Construction team lead by the superintendent was awesome I would give them 10/10. Sales team I would not recommend. One of the workers were not knowledgeable on the models and seemed to just say what we wanted to hear. The Mortgage lending process could have been a lot more efficient. One of the staff would never answer her phone and seemed to be unorganized.

Stipulate your issues from the start and demand contact at least once a week for updates. Do not stand for getting bullied for using your own lender. I recommend Rocket mortgage. After your deposit with KB, you have 30 days to back out, threaten them that there are other builders waiting for your business.

Construction crew was awesome. Sales staff and loan group was less responsive. Once moved in, we have noticed a lot of small issues that seem to be from rushed work.

I think that I need a min-course in how to use the Smart features in my home. Also the backyard seems sloppy because there are holes in the sand and it is uneven.

The quality of our new KB Home this go around was mediocre. Our final walk through was a mess and I have called KB several times to fix minor issues inside the home such as holes in the concrete foundation, bad wall patching jobs, and the door trim was not up to par either. Our first KB home we bought 7 years ago was superb but unfortunately this time around it felt like the construction was rushed and messy.

We bought another new home and their customer service wasnt nearly as good as KB but their home was built better. wasnt all upgrades. Disappointed in landscape although i know some of it is controlled by the area and water shortage but more trees and color would be nice especially with a corner lot and premium lot

We have lived in our new KB home for 2 months. We have noticed and continue to notice things that weren’t done correctly or were/are damaged during the construction process. I was really excited with the completion of my home but upon moving in, I feel the house was cheaply built. You can hear water going through the pipes when the bathroom and toilet is used. Some of the phone and cable wiring wasn't completed they just left it out. I have only one phone and internet port which was in the bedroom kind of ridiculous. The design studio should do a better job explaining upgrades. I would have loved to have higher ceilings and a bigger entry way rather than the standard to make moving furniture and appliances easier. Also main office team do not want to engage you ...

Do your research before buying a new built from KB Homes. The quality of materials used to build these homes is cheap. So many issues with our new built, what a disappointment.

Been here a little over a month and have had a bunch of issues with the house from electrical to plumbing to paint. Thought I was buying a quality home from a quality builder. Sense of urgency is just not where it should be to get issues resolved. Not too happy.

The quality of the build and finishing work on the home was well below the standards I would expect especially for a half a million dollar house. Multiple issues with the home, some that have taken multiple attempts to fix, and many more smaller issues that at this point I’m just tired of submitting claims. A hinge on the cabinet door in the laundry room keeps coming off, a lot of the door handle throughout the home were placed inside out, the medicine cabinet is crooked and doesn’t stay closed. Superintendent is just talked and no action. He just talked nice and ask us to give good review. He gave us temporary garage door and the one we suppose to get need to be wait for 14-16months. We are paying mortgage and we don't get what we pay for.

I dont feel like they genuinely care about their costumers. They will ignore most of your concerns during the construction. You will not be compensated for the money and time lost because of their faults. They only care how much profit they can make without using high quality workmanship.

We had great experiences with the sellers in this KB Home neighborhood. They explained things well and were attentive to what we were looking for in a home. They were patient with us as first-time home buyers and they celebrated with us when we were able to pick up our keys. When we did our walk-through, the contractor was very thorough in explaining how things worked, who to call when, and the best practices for the plumbing and electrical.
