a home. ... More

We love our home, especially the upgrades we made! We had two issues, one was with the finance side and not being as upfront as we would hope (apparently that person has been let go since then), second was that we had to wait two weeks past our final inspection to move into the home due to Edison not installing our meter on time. Other than those issues our overall experience with KB was great!

The worst decision you can make is to buy a Kb home. From the service to the craftsmanship of the home, staying away is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family.

Everyone was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. I was never left wondering what was happening or misinformed.

Had a really great buying experience. Diana communicated through the whole process. The house is beautiful with very big backyard. I would spend more time looking at the upgrades if I could redo the process again.

The new home is great! Kb homes held my hands from beginning of signing to buy the home to close of escrow. After moving into my new home, I can still call on homes team to fix anything that needs fixing. Great team and excellent services.
