Experience was easy and friendly

Great job on everything !

The entire KB Team is quick to respond to any questions or needs. I have no complaints other than having to do a lot of concrete work and landscaping after the purchase.

Materials and quality of work is not that great. It was a rush work despite of the 7 months waiting. Customer service is great.

We had several issues throughout the process. Options(9ft ceilings oppose to 8ft, bathroom vanity) not communicated to us until we realized after the fact, told certain (major) things that turned out not to be true from Sales. Daniel was amazing. He was not only helpful but his overall attitude and approach were always very positive and kind. He absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care. He’s the only reason I’ve given 5 stars. Sylvia jumped in and was a pleasure to work with as well. We do appreciate the willingness to correct or help where it was possible.

The whole team took care of me and made my first home buying experience exceptional!

The quality of basic things such as toilets and shower heads, etc. are on the lower end of the price range of such items. Be prepared to pay extra for all upgrades on everything--Best advice is only pay for upgrades in construction (eg--added covered patio, extra bath conversion) that will be difficult to do later or if there is something you see/want that's really important to you--then upgrade the rest of your amenities yourself as often you will pay less for things like cabinet knobs and light fixtures elsewhere.

We gave you an excellent review when we first moved in, but since then we have had a bad experience with Sunpower. We had solar in our previous home and wanted to use our previous contractor, but KB required us to use Sunpower. We closed escrow on Dec. 2, 2020, and we still do not have solar activation as of Feb.17, 2021. Sunpower can give us no good reason for the delay. They said the City had the wrong address on the permit. (sounds like an excuse from Sunpower) When we called Sunpower, we talked to someone in the Philippines and then someone in Texas. We get monthly reports that list ZERO in the data because the solar is not activated. How can we get this resolved? Do we have to remove the panels and get our own contractor ? Overall experience was good. We felt like the support staff did the best they could even though their responsibilities were stretched with the COVID restrictions and amount of homes being built.

It's my first home purchase ever and without a representing agent, all of the KB Home staff whom have assisted us throughout the whole process are extremely helpful, patient and attentive to our inquiries and questions, sometime even during evening hours. We are ever so grateful to their effort for leading us into our very comfortable home. Many thanks to Mina and Luis!!

He kept me well informed throughout the process with weekly updates. He took his time in the walk-throughs and thoroughly explained everything. He was accessible and answered all my questions. In addition, he quickly resolved minor issues. ***Rick Moruzzi (Sr. Customer Service Representative): Another accessible and trustworthy employee that quickly resolved any issues, answered questions and is extremely helpful. ***Sylma Rojas (Mortgage Loan Originator): Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. She kept me well informed throughout the home-buying process. She was extremely accessible even on her days off. Additionally, she has contacted me several times after closing just to make sure my family and I are doing well and happy with our purchase. Overall, it was a great home-buying experience and I appreciate that all these employees communicated with me in-person, via cellphone, and through emails. The connectedness with the home building process was incredible. I felt very involved throughout and was very excited to be so involved and being able to put my personal touch in the home that I was buying.
