Some of the materials, like the tiles around the front of my house are already chipping/shattering. Seems like either a cheap product or default. Window and sliding glass door not installed properly.

The hoa fee is unclear

The hoa is a mess. The fee mentioned when buying the house is completely different from the hoa fee that needs to be paid now. It has been processed for two weeks, and there is still no result. Some workers such as the hoa property manager are playing football to shirk responsibility! If you buy a house again, you probably won’t choose KB!

The home is great, the neighborhood is great, and we got everything we asked for. However during and after the closing process it extremely difficult to get anyone to address our concerns (closing documents, needed small repairs/overlooked flaws, etc.).

KB Home has a great reputation name but at the Mockingbird home the sales staff, and Office staff, we had a horrible experience. I would never buy another home from KB.

There are indeed problems with the quality of the house. Many areas need to be repaired. The lock on the door has fallen off many times and the door is damaged. The main problem is that the house will tremble whenever a large car passes by!

Your customer service representatives is not very active on following up on the issue on the house discrepancy safety discrepancy !!example thermostat programming (?i have to learned it on my own!! Same issue on the outside light programming!! He is not very responsive !!

So many things wrong with the house. Sloppy workmanship on cabinets, baseboard, patio door and carpet. Getting so many appointments scheduled to fix things that should have been done right the first time is cutting into my work schedule and making it hard to get to doctors appointments. So I’m just done. I’m so tired of trying to schedule and reschedule these appointments and have people interfere with my workday that I will likely just leave many items as they are instead of having them fixed.

1. Well over-priced. KBhome took advantage of hot real-estate market. Unreasonable lot premium. 2. Well over-priced optional items such as flooring. Not much choices such as window treatment or ceiling fans. 2. I still have 3 small issues and 1 major issue (replacing the scratched kitchen cabinet door). Customer Service associate is not responding to my text, emails, and phone calls for the simple status update. No communication what so ever after an initial text communication. It has been 2 months.

So I moved in I December and during that time until now 2 pipes outside have broken. Also it jacked up my hard to which I’m still waiting to get fixed. The AC is a massive issue at first it was set up incorrectly once that was fixed now it makes a super loud sound. The AC people say there I nothing wrong but the sound is differently than when I first got it and even worst I have to turn off the unit at night so I can sleep

after 2 months moving in still dealing with issues I reporting before closing and the date I did final walk. they had me sign and close with the promise of attending the issues, but still dealing with it on top of being disrespected in my own house by Filiberto and he keeps recommending people to do cement so he can get money and quality of work horrible! Any time welcome to my house to see the results

Sales was great but when it came down to the building, that was a different story. The move in date got pushed around a lot. The communication was poor. There are still issues in the house that no one wants to address. I’m constantly emailing or calling. The customer service sucks!

My experience with the builder and Sarah was awesome. They answered every question I had and was able to assist me when needed. My 3 star rating is due to the loan officer, Sylma. As a loan officer she was not knowledgeable and very incompetent. She would give closure dates and not make her deadlines. Instead of her being honest with the changes in the closure dates she would put blame on others. I was told my closure date was changed due to waiting on meters to be installed. Once the meters were installed my closure date was changed again because she was waiting on GSFA to approve me. When I ...
