Sales was great but when it came down to the building, that was a different story. The move in date got pushed around a lot. The communication was poor. There are still issues in the house that no one wants to address. I’m constantly emailing or calling. The customer service sucks!

It was a great experience buying our first home together. From Anthony to Roger everyone was exceptional at El Paseo. Our house is immaculate with minor issues that Roger took care of immediately. I would recommend KB El Paseo to friends and family. I am very satisfied

House is beautiful, was delivered close enough to on-time. KB Homes Finance department/lending department is the best! Big shoutout to them. Also Handel and Jesse their customer service folks are wonderful. Very happy with my new KB Home.

Try to get involved in the way your home is being built

While I recognize that we did not purchase a custom-built house, however, for the price we paid ( half million or so)we expected more…this was our second KB home. We had great experience on our first thus we decided to get another KB home. I said,, mixed as there were quite a couple of people that stood out. Steve was great during our meetings with him from the footing/ foundation to the final walk through. Respected our customs and allowed us to do what we wanted us to do. The only issue, up to this day we couldn’t figure Out how to program our coach lights. A bit complicated even with the manual re the latitude and longitude thing. The loan processors Dan Murphy and Patricia were on top of things. Justin Grasmick was very responsive and quick to solve our issues. We have a few issues here and there… but what surprised us , why won’t people do things right the first time ( carpets were not fully stretched and tucked just to name a few) I understand we are on a time crunch esp during these covid times but that doesn’t mean we cut corners. I wish I could give a “ 10” as coached by some of the agents, but surveys are completed with transparency so that things will be fixed! I do not thrive on giving 5 or 10 stars knowing at the back of my Mind it was not. We still have a few things that needed to fixed here and there…. And I hope the same responsiveness will continue regardless of this review. There is always room for improvement. I just wanted to mention, in the past the builder would leave a small pint of paint to retouch just in case the paint was chipped during moving in, caulk to retouch or so, we have not seen that this time… thus for every little thing we call. Great home buying experience! I was kept informed every step of the way during the construction process. Noticed a few items, mostly cosmetic, at the walk-thru that needed to be fixed and KB quickly took care of them to my satisfaction.

I’m still waiting for my windows to be fixed. But so far so great

Due to delays caused by COVID, it took longer than expected to get into our new home. Other than that the KB team was outstanding! They made the process simple and easy.

Because of labor and material shortages, the build deadline was extended; however, once the labor/materials were available there seemed to be a hastiness in getting the home built within KB's timeframe. After the move-in date, several issues were found within the home that had to be addressed. This created inconveniences for the homeowner (me). Although the road to purchase was smooth and the customer support was exemplary it was after the move-in where things are still getting done. Our community still has "substitute" garage doors whereas the new homes under construction already have the garage doors that are part of the home purchase. Perhaps KB should make sure everything in the home build is how it should be and making meeting their build deadline should not be the priority. ... More

Constructions are precisionally done. Internal and external are professionally done. Need to pay attention to the precise fits of the covers to the utility box and air filter grill frames (not twist fits). I will give KB 9.9 out of 10.

Updates and follow through.

KB homes takes excellent care of their buyers. From the time building of our home started until we moved in we were taking care of professionally. We love our new home and would recommend KB to other potential buyers

KB Home has a great reputation name but at the Mockingbird home the sales staff, and Office staff, we had a horrible experience. I would never buy another home from KB.

Supervisor/Foreman of the construction are always available if you need them, they provide you update on your property from ground zero to they finish the house. Provide a complete orientation to your house. Can count on them even after the the house is done. after

I got my keys to my house on October 22, 2021. My escrow was delayed for two months because KB could not finish building my home on time. I had to get two extensions from my lenders. Once I got my keys two months later, I started doing improvements to my house. I found out that there was a lot of things that was wronged with my new home. For example: 1) I got shocked from the electricity up in the attic because the light switch was not inside of the electricity box. 2) the tiles on my roof was broken and not correctly aligned with the house. 3) the fire sprinklers wasn't correctly secure, the fire sprinklers' caps was lose and falling off the ceiling. 4) My rain gutter keeps leaking from the joints. 5) Master bedroom shower wasn't caulk properly, lots of missing caulk. 6) cabinets trim was coming off because it was loose. 7) my ceiling drywall has cracked in it. 8) light fixtures on my garage wasn't level or center. 9) electricity outlet in one of my room doesn't work. 10) My master bedroom bathroom had a hairline crack. 11) my windows sill paint was coming off. That's some of the problems I'm having Kb builder. However; Brian (area construction manager) did come out to my house to discuss and address all my problems and concerns. I would like to say first and foremost Jodie was absolutely the best and I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. Ramon made sure to get our home done and was very helpful through the whole process. Steve thank for always there to support. The new home is comfy, clean and spacious. Our KB home sales associate Sarah is friendly and accessible. Construction team leaders Roger and Joseph are helpful, kind and responsive. We were kept well informed during the whole process. Thank KB Home for giving us our first home in the US.

My recent purchase is the second home I have at Spring Mountain Ranch - I love the very reasonable home price, the available choice of homes, the larger distance between the homes, and the rolling terrain area. Living at Spring Mountain Ranch is great!!

Everything was made simple for me and my wife from beginning to end. Thank you all for a great job.

We are very pleased with the layout of the home, the lot and the quality of material. However, final detail work took months! Promises of move-in dates were broken many times between 4 months, causing us to stay in a hotel and spend senseless amount of money while waiting for the final touches to be completed. Higher management did absolutely NOTHING to assist, in fact, they played the blaming game. The 5 homes that were occupied after us experienced the same issues having to live in Airbnb, hotels and in family homes while KB dragged its feet. We were forced to personally speak with the city inspection office to get KB moving along. Inspector's office informed us that they have been pushing KB to final inspection, but they just keep taking their time. As soon as we took command, we were in our home within 5 days. If we and other homeowners had not taken the initiative to contact the inspection office, we would probably still be living in a hotel. ... More
