My recent purchase is the second home I have at Spring Mountain Ranch - I love the very reasonable home price, the available choice of homes, the larger distance between the homes, and the rolling terrain area. Living at Spring Mountain Ranch is great!!

We are very pleased with the layout of the home, the lot and the quality of material. However, final detail work took months! Promises of move-in dates were broken many times between 4 months, causing us to stay in a hotel and spend senseless amount of money while waiting for the final touches to be completed. Higher management did absolutely NOTHING to assist, in fact, they played the blaming game. The 5 homes that were occupied after us experienced the same issues having to live in Airbnb, hotels and in family homes while KB dragged its feet. We were forced to personally speak with the city inspection office to get KB moving along. Inspector's office informed us that they have been pushing KB to final inspection, but they just keep taking their time. As soon as we took command, we were in our home within 5 days. If we and other homeowners had not taken the initiative to contact the inspection office, we would probably still be living in a hotel. ... More

There is a lack of supervision after every contractor is done with their job. KBH trusts that every contractor would self-supervise. KBH needs to apply healthy skepticism to the contractors since it is KBH who would ultimately be liable if corners were cut during the construction of the home.

Everyone from the sales team, construction team and the finance team were top notch and treated us like family.

Short of being a full scale custom home as traditionally viewed, the KB experience let’s you come very close with picking the lot, plan, options and selecting from the design center. Throughout there are personal touches of design that make sense and adds comfort in smaller spaces. The sales and construction team is there every step of the way, I mean every step! Ask as many questions as you like and you get weekly updates on the building status. Enough said, if your a hard working person that want the true American Dream now; check out the builders at KB Homes, you may just be surprised.

This experience was great, it had ups and downs like most things do, but it was mainly because of covid. Covid had slowed things down and had a lot of things on back order, just like most places. But this builder still pushed through and completed my home. Working with this builder was great! The staff, Jeff, and everyone involved with getting my home made it amazing as well.

The help provided by the team, they helped from day 1 to even after we started living in the house. The team cares for the buyers and always felt we were in the same team

Good Experience with KB Homes

We had great experiences with the sellers in this KB Home neighborhood. They explained things well and were attentive to what we were looking for in a home. They were patient with us as first-time home buyers and they celebrated with us when we were able to pick up our keys. When we did our walk-through, the contractor was very thorough in explaining how things worked, who to call when, and the best practices for the plumbing and electrical. Unfortunately, we do not feel like our home is complete because we have found some mistakes as we have been putting things away. There are a couple of crooked cabinets. The mirrors had to be replaced already. There are crooked light/electrical plug plates. Our garage door has no windows in it but it is supposed to have windows on the top. The shower in the guest bathroom is damaged and cracked. How did these things pass inspection? We still haven't heard when the garage door will be fixed. When should we expect that? It's these small details that have made us skeptical. Attempts to contact KB via telephone have also been difficult. I have tried to call Rich at Home Customer service a couple of times suing 951.445.7596 and he has not returned my call. I also tried to call the customer service number and there is a message that no one is working in the office due to COVID. This is understandable, but are you able to forward calls? We do not believe it should be this difficult to get in touch with someone to address the issues we are finding. Home shopping is a long process, but once you find a place and are committed to a home, and then watch it be build up from the ground up, it’s an amazing feeling knowing you and yours will have a place call HOME, but issues do arise when you move in into a new home, you start to notice appliances are not what you expected, minor paint issues, I now somethings got over looked but once you create a list and got a hold of those in charge of making corrections, that’s the part I dislike…it’s been 2 months and some of my concerns HAVE NOT been met…

Getting to put together the perfect home was the best life long experience for me.

The design studio sessions were of great importance and help.
