KB sales and mortgage are awful to deal with. Very unprofessional, and they did not help get me into this house, I had to resort to another lender. The communication was awful, the loan rep had zero experience and professionalism. Being a first time homebuyer, it truly was an awful experience. I’m also waiting on some minor repairs that were pointed out in my walk-through that are important to me, but don’t seem important to the builders. communication has not been good. Not very good experience from KB homes management

I was told by the team Reg a $3k credit for closing but they finally said it’s not possible. The initial lot I was shown was 40ft wide but it was a mistake and just touching 36 feet wide only. I came to know this after 6 months of initial deposit. I tried to reach out to KBHOME management through sales, financing, construction leads but no response on the status of $3k credit. Poor customer experience.

Do your homework and be prepared to fight with financing. Do not go off what they tell you and make sure you get a preapproval from an outside lender to compare.

Preapproval process was terrible thru KB. Was approved fully thru my lender and was told that I’m going to loose my house because I wasn’t qualified enough. KB lender could care less had to basically show the money and then there attitude changed. Then when I came to building my house was one of the first houses started and took longer to build than others. Was told it was because of no being able to get supplies and was given every excuse in the book. Solar System

Module Homes

The issues i am having with the home that i recently purchase at the Shadow Mountain community are the features in the module home and the finish product are way different. The island and food storage pantry are too small in the finished homes and is not similar in size that are shown in the module homes. The solar panels which are main features and selling point of the KB Homes are yet to activated and being used by the owners. I would HIGHLY recommend using your own lender along and make sure you are on top of them because they dropped the ball A ALOT.

Horrible sales experience with Kelly. Constant miscommunication with superintendent Daniel. Major issues with home finish interior & exterior. Sewer backup with 2 weeks of move in 3 calls to customer service and had to call our own plumber. The experience started off a little troubling dealing with the sales office. Once we showed serious interest in a new home purchase, every thing everything was suddenly rushed. Hurry and give a deposit, hurry and sign mountains of paperwork. Always giving me deadlines. At one point I, asked for an extra day to have my attorney review the contract for the lot/future home. The next day I received an email from the sales office telling me our contract was void, that our lot was now back on the market and if I wanted to restart the process, the cost of the lot will go up $2000! Not happy with the home ! Moved in on Oct . 31st .. The yard was not graded correctly, the paint inside and outside the home wasn’t really painted it was dusted with color .. can’t use kitchen drawer .. electrical.. fuse blow for no reason .. the baseboards were painted while dusty.. not smooth at all .. floors have gaps ... masterbed room has a hole in the ceiling.. fire sprinkler?? Sliding door frame is scratched.. My issues are not being addressed ...
