So I moved in I December and during that time until now 2 pipes outside have broken. Also it jacked up my hard to which I’m still waiting to get fixed. The AC is a massive issue at first it was set up incorrectly once that was fixed now it makes a super loud sound. The AC people say there I nothing wrong but the sound is differently than when I first got it and even worst I have to turn off the unit at night so I can sleep

after 2 months moving in still dealing with issues I reporting before closing and the date I did final walk. they had me sign and close with the promise of attending the issues, but still dealing with it on top of being disrespected in my own house by Filiberto and he keeps recommending people to do cement so he can get money and quality of work horrible! Any time welcome to my house to see the results

Poor on closing the title!! Especially Alana when closing the escrow!

Your customer service representatives is not very active on following up on the issue on the house discrepancy safety discrepancy !!example thermostat programming (?i have to learned it on my own!! Same issue on the outside light programming!! He is not very responsive !!

Had I known that KB Homes does not stand by the products in their homes I would never have bought a home. I will never give a positive referral to friends and relatives, as a matter of fact I have told everyone that they should never buy a KB home. I will be going online and making a scathing post about how horrid this company is.

As with any escrow there were some minor issues that came up. The big problem was the closing. Everyone at KB knew from day one what my drop dead move out date was for the home I sold and I was told no problem. Then I was told on the last weekday before closing that if I provided the closing statement and full down payment by Monday that I would be able to close late Monday and pick up the keys. I provided what thy asked for before 9am on Monday and was told everything was going smoothly. A couple of hours later I was told I may not be able to get the keys until Tuesday, which I could ...

My experience with the builder and Sarah was awesome. They answered every question I had and was able to assist me when needed. My 3 star rating is due to the loan officer, Sylma. As a loan officer she was not knowledgeable and very incompetent. She would give closure dates and not make her deadlines. Instead of her being honest with the changes in the closure dates she would put blame on others. I was told my closure date was changed due to waiting on meters to be installed. Its not so bad experience with KB. The sales, mortgage teams could be better with communication and providing more options on home loans. The design center experience is good. Most of the options we choose are basic and which can be included with the home by default thereby adding more value to the purchase

The experience that I have had has been in the middle of decent and terrible. Being that I have a construction background I know what to look for. I have had to go back and forth with to fix issues that KB deemed as there standers. Apparently rocks under the carpet is normal. Then KB has tried to sell me on the fact that they can just fix everything damaged without a replacement. All KB is doing is getting themselves through the warranty process of a year and moving on and leaving people with the issues. Recently purchased home. The low voltage thermostat controls for the HVAC were mis-wired. As a result the upstairs zone controller worked the baffle for the downstairs and the downstairs zone controller worked the upstairs. Easy enough mistake for an installer to make, but 100% should have been caught immediately when the installer tested to make sure both units were working correctly, which clearly was not done. Overall KB has a great process of getting you to commit to buying a home. The sales team in our case Lizette was wonderful to work with, she routinely provided meaningful updates and progress reports for the home. Most importantly, you could tell that she enjoyed being the point of contact for the project. Design Center - Jennifer did a great job of listening and providing solutions for what could be done given the timing of the project. The construction workers are very responsive and helpful. My issue is with the administrative offices. Often times confusion, especially with the HOA. I've been here 2 months with no access to the pool area. Finally received the key entry fobs after about 6 weeks and come to find out the DO NOT WORK AT ALL. Contacted Prime HOA offices and haven't heard back with an answer to my question nor a solution to the problem. Just send me new fobs, please!

KB failed in my view in handling customer service in view of the pandemic and builder problems that ensued and affected the buyers. Employees in the field were left to handle questions/problems without support from management.
